  9. yes that's also true here it is not of me to tell people what to do. The encouragement was for the beauty of the amals including fasting. am of the understanding that doing a recommended deed whilst the obligatory is still due then you can use that (opportunity) to do the due. Other recommended amals other than fasting & or prayers is dhikr, specifically Laa ilaha ilallah. So whether one owes or not, effort can be applied ia.
  10. Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance. Ibrahim 14:3
  11. Fasting to 'pay up' & to 'prepare' is different from doing Amal. Amal is good when you don't owe, really appreciated then. Besides fasting, it being a month of Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) then that dhikr Laa ilaha ilallah
  12. Whilst playing ball, it goes out of play, so immediately am inspired to do dhikr 10 times, the dhikr of Rajab is Laa ilaha ilallah & something will happen. So after am done & the ball is rolling once more & I hear ' salam alykum' in the field of play, so I hugged that brother who passed salam. I was thinking alhamdulillah
  13. 31. And surely We will try you till We test those who strive hard [for Allah’s Cause] and the patient and We shall test your facts [and deeds]. Surah Muhammad 47
