  1. Why does it take so much time for my posts to appear in the forum ? They appear after like 2 days, when the post old and very few users actually see it...
  2. It is ironic that some Muslim dare to say that Abu Talib was a Kafir, and yet they consider individuals like Abu Sufian and Muawiyah as Muslims (at the end of his life). Do they not understand what Abu Talib gave to Islam ? My question to these people is: what good did Abu Sufian and Muawiyah's claim bring to the Ummah ? What a shame... When the Muslims were boycotted in Mecca, they all took refuge at the Shaib of Abu Talib...Thereafter: Anyone inside the Shaib of Abu Talib was Muslim......Everybody outside was Kafir!! Anyone inside the Shaib of Abu Talib was Muslim......Everybody outside was Kafir!! Anyone inside the Shaib of Abu Talib was Muslim......Everybody outside was Kafir!! Anyone inside the Shaib of Abu Talib was Muslim......Everybody outside was Kafir!! Subhanallah....
  3. Salam Alaykum All, I enjoy reading you guys...this is my first post in this forum and I just want to ask Just_the_truth his view on the below points: Allah seems to appoint all his [legitimate] leaders on earth. In the Quran, even a king (not Prophet, not Imam,...) is appointed by Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì: Shamwil called the Children of Israel (to Allah) and they asked him to appoint a king over them so that they could fight their enemies under his command. The kingship had also ended among them. Their Prophet said to them, "What if Allah appoints a king over you, would you fulfill your vow to fight under his command'' (this is in the Quran) So even if you say that there is no such thing as Imamat, don't you think that the temporal leaders (the leaders after the Prophet) should have been appointed by Allah ? Because it doesn't say anywhere in the Quran that Allah henceforth lets the people choose their leaders on earth....
  4. Salam Alaykum, I am writing in this forum for the first time as I would like to know your views on a matter that really makes me sad. As we all know, the Medias has always portrayed our peaceful religion as a barbaric and violent religion despite our efforts to convince our Non-Muslims friends that it is not, they don’t believe us and they actually quote verse from the Quran. Just a couple of weeks ago, a British friend of mine who was very much interested in understanding Islam and the teaching of the Quran started to show strong animosity against Muslims. I came to know that she had read some verses of the Quran that apparently called for violence against non-Muslims, wife beating, etc. I feel that we haven’t done our best to show the pure Islam to the world and we really need to have online resources designed specifically for non-Muslims so they can understand better the controversial verses of the Quran from an unbiased source. Here is the link that was visited by my Non-Muslim friend, and this website has been widely spread among the British especially after to Woolwich killing: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/ I really think that we need to take this problem seriously before life become too difficult for Muslims like in France. Wassalamun Alaykum
  5. Dear Brothers and Sisters, Salam Alaykum, I hope that Ramadhan is going well for all of you. I am writting for the first time in this forum in order to discuss & share ideas about a matter that really makes me sad. A couple of weeks ago, I had a very lengthy discussion with a Non-Muslim friend. She really seemed to be very interesting in understand Islam and the teachings of the Quran. After a while I started feeling that she had grown very strong animosity against Islam, and I came to know that she had started reading articles on internet that made her hate Muslims and Islam. Our religion is very badly portrayed in the medias and specially on the Internet. Non-Muslim who genuinely want to learn about our faith end up hating our religion. Many Muslims have read more Quran than us! They come across verses that appearently call for violence, wife beating, etc... and there is no one to give them any explanation. Please visit this website, you will be shocked. http://thereligionofpeace.com/ That's all for now, I am looking foward to reading you all..
