  1. As I said before, there is no death punishment for homosexuals in Quran. If you say we find it in hadith then why didn't Allah mentioned it in Quran? Why did Allah mentioned the punishment for zina and theft in Quran and not the punishment for homosexuality?
  2. So you mean that Hadiths are required to complete the Quran? Then why does Allah say that the Quran is complete in verse 6:38? Hadith is not required to complete the Quran, but Hadith is required to UNDERSTAND the Quran. Do you see the difference? Prophet Muhammed did not teach anything beside the Quran. He said that every Hadith should be checked with Quran. If it agree with Quran then we should take it, otherwise we should leave it. If some Hadith subscribe death penalty for homosexuality then you should check it with Quran. If it agree with Quran then take it, otherwise leave it.
  3. Why should I abandon the way I pray? Allah order us to pray in Quran, and the details are found in the Haidths. You have the rule mentioned in Quran and the Hadiths gives the details. I understand the fundemantals of islamic fiqh, and I have not lied upon Allah and His messenger. Any hadith that contradicts the Quran should be thrown.
  4. 1. In an islamic society Quran should be followed, correct? Everthing that contradicts the Quran should not be accepted. This is what Alhul Bayt told us. 2. For example if the Quran says 100 lashes for Zina and some Hadith say stoning, then we should follow the Quran. 3. The Quran does not prescribe any death penality for homosexuality, therefore we should follow what Quran say. Any hadith that contradicts the Quran should not be accepted. Do you agree? (I am not a follower of Quran alone movement by the way).
  5. Yes Allah has punished Luts nation for not obeying his messenger, but it doesn't mean that we should take the matter into our own hands in regards to punishing them. Yes, some Hadiths do mention death penalty for homosexuals, but Quran do not prescribe any death penalty.
  6. @Shaykh Patience101 Those verses you posted doesn't say we should kill homosexuals. Maybe I am wrong? @baradar_jackson In Quran the punishment for zina is 100 lashes if you have four witnesses. Zina is a shameful act but there is no death penalty for zina according to Quran. Maybe same ruling is applied for homosexuality?
  7. But you can't use verse 2:187 globaly because the sun will never go down on some place. Therefore verse 2:187 was not revealed to the whole world.
  8. Quran 2:185 says; "Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship" Every humanbeing with sound logic says that fasting 20+ hours a day is very hard, that means fasting 20+ hours a day is not what Allah wants. Secondly, verse 2:187 which says "Then complete the fast until the sunset" was revealed in Medina therefore could not be applied worldwide. There is no proof that this verse could be applied for example in Sweden. In some places the sun will never go down, so this verse could not be applied every where on earth. So there is no proof tha
  9. I don't see any point with temporary marriage. Why should you have temporary marriage when you can have permanent marriage?
  10. Here in Sweden we fast more than 20 hours a day and many people complain about this. It is very difficult for us if you live here in Sweden. If we can break the fast according to Mecka time it will be great for us. Allah says in Quran: "Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship" So we shouldn't fast 20 hours a day. Is this logic correct?
  11. Sorry if this question has been asked before, but does Allah want us to fast 20 hours a day? What does the Quran say about this? Allah says in Quran 5:6 that he don't want to place us in difficulty so why are we fasting 20 hours a day? Please help me understand this.
  12. Salam! Many athiest criticize the story of Noah because they say that there is no evidence for a global flood. What does the Quran and ahlul bayt say about Noah's flood? Was the flood local or global? Thanks in advance.
  13. Yes I believe Prophet Muhammad(s.w) had eleven wives, but did he have them at the same time? Is there any proof that Prophet Muhammad(s.w) hade more than 4 wives at the same time?
