However, majority of the high brand-image laptops such as Dell, Hp, Toshiba also use intel, so it's a tough one. There are other laptops with different processors, but they are yet to gain popularity amongst the masses.

  10. Whenever I drive the handbrake sign appears on the dashboard, even though the handbrake isnt engaged. The sign comes and goes, and mostly appears when I break. Its been like that for the past few months. How bad is it?
  11. Salaam, lol sis no worries! I havent yet given my view on this matter.. i have just reiterated what the elders in my community say! Many times, when someone rejects a proposal or things don't go right between the spouses leading to the engagement breaking, people say it was not written for them to get married, and other similar statements. Thus, i was wondering whether what they say has any backing in Islam. As we know, in Shia Islam some important matters such as sustenance is decreed to a certain extent by Allah (s.w.t), in that you can work extremely hard but still be poor. Thus, with that in mind, another extremely important aspect in ones life is that of marriage... when you think about it the best example of a marriage is between Imam Ali (a.s) and Bibi Fatema, and i cant help but think that their marriage was a pre-destination. (correct me please if i am wrong) Similarly, we have the 11th Imam who married Lady Nargis, once again a marriage that was pre-destined if i am not mistaken.
  12. Salaam alaykum brothers and sisters, I have always wondered whether marriage in the Shia belief is in the pre-destination category or not. Many times you hear people say that if it is written for them to get married, then they will. So, is marriage something written in the heavens, or is it fully delegated to the individual to decide, or is it in between?
  13. Salaam alaykum dear brothers and sisters, I was just wondering if any of you know any Islamic series such as those of prophet yusuf that are in Urdu, Gujarati or kutchi. My grandparents recently just finished watching a series on nabi yusuf, and they were sooo addicted to it. Now i'm left with the responsibility to find them new ones!! Any help would greatly be appreciated. Ma'aslaam,

  16. The beauty of Islam is,that despite your mother is dead, you can still make it up to her. Infact, ultimately, what matters is the akhira, and im sure you'll agree with me. Thus, instead of getting depressed, pick yourself up with a new purpose in life: it could be getting richer so that you can give charity and open charity foundations on you're mothers behalf. Or, raise children who will serve the imam or our time, doing it in the name of you're mother. Infact, I can go on and on regarding the things you can do, that will MAKE YOUR MUM EVRN HAPPIER, AS IT WILL HELP HER IN THE BARZAKH And what you did is remarkable, instead of just leaving your parents, you tried you're level best to take care of your mum. Moreover, remember that the feelings we get sometimes are whispers of the devil. Satan and his legions are very smart. The fact is, you've been feeling guilty all this time, showing that what you felt when the Dr told you that you're Mum has passed away was the whispers of the devil. Now answer this last qn: would your mum be happy with where you're taking yourself at the moment, and you're direction in life? Pick yourself up, and do it for her!
  17. Ah, we will trully miss you. I enjoy reading your posts! :(
  18. This is one man they shouldnt dare to touch, for if they even cause a little bit of harm to him they will know who the Shia of Ali really are. Wallah, it will be hard to keep our emotions intact if anything were to happen to this great Muslim scholar.
  19. I have the same exact thoughts, as I have seen too many kids in this new generation go astray. Some due to poor upbringing, but at other times even with the best and most religious parents you see the child going astray. However, upbringing and the environment plays a GREAT role in the direction the child will take. Moreover, we need to have faith in God, and must not despair in his mercy. There is no reason why if you try your level best, and pray to God, you end up with a child who becomes a scholar who guides the lost souls we see, or the biggest of all priviledges; a soldier of our Imam. So yeah, at this point in time I have mixed feelings!
