  1. rhabn you so much. I will try these in the morning when I get back to my office.
  2. Yeah I'm using wifi. The wifi is on but when i try to connect it says there is no internet connection and when I try to diagnose the problem I get a message saying network protocols are missing on the computer
  3. I also had another problem with a dell. Maybe you can help? I downloaded Windows 10 and now I can't connect to the Internet. Any advice?
  4. I have an hp computer and it has been really slow lately. I don't know if it's a virus or what the problem could be. Can anyone give some advice as to what I can do.
  5. I have had some medical issues since my son was born and my doctor ordered some ultrasounds to determine what step we may need to take next. I of course didn't wait for the advice my doctor will give me on my next appointment and decided to look up my options for treatment on my own causing me to worry myself. One of them would be to perform a D&C procedure. I am going crazy worrying myself about things that could go wrong if this is the route my docotor suggests on the next visit. Especially not being able to have children anymore because I would like to have more babies down the line. So I was wondering if anyone has gone through it or some other procedure and could help ease my mind.
  6. I tend to bite my nails when I get nervous so by having painted nails it prevents me from doing it because I don't want to mess them up. When I found out I was pregnant I had to change my ways and I reajusted my budget and stopped spending as much money on unecessary things. Especially polish. It's crazy to have to take it on and put it on before and after prayers. Now with a healthier diet my hair and nails are soooo much healthier and I don't feel the need to wear polish for them to look pretty. I'll buff them most of the time. And paint them for special occasions. Sometimes I use the stickers you press on instead of actually painting them. Whatever is fastest is best for me. My son, school and work don't leave me much time to try and pamper myself so if I can get five minutes I'll take them.
  7. Just wanted to share this. http://m.mic.com/articles/106442/australians-show-the-world-exactly-how-to-respond-to-terrorism-with-ill-ride-with-you
  8. With a 6 month old, school and work it's not always easy finding time to have a full on beauty ritual. I tend to keep everything simple lately. With the cold wether my skin gets very dry so one product I can't live without is my moisturizer. I had to try several ones before finding one I liked on myself. If you go to sephora and ask for samples of moisturizers you can get enough to test in on your skin once you're home without having to buy a product you might hate. They will ask if you have dry normal or oily skin and tell you which they recomend. Just ask for a sample and they should be able to make you one. Since I wear a liquid foundation every day but lately I have been wanted a very sheer coverage so it looks like my skin just better I mix it with my moisturizer to sheer it out and wear it like a bb cream almost. Since I do this every day I also make sure my face is always washed and the makeup comes off entirely when I get home. I let my skin rest from makeup pretty often too I say it's because I don't want to damage my skin too much but I think I just chose to sleep in longer instead of wasting five minutes on applying barely there makeup lol. I also use a moisturizing mask and a deep cleansing mask once a week. I recently began doing this so I want to test out these masks before letting you know what I think of them. If I in fact do like what they are doing I will post later you share the name of the products.
  9. Any shops in Houston or online stores where I can find hijabs pins undersacarves and more?
  10. ^ I completely agree. You don't get to have breaks anymore. You're married now which means you work through your problems together. As a husband he needs to be willing to let you in on whatever might be bothering him. He can't put himself and what he wants over what you want for your relationship. If he isn't willing to do that and doesn't stop being selfish by not caring about how you would feel or what you would think then I agree with Chaotic Muslem.
  11. Salam, Although the I agree that sometimes it may be used as an excuse to reject someone I also believe some girls just aren't ready at that age. When I was 18 I don't think I saw myself getting married till after I turned 25. Now I'm 23 and planning my wedding. Things happen the way they are supposed to. Sometimes you just have to stop worrying about when things will go the way you planned or want. A year an a half ago I thought I would marry the father of my baby. But after he rejected me I found friendship in someone else and he took his shahada Alhamdulillah and now we are planning for the future. I guess what I'm trying to say is dont lose hope. Sometimes it really isnt you, it's them. I've heard several stories of sisters who were proposed to several times before meeting their husbands. And what I love about their stories is that it's not even about the looks or money. A close friend rejected a brother who on paper seemed to be the husband anyone would want. Her friends and family woyld push her to accept but she didn't feel like he was the person Allah swt intended for her and rejected him to marry someone who couldnt financially offer her the same things he could. Now they are completely happy and expecting their first baby due in February.
  12. I was trying to see if I could find a list of all the mods and I found one but I lt wasn't updated. And it brought me to the question of how they are chosen. I was reading some old posts and it said its people who have volunteered to help. But what are the requirements to become a one?
  13. From personal experience I can tell you it is not easy. I am a single mom so I don't have the support of a husband to help at home. I couldn't take a maternity leave because I was the only source of income. I lived with my family when I found out I was pregnant but I had recently taken my shahada as well and my family didn't approve of my decision. Although our relationship is not the greatest they have been helpful when it comes to my son. He spends the day at my parents while I work. And I pick him up and take online classes so I don't have to be away from him longer than I need to. If I could I would be working less hours so I could spend more time with him but at the moment it's not possible. I have taken licensing exams to become a real estate agent and I've been working on getting a business started as well with some friends who are like family to me. I'm hoping that in the near future I can spend more time with him even if that means bringing him along with me to work. Inshallah I will be able to leave the office environment and open my own business so I can be free to make my own hours.
  14. How are you sister Zaynab? How much longer? Hope all is well. My baby boy is getting so big!! I tried on some new clothes on him and it almost fits him now. It really shouldn't be a surprise. All he does is eat.
