  1. I found HTML in the coding section! Cannot wait to test it out.
  2. Salam, one of those was really helpful! Umm Salamah, the wife of the Holy Prophet, (s) said: One day Maymunah and I were with Prophet Muhammad (s) and Ibn Umm Maktum who was blind came to see the Prophet (s). The Prophet (s) asked us to have our hijab. We said: “O Apostle of God! Ibn Ma
  3. This is very close to what I am seeking. Can you get me more information on the Ihtijaj reference? (Vol, ch, p...)
  4. Salam alaykum The larger Muslim organisations will be able to do the normal things like condemning terrorism and calling for peaceful resolutions. We can also count on them, local and regional leaders, and sometimes the President to encourage the rest of Americans to not get violent on us. I have a thought, though. I think that on the community level, we Muslims need to start investing our time and resources on internal self-healing at the community level. I think that this is something that would have to be done in exclusive spaces. God bless our allies, but it is we who need
  5. Salam alaykum Do you know of any ulama who have used that aya, with the reference to fasiqin, and who have then expounded on the concept of fasiqin or fisq? -F2B
  6. Salam alaykum I remember hearing about ahadith in which the face and hands are specified. Does anyone have access to anything like that? -F2B
  7. Salam alaykum Shaikh Hakim, thank you. Is that from Fiqh lil Mughtaribin? -F2B
  8. Crying much brings on much sneezing.

  9. Bump. Please help. I know that materials exist out there supporting hijab.
  10. Is the Mizan online that far? WS -F2B

  12. OYY. Please do not refer to other than actual slavery as "slavery." There are people around today who have been enslaved or trafficked; and it puts stress on their mental health to have the word come up out of nowhere. (It is called a trigger, and it exacerbates one's PTSD symptoms.) wasalam -Freedom
  13. Salam alaykum, all I am wondering whether any of our scholars have used the word "fisq" to refer to homosexuality. I have tried YouTube but honestly do NOT have the patience for it. (I never have.) In addition, I have clicked Ayatullah Sayyid Abdul Husayn Dastghaib Shirazi's text "Greater Sins" to look around there. Even so, any help in connecting me to a scholarly work in which the author or speaker uses the word "fisq" to describe homosexuality would be welcome - including any references to "Greater Sins." After all, two minds are better than one. Thank you! -Freedom
