    Hi Placid
The answer to your question is - 'neither'.

The religion of Muhammad  is an 'undying' and 'continuous' entity.

It never came into existence at any point in time.

It was always there even before Adam.

    Even before time began.

Known today as Islam, this religion means nothing but 'submission' to God.

    And  submission means 'FULL OBEDIENCE'.

God has always been deserving of our obedience.

This is what we should all be talking about - how we can best obey God.
This is what Islam is all about.

Abraham was not the only one who had the true religion.

Every prophet had the true religion.

They were all sent by God to preach nothing but the true religion.

Abraham, in fact, belonged to Noah's religion  [37:83].

Which means Abraham followed Noah's religion.

[37:79] Peace be upon Noah among all beings.

[37:80] Thus do we reward the doers of good.

[37:81] Indeed, he (Noah) was among our believing servants.

[37:82] And We drowned the rest.

[37:83] And to his (Noah's) group belonged Abraham.

Yes, of course it is not true.

We do not deny your belief in the first five caliphs.

The difference in our beliefs is that the first three caliphs  were not rightful caliphs.

    That is all.

    Salam,
Something like that happened to my cousin, the girl was talking to her actual cousin and was waiting for him to reach uk. My cousin got engaged to the girl but he too like your cousion didnt know that the girl has another guy on her mind. I mean that girl had no self respect, she was shameless to and said some werid stuff in arabic, that no girl with shame will say. She was planning on two ropes, she wanted to secure a marriage just incase her cousin couldnt make it to uk.
My cousin eneded everything and he didnt want anything from her not even the mahar. My father is very relgious and known, so he didnt want my cousin haq to go so he want with my cousin and got everything back.
There are many guys that ask for every single penny back, just take a knowledgable person with you that everyone knows and she will not be able to say much.
That girls family where very ashamed of their daughter and apologised for what she did. To be honest I told my mum that the girl seems werid and something was not right about her, but no one listened to me.
I think shari3an he should be allowed to take it back because she was not sadka (truthful) with him. Am not sure if she's the victum because usually must people even if their forced into something show signs of them being ashamed of what they have done, when their in the wrong.
Your cousin will find a better person inshallah, tell him to not let her have her way and stay strong.

To be honest, if he is not bound by the law of the land, considering that he has been cheated, he should not pay a single cent, come what may.
Personally I think fiqh is on his side too.  After all, she deceived him.

In Kitab al Tawheed by Sheik saduq, there is Editor note about the al-Rida saying:
"It (Qur'an) is neither creator nor created; rather it is the Word of Allah, the Mighty and High"

Editor note: "If the Quran is eternal, then both Allah and Quran, have always existed, and this is infidelity. If the Quran is not eternal, then the Word of Allah is separate from Him, and this is infidelity. The truth is other altogether; the Quran is neither creator nor created. The Quran is part of the Word of Allah, and the Word of Allah is part of His Essence, and not separate in any sense.

People of all cultures and races and religions are capable of generalising and stereotyping. I know plenty of Shia wh do that. I know plenty of Anglos who do that. I know plenty of Catholics and Orthodox who do that.

not even about that. They're still people that's the point. Jus cause someone is fat doesn't mean the can't love or be loved, they still have the same feelings, emotions and needs as others.

It is irrelevant if time existed or not.

I have not used 'time' to present my argument.  Did I?

    That is OK.

Time has nothing to do with the argument for the existence of God

    Not at all.

It applies to every argument that is based on logic.

    Sorry, my friend

you sound like kant, the idea that logic is only applicable to material world and we only can have sound judgments within the boundaries of physics and there's no metaphysical sound judgment, fyi this idea long has been proven wrong and philosophers criticized it from different aspects, but if you like to accept it, you must remember something and that is you can not talk about metaphysics, neither affirming nor denying, you can never talk about concepts like God or hereafter or the metaphysical meaning of causation, you can not deny them, no offence but you simply can be happy with your sound judgments within the boundaries of physical world, and let us be happy with our own metaphysical judgments; but if you want to talk about metaphysics, you must get ready to accept a logic and a framework of it.
for big bang theory, I'll tell you this:
    ex nihio nihil fit
yes, if you want to change the name of God to big-bang, there's no problem, you may call it big-bang, the source of everything and we call it God the source of everything including intelligence.

The caliph's plot against our Imam fails

All our  Imams were killed one way or another. Two were killed by the sword and the others were all poisoned.

Here is a small anecdote relating to our 7th Imam, Imam Musa Kazim, peace be upon him.  At the behest of the caliph, the Imam spent several years in prison. One day, the caliph thought of a way to snare the Imam and hopefully catch him red-handed in sin.

He ordered a pretty young woman to be let into the Imam's cell in order to seduce him. The jailer let the woman in, hoping that the Imam would be unable to resist her and his reputation would be destroyed once and for all.

The caliph ordered the jailer to keep his ears open so that the jail door could be opened at the right moment, that is when the Imam was in the act of sin or when enough evidence was available.

The caliph himself came to the prison to witness the Imam's humiliation and exultantly ordered the jailer to open the door at what was seen as a good moment. The caliph was simply outside his wits at what he saw.

The Imam was engaged in worship and the former seductress had seemingly changed into a pious woman, separately immersed in contemplation and worship.

When the caliph asked the woman why she couldn't win him over, she replied  'did you think he was like you'?

The caliph was disappointed at the failure of his mission and the ineffectiveness of his bait.
