    Wasalam, that is not a good example of riba/usury. Taking profit isn't haram but taking profit from interest is definitely haram. The problem isn't the English language but rather whoever conflated "interest" with "profit".

They know that it is coming from a third party. As I stated earlier, if you are dropshipping, you are simply handing their order to their suppliers. I am not really sure how this could be considered haram.

    The objection seems to stem from an interpretation of a hadith in Sunan Abi Dawud where Muhammad (sawas) was quoted as saying "Do not sell what you do not possess." and the fact you are not holding inventory, I am not sure if there is a similar hadith reported in our books. On the bolded: The essence of dropshipping is not promotion like how it is in affiliate marketing but rather retail fulfillment. I also don't understand the concern because with dropshipping, most of your buyers know or understand that a third party is shipping it to them, they are choosing to buy from your store instead of directly from the supplier. You are just sending the shipping and order details to the supplier and keep the difference between your price and the supplier's price. You need to stop caring about what other people think, they don't know your niyyah and heart like Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) does. If you accept these beliefs as truth and with sincerity, you are a Shia. I understand you have a condition and guess what? Ya Rabb, help me in finding a good wife in the same boat as me, who also understands and accepts me as I am. May she find peace and be filled with joy wherever she goes. May she have the strength and courage to find me, love me and live with me. May she find and be filled with much wisdom and clarity in her words and from her experiences. May she in her kindness, share these experiences with me and help us grow together. Verily with hardship comes ease. (إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا - 94:6) Ya Rabb, You alone know what is truly in my heart. You alone know my struggles and pain, Al-Wadud. I feel unbearably lonely and do not wish to incur Your displeasure by remaining unmarried, Al-'Aziz!
