  1. Asalamu Alaykum brothers and sisters. I was born a Shi’a but was never really taught anything about Islam. So Alhamdulillah I’ve been researching and learning about Islam on my own. I had a question, I understand what the judgement day is going to be like, but when we die will we be sent to heaven/hell then on judgement day we all will be resurrected and judged? Or will we go to heaven/hell after judgement day? If so what happens between death and judgment day ? I’m sorry I’m very ignorant on the subject. Could someone please explain?
  2. I mainly wear these Air Force ones that I have I have two pairs one black and one white both mid top. And then I have these air Jordan ones with like a rose gold color to it.
  3. I was wondering if you could please post proof of this? Is it in Sunni books?
  4. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May Allah help the poor victims of the earthquake. I have heard from someone that there was a reason for this earthquake and that it was caused by people. I know sounds ridiculous right? But what I have heard is that it happened because when ISIS was still in Iraq, Isis was stealing oil and the Kurds were also stealing oil from underground but as you know if you take water or any other liquid (oil) from a spot underground more water will come to that spot from around the area and if you keep taking more and more then more and more oil will pour in
  5. Because back then Iran used to be Zoroastrian and the saudis are basically calling all Shias Iraqi fire worshippors.
  6. Salam, I have a few questions. What are the do's and do not's of the beard during Ramadan? For both Sunni and Shia. Is trimming (not shaving) and lining up the beard during Ramadan permitted? Will it break your fast? How about fully shaving? And what about for our Sunni brothers? What are their laws on this? Thank you!
  7. Only if our Sunni brothers would be quiet and allow us to call ourselves Muslims. I'm really tired of having to explain my way of life to ignorant people.
  8. Do you have any Sunni sources about her being rude to the Prophet (PBUH) and Fatima (AS) and of her not allowing Imam Hassan (AS) from being buried beside his Grandfather (PBUH)
  9. Also what is this? people say it's the hand of Fatima and the fingers represent something. Not sure what though. I kinda think this is haram too...
  10. I'm not sure if iranis use that thing too but I know a lot of Iraqis do and I heard a lot of Turkish people use they too. They put them outside of their homes and inside and in their cars.
  11. I think that too but see a lot of people are posting in this thread that this is haram too and we only need Allah (SWT) but I know a lot of Shias who have this in their homes/cars/possessions is there a marja ruling on this?
  12. Thank you brother I will edit my post right now to add my marja.
  13. Assalmu Alaykum First I would like to address that, I'm not sure if this topic belongs here or not. And the main point, I kind of understand what this means, correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's like the all seeing eye that protects you from people's jinx's and stuff like that. But correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is shirk and haram. I know a lot of Shia people who have this all over there homes including me. I don't believe that some eye will protect you from such things. All we need is Allah. I could be wrong there could be some deeper more detailed meaning behind it that I
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think Sunnis said Alayhi Salam after Ali's name and said Maula Ali.
  15. Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Sorry for wording it all wrongly. But also he said what you said that she will be his wife here and in the hereafter. But he said that she is like your mother only in that perspective where you can't marry her, she isn't purified like the ahlulbait was. So all that was given to her was that no one can marry her after the Prophet's (PBUH) death. So it doesn't raise her much. I'm sorry I don't know how to explain well. And I didnt say she was evil, to be honest in my opinion I do think she is going to Jannah. Now I don't believe she was a saint and all that but
  16. I'm sorry I'm just trying to learn here, but I don't really get what that Hadith had to do with what you were talking about. Could you please explain this. Sorry. And also in Sayyed Ammar Nakshawani's lecture he said that she is your mother only in that perspective ( you can't marry her) since she isn't your biological mother and in the Holy Quran there was a verse where it said that the wives of the prophet (PBUH) must wear hijab. Which made sense because only your biological mother can not have her hijab in front of her children.
  17. Salamu Alaykum I have read on a few websites and seen a lecture of Sayyed Ammar Nakshawani explaining what the meaning of Umalmumineen is and how Aisha is not Umalmumineen. He said that it means that after the Prophet (PBUH) dies that no one can marry her because she is to you like your mother. And that is it nothing more and nothing less. She isn't purified or anything of the sort. And I just wanted to see proof of this or something that can back it up. I just want sources for this. Please and thank you.
  18. I would like if people could just share the main debates for Sunnis or Shias. For example one for Sunnis would be explain Hadith Al ithna ashar Khalifah. And who are the Sunni nominees for these titles of 12 imams and why did RasulAllah(SAAWS) say imams instead of Khalifa. And so-on. This topic will be made for people who are confused in what they believe in and not sure if they are/should be a Shia/Sunni. PLEASE I beg of you, do NOT insult or offend another person or their beliefs. Please don't let this get out of hand. And I encourage both Sunnis and Shias to participate. Also BRING SOURCES.
  19. I am a Shia and I don't support Saudi Arabia. But are you serious about these things? Do you have any proof of this?
