  1. Salam, the best way for me is to talk about what's stressing me, I either talk about it to someone close to me or I come her and spill my heart out, so far it's worked for me because both ways I have been supported in the best ways possible.
  2. Alsalam walaykum everyone, I have for a while tried to get as many people to join my group on Facebook with not much luck. I do have 338 people on there but not all of them are active. We have a serious issue here with with what's going on in Iraq, the terrorists are making groups and threatening every Shia with some pages showing a mass grave!! If you don't want to join then just please report the pages or find more pages and post their links so we can continue to report them. Facebook closed the other one and they opened this one https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1422253344658593&r
  3. Ali don't be so insensitive! What is happening in Iraq was bound to happen and its Allah's will, all those that are there are happy to be martyrs! Allah is with all those that are suffering and their statuses are higher then ours! Her father passed away and she was remembering all those fathers out there. Think before you post. Everyone is going through their own battles. You are not the only one.
  4. Al Salam Waalaykum, Itinerary, you're still so young, you still have a lot to learn. Do not argue with someone who clearly understands more about the religion than you. Learn from him instead. All the insults you have insulted him only shows how ignorant you are. This is not the way of us the Shia. I hope these Sayings of Imam Ali (as) enlighten you to see clearer. May Allah guide you in the right path and make you grow into a true Momin. In reply to some one who posed Imam Ali (as) a difficult question, Imam Ali (as) said : 'Ask in order to understand, and do not ask in order to find fault, f
  5. Meaning Nabeh Isa (saw) to the Christians. Good question Omer, I'm curious to know the answer too. The same question can go to the alawites, right?
  6. Absolutely nothing is wrong anymore. Allah has answered my prayers and I couldn't be happier Alhamdullilah. Il shokor illak ya rab. And thank you for asking :)
  7. Its when you feel full and you still decide to eat more. That's called overeating
  8. Fear is of two types: praiseworthy and blameworthy. Blameworthy fear, like fearing for ones’ life or fearing people and creatures is meaningless for the friends of Allah (awj). This is why Imam Ja’far b. Muhammad as-Sadiq (ع) has been narrated to have said “A believer fears no one other than Allah.” As the Noble Qur`an says “It is only Satan who frightens his followers. Do not fear him but fear Me if you believe.” Praiseworthy fear is fearing the majesty and greatness of Allah (awj). In this regard, the Noble Prophet (ص) has been narrated to have said “He who knows his Lord more, fears Him mor
  9. Salam walaykum and welcome to the site where you will find so many people are full of wisdom and kindess. It is most definitely the right place you came for answers and you will find that at every given chance they will help as much as they can. I have read the book Then I Was Guided and I must say it is the right book to read. The writer also has a sense of humour talking about his experiences. May Allah always guide us. Fi Iman Illah
  10. I have found proof that masha Allah PS was right and I congratulate you on your knowledge. This is to the non believers of the black magic and witchcraft! It exists. Source http://www.al-islam.org/commentary-tafsir-suratul-jinn-makarim-shirazi/merits-reciting-suratul-jinn Which states clearly that, It has been narrated from the Prophet (pra
  11. Thinking is only haram when you think the way you just did!! You can't just say you think someone is a thief! You need proof with accusations like that
  12. I hate hate HATE windows 8, everytime I use the computer something always has to go wrong, I say thank you touch screen phones! I prefer a phone to a laptop because of the windows 8. They've been awful for as long as I can remember so I doubt windows 8.1 will be any better
  13. Lol! I swear the amount of times posts come out of the subject it was intended for is countless.
  14. Well it's pronounced as dhan from my side of Lebanon. I just asked my 70 year old grandmother because you got me doubting my own pronunciation and she said dhan, just dhan no dEEhan. There is no argument here, you pronounce it with a EE and some Lebanese don't.
