  1. I had kept an ahd of fasting for a day when my need is fulfilled and alhamdulillah, it was fulfilled. Now I would like to fast a ramdhan qadha fast at the same time as the one for my ahd. Is this permissible according to the laws of Islam? Jazakallah
  2. *please ignore my previous post* Thanks a lot for your efforts in helping me understand this concept. Jazakallah!
  3. Salaams, Thanks a lot for the detailed responses. This makes more sense to me now. However, my sunni friend feels that everyone would die someday.. and those enemies are gone. Whatever sins they've committed, Allah will be the judge of them. Any justification to that? Jazakallah
  4. Salaamun Alaykum, I recently had a small conversation with a sunni friend pertaining the necessity of sending la'nat on the enemies of ahlulbayt (based on the shia faith). Honestly, I could not make a decision of whether it is right to do so, especially the act of cursing the first three caliphs. The enemies of Islam are gone, and Allah will be the judge of whatever sins they have committed. So why do we, shias, still send la'nat on them? I've heard it from somewhere that it is wajib for us to do so, is that correct? I'll appreciate if you could give me a few points that could help me explain my sunni friend regarding the same. Jazakallah
