  3. In Islamic tradition it is the site where Adam fell to earth and where his footprint can be found https://youtu.be/AA8kzXDW4xk Adam's Peak or Seri Pada in Sirilanka which in Buddhist tradition is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Shiva and in Islamic and Christiantradition that of Adam, The footstep is covered by a handsome roof, and is guarded by the priests of a rich monastery half-way up the mountain, who maintain a shrine on the summit of the peak." And as mentioned in the Islamic history, Adam A.S fell on Serendib Mount in Sirilanka , and Eve (Hawa A.S) fell on Al-Marwa in Mecca, while the Satan was dropped in the lowest point on earth, a salty valley in Basra/ Iraq

  13. The Mosque of Imam Ali (a) or (the large mosque of Basra ) is the second mosque built in Islam after the Prophet's Mosque, and the first mosque built in Iraq about 14 AH after opening Al-Madina by the leader Utbaa bin Ghazwan, and it remained a historical monument to impact and known as Imam Ali (AS) step mosque of Imam Ali (a) .The reason for this is due to the visit of Imam Ali (AS) and pray in it during his caliphate in 36. And the mosque is gaining a religious importance for Muslims where they means in some religious occasions.

  19. This is the place where The Battle of Khaybar was fought in the year 629 between Muslims and the Jews living in the oasis of Khaybar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNvOSFsJtkE As Imam Ali(a.s.) led the Islamic forces to the strongest fort of Khyber named QAMOOS and when they came near, the battle was started by the Jews. One of their strongest man, Haris, attacked and martyred two Muslims after which Imam Ali(a.s.) took on Haris and killed him instantly. He was followed by the strongest man among the Jews - Marhab. Marhab faced the same fate. His body was equally divided into two parts by the zulfiqar of Imam Ali(a.s.). After this, general battle started. The Muslim forces fought with a lot of courage under the leadership of Imam Ali(a.s.). Upon realizing that they were losing the battle, the Jews started running towards the fort and closed the huge iron gate of the fort from inside. This was the gate which used to be opened and closed by 40 strong men. Imam Ali(a.s.) alone lifted and broke the gate in one strong jolt. He then used the same gate to make a bridge on a trench so that the Islamic forces could enter the fort and conquer it. The remaining frightful Jews cried of mercy and Imam Ali(a.s.) ordered to stop the battle and declare peace for them who had surrendered. One after the other, the muslim fighters under the leadership of Imam Ali(a.s.) conquered various forts of this stronghold and completed the grand victory of Islamic forces over the Jews.
