    Bismehe Ta3ala,
    Assalam Alikum.
While the world instantly reports and condemns attacks done to European nations and first world countries, the Shias in Afghanistan are killed and not one peep is reported about them.  Who cares about poor people who were protesting about lack of electricity.   They went to the streets to tell the government to have their provinces included in the transmission line project.
They are not human beings afterall they don't deserve coverage because that's 80 less Shias in this world.  Our beloved Imam Ali said, "If you love me, be prepared to have many enemies."  Whatever they do to us, they will never remove our love to you, Ya Imam.

I write to you ya sahab az zaman, because no one can protect us except Allah and your return to this corrupt world.
Saddam & Shah tortured and raped your Shias.  Taliban and d3ish brutally slaughter us for years.  America sends its drones and wipes out families, they come under the disguise of democracy only to steal more resources and bring chaos and uproar in the region.  The Gulf ruling Arabs along with Turkey plan and implement to destroy and get rid of us by sending mercenaries and funding the Kill Shias Project.
Ya Imam Zaman you are witnessing how they treat your shias, beheadings have become normal, and they have perverted the religion of your grandfather Rasoul Allah.  Al ajal al ajal we can no longer tolerate the yazids of our time.
We ask you to bring us relief from the evilness and filth they have displayed in Syria, Hijaz, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq they have desecrated masajid and wrecked havoc to innocent lives.  We have so many orphans, please come and fill our eyes with your presence.  You will bring us peace and you will only be the light of hope in this dark dunya. Ya Aba Salah, ya sayyidi ya Qaem Ahli Mohammad adrikna!!!!

    Salam alaykom.
Hunting the halal meat animals is permissible in Islam.
But you should observe some conditions befor hunting.
1- saying "bismi Allah" befor shoting toward target.
2- after shoting toward animal, when you arrive to that animal, if it is alive yet, doing zebh according to islamic teaching.
3- you do hunting because of an acceptable reason, not just for fun.
However hunting deer and taking it's meat and fur is allowed in islam.

It's me hello reacted to ~ThePond~ in Your Conversation To Shia Islam Stories
I'm horrendous as telling stories.  But I have been a revert/reborn/convert (lol) for about over a year now, hamdullillah. All my life, I was always kind of interested or at least intrigued by Islam, though I hardly knew anything at all.  When I was younger I used to watch many, many Islam convert stories, and I always imagined myself as Muslim, but was never truly convinced I was actually going to be Muslim one day.  I never really had an opinion on Islam, and I cannot recall hearing any anti-Islam things from parents, family, or friends, so it was a rather neutral, and clueless relationship with Islam. In fact, I watched a video a number of years back (was probably in middle school or so) about a young woman who converted in college; I always *fantasized* (eh wrong word?) about being Muslim, but this never seemed realistic to me.  I was always a bit "in my head" as a kid.  So, finally I go to college; and the one thing that attracted me was the large number of Muslim International students, I always found them interesting and I always wished to know more.  I didn't know my intentions, however.  Second year, I am a conversation partner for the on-campus ELS department (socialize with International Students, helping them with their English skills and cultural knowledge), and I receive a lot of partners from Saudi Arabia.  In the beginning, I felt this innate need to always defend Islam and Muslims, but I just chalked it up to being an *open-minded* spirit. At the same time I was enrolled in a Bible analysis/studies class (purely literature analysis, not "religious"), and I decided to do a project on Jesus (s) in the Qur'an and Bible.  Although I was raised Christian (forced to make my confirmation in the Catholic Church), I never really could grasp the concept of the trinity, and overall I remained pretty apathetic (as I was saying it was forced on me).  Naturally, for the project I had to research about Islam in general and read the Qur'an.  When I read, I had this natural respect for the holy book, I was scared to touch it because I knew that I had to be "clean" to do so (though I had no idea what wudhu really was).  Eventually, I continue reading and asking my conversation partner about Islam and such, so I had a basic understanding.  During this time, I meet another brother (friend of my partner) who I began to socialize with more.  I didn't know anything about Shiite Islam or Sunnis really except that Sunnis were the majority and that Hassan from the Kite Runner was a Shiite (and was hated by his culture for some unseen reason).

Eventually, I discuss more in depth with this brother, and he finally tells me about the differences about Shiite and Sunni Islam; and he was very unbiased, and described the differences as simply as possible, saying that there was a difference in leadership and who possesses knowledge for the muslim community. Although this man was Shiite, I didn't really have too much of an intention to become Shiite.  I began witnessing the oppression and degradation of Shiites within the Muslim community, and I truly believe I was too scared to be Shiite at the point.  I told myself I didn't want to be a minority; I didn't want to have to *deal* with having to defend my beliefs and the reality that I would be among a relatively small, and disliked demographic.  I didn't want to be Sunni either; I didn't want to have to call myself anything.  Because I only had this brother as a source I learned how to pray from him, though he openly told me this is the Shiite way and I do not have to pray this way.  During this period (being of conversion process), I was sort of a one-foot-in-one-foot-out-Shiite; I didn't say I was *Shiite* and I did not think I would ever call myself anything other than "simply" Muslim. This carried on for a few months; and eventually the brother and I had intentions to become religiously married. He told me several times not to be Shiite because he was, but he said that he strongly believed Shiite Islam would be the most rational for me.  So I decided to actually research.

Boy, I was shocked.  Not disgusted.  But shocked.  The information was logical, clear, and well-argued.  What really was the kicker was the fact that the most authentic of Sunni hadith collections (Sahih, Bukhari) SUPPORTED the doctrine of Shiites.  Being someone who sees themselves as logical and rational, I was incredibly convinced; yet at the same time frustrated.  How could people hold these ridiculous, unsupported beliefs of Shiites? How could they not see it was the "Qur'an and Ahul Bayt" (not Sunnah) when it was IN THEIR BOOKS.  For me, part of my research was to see if I could find any valid arguments AGAINST the Shiites, but I could not; any argument raised was thoroughly refuted.  Although sometimes, I am leery to call myself Shiite (there is a huge presence of Salafis at my school), I know that pretty much everyone knows I am Shiite and that to show fear allows them to essentially win.  Initially, I was scared of praying at my university because I knew the minute someone walked in seeing me pray they would know I was Shiite.  But I do not have fear any longer. I bring my turbah to the prayer room (I do not leave it there because they like to smash them apparently).

But, I say, hamdullilah I am Shiite Muslim.

It's me hello reacted to AliHussainFaraji in Why Do Sunnis Ignore These Points?
Because they are the successors to the Prophet (pbuh) and are the ones who maintained true Islam. Sunni'ism/the Sunni Calipha deviated the religion Allah had perfected.
Firstly, they were not like any other Muslim because they divinely appointed and behaved, spoke and acted under divine command. Secondly, the Quran and hadith clearly states that they do have rights over every other Muslim. You're exemplifying the perfect use for this Ayah:
    Surah Al-Imran, Ayah 19:
"Indeed, with Allah religion is Islam, and those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves. And whoever defies Allah’s signs [should know that] Allah is swift at reckoning.""
Not leader of the Ummah, which is what we're talking about here. They can be scholars.
Go ahead and explain how Muslims (Shia) like Ali (as) in the same way Christians like Jesus (as) in any way whatsoever. Because there are drawings of him? The fact is they like him for his piousness and because he was a righteous servant of Allah. The Quran says that Allah has favored them (the Prophets and Imams), so that we too should favor them.
Also, how often do you see Sunnis saying we have to love all the Sahabah? They don't like the deviators of Islam too much? It's especially ironic considering some of the so-called 'Sahaba' also killed many of the other Sahaba.
In other words you will continue to reject the authentic words of the Prophet (pbuh). Go ahead and explain why you can't take them at 100%, because the Prophet's (pbuh) words contradict Sunni'ism? You would rather be a Sunni than be a Muslim and obey Allah and the Prophet (pbuh)? Astaghfirullah...
There is no way you can interpret it in any other way. The Prophet (pbuh) said that after him there will be 12 Muslim leaders, all of them from Quraysh. The 12 Shia Imams are the only 12 Muslims leaders, all of them from Quraysh. You either obey the Prophet (pbuh) or you don't. You are either a Muslim or you are not.
Firstly, I did. Maybe you should read the entire post. Secondly, the Quran says to obey the Prophet (pbuh), which you say we shouldn't do 100%.
This was an especially funny comment since Sunnis name themselves after the Sunnah.
Funny, because I posted an Ayah from the Quran where Allah says Ibrahim (as) was a Shia.
    Surah As-Saaffat, Ayah 83:
"And most surely Ibraham was among the Shia of him (i.e., Noah)"
Shias say we are Muslims. We only refer to ourselves as Shia when it's necessary to distinguish from Sunnis, Sufis, etc.
Furthermore, saying Shia is wrong because you falsely think it is a sect is utter nonsense. Shia beliefs are the only ones in accordance to Islam, and Sunni'ism (a created sect) is contradicted by it. Shia IS Muslim.
Exactly, so why would the Sunnis divide into their own sect, reject the Prophet (pbuh) when he said that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) is his successor and there will only be 12 Muslim leaders from Quraysh after him, and instead accept Abu Bakr as the Caliphate and more than 170 Caliphs, many of whom not from Quraysh, after him?
Why would they change the way Muslims pray?
    Surah At-Tawba, Ayah 67:
"The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just, and are close with their hands. They have forgotten Allah; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse."
    Surah Al-Ma'ida, Ayah 19:
"The Jews say, ‘Allah’s hand is tied up.’ Tied up be their hands, and cursed be they for what they say! Rather, His hands are wide open: He bestows as He wishes. Surely many of them will be increased by what has been sent to you from your Lord in rebellion and unfaith, and We have cast enmity and hatred amongst them until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they ignite the flames of war, Allah puts them out. They seek to cause corruption on the earth, and Allah does not like the agents of corruption."
Allah says the Jews hands are tied up, and guess who prays like the Jews.

Why would they change the Wudu?
*Note: This is from my post above, but it seems you haven't actually read the whole post*
Why would they change the date of Ramadan?
"O Men, the unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which Allah forbade, and to forbid that which Allah has made permissible."
    - The Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) last sermon
Why would they kill the Ahlul Bayt?
*Note: This is also from my post above, but it seems you haven't actually read the whole post*
Do you have no shame before Allah? You try and deviate Allah's perfected religion and choose Sunni'ism over Islam? What's the matter with you? Go ahead and post a 100% authenticated part of the Sunnah that contradicts Shiasm. Are you also not the one who just said:
Where did you even see me refer to myself as Shia in the post? Even the thread title says Islam, not Shiasm. Shaitain is in your head thinking Shia is a sect. You should read the entire post, because it proves without any doubt that Shiasm is synonymous with Islam. Shia, and possibly ignorant Sunnis, Sufis, etc. (who are not aware of this truth and would convert to true Islam if they saw this), are the only Muslims. Sunni beliefs and practice are a contradiction to Islam.
You should take your own advice, because I will say I am Muslim and I will be sincere, but you will say Muslim and it will be a lie because a Muslim must accept the Quran, obey the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and does not reject Allah's signs. Allah may question you about why you rejected Islam when the truth came to you and favored being a Sunni instead of being a Muslim.
    Surah Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrites):
{1} "When the hypocrites come to you they say, 'We bear witness that you are indeed the apostle of Allah.' Allah knows that you are indeed His Apostle, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars."
{2} "They make a shield of their oaths, and bar from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they used to do."
    Surah Al-Hajj:
{54} "That those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, and so they may have faith in it, and their hearts may be humbled before Him. Indeed Allah guides those who have faith to a straight path."
{55} "Those who are faithless persist in their doubt about it, until the Hour overtakes them suddenly, or they are overtaken by the punishment of an inauspicious day."
{56} "On that day all sovereignty will belong to Allah: He will judge between them. Then those who have faith and do righteous deeds will be in gardens of bliss,"
{57} "and those who are faithless and who deny Our signs —for such there will be a humiliating punishment."
Surah Ghafir (Surah Al-Mu'min), Ayah 4:
"No one disputes the signs of Allah except the faithless. So do not be misled by their bustle in the towns."
    Surah Al-Imran, Ayah 4:
"Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retributions."
My advice to you is that you embrace Islam instead of Sunni'ism. May Allah guide you to the right path.

It's me hello reacted to pandit sukiman in Was Muawia' a Muslim?
It is difficult for a non-Muslim like myself to say whether Muawiya was a Muslim or not. However, let us see what we can deduce from history. Muawiya's father Abu Sufyan was a committed enemy of the Prophet of Islam and until his final defeat he remained a kafir and mushrik. He and his sons Yazid and Muawiya accepted Islam on the day, the Prophet captured Mecca and destroyed the idols and put an end to the Meccan's opposition to Islam. Muawiya's mother Hinda's hatred for Islam and the Prophet of Islam was legendary. Her personal character was also questionable and it is well documented that when she accepted Islam, the Prophet asked her to pledge that she would not commit adultery. Her barbaric treatment of Hamza's corpse when Hamza fell in the Battle of Uhad need not be repeated. The whole of Abu Suffyan and his clan Bani Umaiyyah hated Ali ibn Abi Talib because during the Battles of Badr, Ohad and the Ditch, he killed all the famous warriors of the Meccans especially many from the Umaiyyad clan.
In their hearts, Abu Suffyan and his sons hated the Prophet of Islam and Ali. But there is a saying: if you cannot beat them join them'. Along with many others, Abu Suffyan, Muawiya and his brother Yazid became Muslims. However, they were munafiqs and deep down they were looking for the opportunity to destroy Islam and hurt the Prophet of Islam and His Family in particular Ali and Fatima and their children Hassan and Hussain. Obviously, Muawiya was unable to destroy Islam but he worked day and night to get power and he succeeded in this. He was appointed the governor of Syria by Omar and when Ali became the Caliph, Muawiya had been ruling Syria as its governor for 22-23 years and through bribes and corruption, he built a powerful political base for himself. He knew that Ali was not responsible for the assassination of Uthman, yet he propagated that Ali had the 3rd Caliph killed. Muawiya caused the Battle of Siffin in which over 45,000 Muslims including great personalities like Ammar ibn Yasir and Owais Qarni were killed. Their blood is on his head. He started the practice of cursing Ali although he knew that Ali was much loved by the Prophet of Islam who had clearly decreed that Ali was the Maula of all Muslims and also He had decreed that: Whoever shall be an enemy of Ali shall be my[Prophet's] enemy and also shall be an enemy of Allah for Allah is pleased with Ali's righteousness.
The religion of Muawiya is apparent when he deceived and cheated Hassan and violated all the terms of Hassan's abdication. He had Hassan who was the beloved grandson of the Prophet poisoned and then appointed his alcoholic and lecher son Yazid as his successor. When Hussain's head was brought before Yazid, he hit Hussain's lips and face with a baton and called upon his pagan ancestors who had fought the Prophet and had been killed by Hussain's father Ali in the Battles of Badr and Ohad. Yazid said that only if his pagan ancestors could come to life and see how he had avenged their deaths and that they would be happy with him and there was no revelation nor did an angel descend with a message [he refuted the Quran] but this was a ruse by Bani Hashim [the Prophet of Islam's Clan] to empower themselves. Muawiya at heart was never a Muslim, he was one of the munafiqs. Muawiya did many things which the Prophet of Islam had forbidden and it would require many, many pages to go through all of his misdeeds. I have tried to be very brief.
I apologize to the Shia, if have made any mistakes in the historical analysis of Muawiya's religion.
