Really? Your Muslim “scholar” [yasir habib] doesn’t agree with that philosophy of yours as he calls plenty of other scholars corrupt, fasiq, ignorant, etc..
Isn’t he wrong for doing that? or are the people who call him an agent the ones who only get the scolding? Even though there is plenty of evident that points to him being an agent.

Yes in a sense but it’s impossible in some cases like let’s say at the end of Ramadan one marja says it’s wajib to fast cause it’s still Ramadan the other says it’s haram to fast cause it’s Eid. It’s impossible to follow both in this case cause either way your sinning. So ihtiyat is something you can perform generally but even then it’s difficult Taqleed is really your best option.

    Alaykum salam
Well you can follow many technically but they have to be the most knowledgeable in that area you are choosing to follow him in. For example ayatullah Sistani (ha) you can follow him in fasting if you think based on research he is most knowledgeable in that area and ayatullah Khamenei (ha) in praying for example if I think he is more knowledgeable there. They call this taba’eeth.
Your other option is to follow an ayatullah in all areas which is more common. I personally follow ayatullah Khamenei (ha) but I respect the other righteous scholars. Allah help you with your decision.

Watch lectures/majalis you’d be surprised how fun listening to certain shaykhs can be.

There are some American speakers who I don’t think have an accent. like:
    Shaykh Hamza Sodagar
    Shaykh Usama abdulghani
    Shaykh Amin Rastani
All great speakers with American  accents I believe.
But whatever you like best. If you like reading go for it.
Awesome can’t wait let me know and post about it here if you make one. That sounds great.

I haven't been able to get some frustrations and sadness out of me, because there are too many people in the house. I am not depressed or anything.
It's not really fun, becomes a chore,  puts a strain on my hands and simply an ugly reminder of my disability.
Maybe, then again, I have Al-Islam.org for that, reading is much better for understanding than watching videos. Some these sheikhs should speak more clearly. I am hard of hearing and having a thick accent doesn't help.
See, now I would be do a mix of Islamic stuff and how to take care of exotic pets, setting up terrariums, feeding videos, etc. Maybe have two separate channels.
I know. Insha'Allah, I will be able to.

I read Quran, call my friends and family, thinking about myself, working out, and checking mosque website to see if they have any program for that day. I also like fixing and upgrading cars, so I watch youtube videos and check autoparts for prices.

Al Hadi reacted to Soldiers and Saffron in Nike and hijab
The nike hijab commercial is very very sinister and the idea that they are putting forward is that you should not care about what your mother and father says (those old people in the commercial sure looks like they could be your mother or father), nor should you care about what your community (the islamic one and the values) says, but you should be "free" and free in this scenario means less hijab worn in every scene from the start of the commercial to the end of the commercial, by the end of the commercial you cant even tell it has to do with hijab anymore but about modern western feminist ideas (you should adapt every bad trait of men, then you will be equal).
Anybody that has studied how they construct commercials nowadays (selling an idea or a concept not the actual product) will know exactly how anti islamic this commercial in truth is.
The idea is: forgo what your parents are thinking of it, forget about the islamic values and modesty, be "modern" by looking like every other poorly dressed women "working out" + a piece of cloth on your head.
I sincerely hope the basira of my brothers and sisters are great enough to see the bigger picture on a macro level which is to adapt islam and its values to the western ones and ultimately eradicate it.
Here is the commercial and a WARNING to my brothers, non hijab wearing women in the commercial:

In Islam both gender can be sexual. Men are not the only gender to have urges. Besides that, touching a non mahram in general is wrong. I do admit it is difficult in a handshaking situation with bosses etc but do what I do, place your hand over your heart, smile, and greet the person.

    @LadyNadine
That’s haram and our Marja’s tell us this. It’s also logical that you want to save skin to skin contact for your future spouse. Many cultures avoid physical contact when greeting with women. Islam also has its own opinion on this.

So these guys with very sketchy backgrounds and  just happen to have expensive tv studio facilities , who just happen to sow discord among shias, sunnis and just happen to parrot the position of the Govt where they are based is just extreme coincidence.
Astaghfurullah if it walks like duck.....etc ( really, really... this is too hard to make the obvious conclusion based on  significant circumstantial evidence , its called deductive reasoning .)
Have you even read any modern history texts regarding movement subversion techniques,  look up COINTELPRO, controlled opposition, agent provacteurs. You really to read the Art of War by Sun Tzu. However there will be no proofs that such stratagems work.
My young respected brother i will chalk this up to youth and unfamiliarity with modern history and psyops.

Unfortunately as much as you will try to open some eyes they remain tightly shut.
So according to this close eyed logic if you curse Ayatullah Sistani it is a capitol offence .
But if your (OMG can it be even more obvious british agent sitting with multimillion pound headquarters 20 mins from Queens palace in very rich isolated London Suburb) highly  sketchy background sheikh curses Hasan Nasrallah or Ayatullah Khamenei or Ayatullah Khumayni, that is acceptable.
You should explain this highly selective form of logic. Or do you just have an axe to grind against all Iranian or pro Waliyat al Faqeeh clerics.
Sorry to say but you have kind of outed yourself my dear brother.

The proof of Yasser Habib being an agent is clear.
He is released from prison early and allowed to go to the UK. Upon which he finds himself with a large quantity of money. Then he opens his own tv channel and mosque, whilst having less than a handful people around him. He then spouts hate and propaganda against the enemies of the British government.
The british have a long history of recruiting people within to do their dirty work, think of ale saud, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, most of the rulers of the royalty in the middle east.
Did you think they would not attempt to infiltrate the shia and attempt to turn us?

From what I know, this guy is (most likely) an agent, just like Yasser Habib. Both spread fitnah and curse ayatollahs. Their followers also do takfir against most Shias. They are exposed since many years now, so it is weird you got to know about his activities only recently

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Astaghfirullah, today I came across a video of Hassan Allahyari cursing Ayatollah al-Sistani, because apparently in a childrens book associated with him it says something nice about Abu Bakr....
Honestly, I don't understand how his mind can't comprehend that Sayed Sistani can not say everything he wants to. He doesn't have that kind of freedom, and regardless he has said in his statements many things which would prove he does not prohibit cursing the enemies of Ahlulbayt. The specific statement was not even from Sayed Sistani, but of a publisher affiliated with his office!!! This is completely unacceptable and should be condemned immediately.
The flaws in his logic are obvious, however I think I need to disassociate from this Sheikh publicly since I've praised him in the past. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib is also in no way affiliated with him, and considers Sayed al-Sistani one of the great fuqaha of today. I am going to email Hassan Allahyari and see how he defends himself, though this seems like enough.
It's important for  everyone to know how to separate the truth from falsehood, and I have started this thread for just that reason. Here is the video astaghfirullah.
