  4. Salam, Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (a), while explaining the utterance of God Almighty, "That He might try you (to see) which of you is fairest in works." (67:2) said: "It does not mean one of you whose deeds are more numerous but one who is more rightful in his conduct, and this rightness is nothing but fear of God and sincerity of intention (niyyah) and fear." Then he (a) added: "To persevere in an action until it becomes sincere is more difficult than (performing) the action itself, and sincerity of action lies in this that you should not desire anyone to praise you for it except God Almighty, and intention supersedes action. Lo, verily, intention is action itself." Then he recited the Qur'anic verse, "Say, everyone acts in accordance with his character (shakilatihi)", (17:84) al-Islam.org every deed done by a soul shall be rewarded accordingly, whilst smiling @ poverty relying on Allah((سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى))'s decree. ws

  7. salam, Imam ‘Ali al-Naqi has stated that the tree forbidden to Adam was the tree of jealousy. Allah took the oath from Adam and Hawwa’ that they will not be jealous of those who were more exalted to them and to all the creatures. But Allah did not find Adam firm in this. People asked Imam Muhammad al-Baqir regarding the verse from Qur’an: And certainly We gave a commandment to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any determination. (20:115) And that according to some people Adam forgot the commands of Allah? Imam said, “ How could Adam have forgotten when Satan himself said that Allah has told them not to touch the tree for they might become angels or immortals? Actually Adam followed Satan’s evil suggestion and disregarded the command of Allah. Here forgetfulness denotes disregard.” Imam Ja‘far as-Sadiq has related from Prophet Muhammad that Prophet Musa prayed to Allah to meet Prophet Adam. When they met he said, “Are you the same whom Allah has created by His own hands? And when you became alive, Allah asked the angels to make obeisance to you and decorated the heaven for you and spoke to you. He forbade you to eat from the tree but you were not patient and thus expelled you from the heaven. You could not control yourself because of the Satan’s evil suggestion and obeyed him and for this reason we are on the Earth?” Prophet Adam replied, “O Son! Be kind with your father and try to understand about the tree. Satan was my enemy. He came to me and deceived me and swore by Allah that he was my sincere advisor and that he was one of my true friends and a well-wisher. He said that he was very unhappy for me. When I asked him the reason he said it was due to his attachment to me that he felt very sorry that I would be expelled to the Earth, which I did not like. I asked what I should do. Satan said that, he would show me the eternal tree and said if anyone ate from it, he will be immortal and his kingdom will never be destroyed. If I and Hawwa’ ate from it, we both would remain in heaven with him. He swore that he was my well-wisher. I never knew one could take a false oath and considered his oath true.” Then he said, “Tell me, Has Allah, the exalted, sent to you something (Torah)? Did you find a mention of my creation and mistake revealed this book? Musa said, “Yes, the holy book Torah had been written a long time ago.” The Holy Prophet said thrice: The argument of Adam was exhausted on Musa. https://www.al-Islam.org/hayat-al-qulub-vol-1-allamah-Muhammad-Baqir-al-majlisi/merits-adam-and-hawwa-eve-reasons-behind

  9. salam, “Satan” is a common noun that denotes any creature that is mischievous, misleading, and delinquent, whether it be human or not. “Iblis” is a proper noun and is the ‘Arabic name of the particular satan who deceived Adam and Eve (ع) and even now lays in wait for any opportunity to deceive the sons of Adam https://www.al-Islam.org/faith-and-reason-ayatullah-Mahdi-hadavi-tehrani/question-18-power-satan-and-jinn al Hijr 33. “(’Iblis) said: ‘I am not such that I prostrate myself unto a man whom You have created of raw clay, of black mud moulded’.” 38. “Till the day of the appointed time.” 39. “(’Iblis) said: ‘O’ Lord! because You have left me to stray, certainly I will adorn (evil) to them on the Earth, and certainly I will cause them all to go astray’.”40. “Except Your chosen servants among them.” so this does not contradict the Qur'an, others believe satan to be the 'rebellion moment', ie "prostrate yourself", ''why?'' is the rebellion moment. yes the dua's are contradictory @ times, there's a dua that talks of the 'sin of David(as)' whilst David never slept with that woman & Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) knows best. In fact the Qur`an explicitly states that a “satan” can be from the ranks of jinn or man. “They make the jinn partners of Allah (عزّ وجلّ), when He has created them, and they carve sons and daughters for Him without any knowledge.”(anam 100) Satan has power to incite man with tempting thoughts, to call him toward evil, and to make evil seem beautiful to him. He has no power to force anyone to do anything. It is true that both angels and jinn have the power to descend upon people. The descent of angels is not limited to the moment of death. For example, if someone says, “Allah” with full attention, angels descend upon him. Jinn also have certain such powers. For instance, they can perform feats with incredible speed. Though their power of intellect is weak, they are able to move heavy objects with great speed. Some verses of the Qur`an indicate that jinn—like humans—are physical beings “I shall approach them head on and from behind and from the right and from the left.” (araf 17) Satan’s exerts his influence on man’s thoughts. He launches his assaults from various fronts, of which we mention a few: 1. He tries to deter man from worshipping Allah (عزّ وجلّ) according to the requirements of revelation by tempting him to act according to his own desires. 2. He influences man’s ability to think rationally so that instead of reaching conclusions based on solid reasoning, he accepts fallacies that only seem to be rational. 3. He influences man’s ability to understand reality as it is. He skews man’s understanding or convinces him to reject the possibility of understanding such reality. In this way, Satan first corrupts one’s perception of reality, then his ability to comprehend reality, and finally his actions. Nothing can harm them except by Allah’s leave.” 58/10 “We created man and we know the temptations of his soul; we are closer to him than his jugular vein'' 50/16 “Indeed as for My servants you do not have any authority over them, except the perverse who follow you.” 15/42 https://www.al-Islam.org/faith-and-reason-ayatullah-Mahdi-hadavi-tehrani/question-18-power-satan-and-jinn ws
  10. Conscious & Practical Philosophy taken from a treatise of a brother who breaks it down beautifully. alhamdulillah. example, in Alpha-Beta of Consciousness he talks like this: ''If in intelligence creative abideth, perception of the world accentuateth, Self realisation acchieveth, Essence of Creative acknowledgeth Experience through life acquired; If through endeavor, correctly, in all things, acteth Then to positivity adhered, Intelligence creative admitteth; Then Immortality affirmeth... then he talks about practical equations of existence; Equation one: by recognising & doing the will of the Creator a cosmic entity concludes a most inviolable covenant of peace with the Creator, & consequently with him/herself & with the entire cosmic universe. vibrant mind & unlimited vision are acquired as well as the attainment of real depth of faith, Hence: Purity of Enlightened Intention = Soundness of Spirit + Growth of intellect. GIFT FROM THE CREATOR in an atmosphere of cosmic peace, the cosmic entity acquires a decent body which provides a healthy temple for his/her spirit in which to develop & maintain immense strength of charecter through the parts of the body in obedience to the Creator... Equation two: THE NEGATION OF PARADISE has seven gates. to each is allocated a portioon of the people who have sinned against the Creator with the following parts of the body: eye, ear, tongue, hands, feet, the stomach & the genitals, these should be guarded, 1. using the eye to behold the wonders of the realm of the Earth & the heavens, learning signs therein 2. using the ear to listen to the word of God... 3. using the tongue to engage frequently in the mention of his name... 4. guarding the stomach from containing what is haram 5. guarding the genitals from haram interactions ( don't sleep with your mother/sister/daughter/brother's daughter/brother's wife/another man's wife/animals & etc) 6. guarding the hand from haram actions... *NB; in CPP, it is the action/deed, the doer & the Creator as the witness 7. guarding the feet from going to forbidden places... the acts of these external members of the body develop through the attributes of the heart, therefore Nobility of Blessed Action = Cleanliness of the Body + Strength of Charecter Equation Three: purity of the enlightened intention & nobility of blessed action are intricately intertwined such that each is a factor of the Worthiness of the human life. Worthiness of Human Life = Purity of Enlightened Intention * Nobility of Blessed Action The Essence ... the Will of the Creator is a certain & infallible guide to the straight path of peace & prosperity, providing a model behaviour & a criterion for distinguishing good & evil. Humanity Exists as Life Continues then he goes deep in the; Quantification of Quality( The Mathematical Metaphor of Creation) the Fibonacci, golden ratio, Space, Time, & Space-Time are cited & etc the emphasis is on practicality, just like this du'a, ' I seek refuge with Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) from the knowledge I cannot act upon' this field is hard due to the fact that satan(la) an avowed enemy is lurking unseen using those closer to you to disturb, but what is good about it is the AB(as)'s teachings do you have a soccer ball, I'll show you a couple of sciences ws
