  2. Well Hawraa29, that would mean you're a liar then. I am an Iranian, in fact you don't even have to be Iranian. Many of his speeches are subbed and can be found on the Internet. Not in a single speech in decades of memory can I recollect him saying death to anything. What does happen is that some times someone calls for takbir, the Iranian way for replying to that is three Allah akbar, plus death to some of our enemies. Some times when the enemies are mentioned, that is enough to get everyone to chant against them. Nothing less, nothing more. As for technology and what should and should not have been done. I suggest you keep yourself involved within your own field, which is obviously nothing technology related, since you obviously lack the knowledge to understand how encompassing the investment in aerospace is, with regards to other fields of technology in a country.
  3. The German V1 was a pulse engine driven vehicle with a gyroscope as its only input for where it should go. You're comparing what that, with an Iranian vehicle that has more than 100 censors, a jet engine, and advanced programming that allow it not only to strike and return over hundreds of km's, but target land, sea and air vehicles. I don't really know where to begin with your ignorance. But I have already told you before...
  4. I don't care whether any of you support(ed) Saddam or not. What I wish to expose is the extreme hypocrisy and lame excuses behind which you hide your hate, jealousy and ignorance. You seem to be a big fan of youtube. Use your arabic language skills to search for Bangladeshis, Indians, etc being discriminated against and beaten up in Saudi Arabia and all the other countries around you. Also I've spoken with enough Arab speakers to know just how much racism is going on in their heads. I'd also like to correct you again, there is no such thing as an "Arab race". This is something that came into existence due to pan-Arab racists promoting such ideologies so they could unify the people from the region using their language (or now "race") as basis. The people from Arabian speaking countries are from many races, and none of them is "Arab". For example, the country you say you live in Saudi Arabia is mostly of the Semite race. Moroccans are Imazighen. Furthermore there are Assyrians, Babylonians, Armenians, Aramaic, etc, etc, etc. There is no such thing as an ethnic group called "Arab".
  5. The audacity some people have. Unbelievable. I will tell you exactly what bothers me about exactly your type of "human". I have no idea how far your knowledge of your own history goes back, but I can guess what your linking capabilities are. Let me linearize the time line for you and wake you up from your one sided dream world: * We have a revolution, we call for brotherhood and unity. * We declare we're willing to resolve everything from the past so the above can be attained. * The western workers who were in Iran, before they left, have sabotaged all our important military equipment. * In the middle of the night on the 22nd of September, without declaration of war, we're attacked in a full scale war by the same people we wanted to have brotherhood with. * Saddam declares that within days he will capture Tehran, and the whole Arabic speaking world is cheering him on. * People from all across the Arabic speaking world are being flown in to volunteer fight against Iran. * In the time when the dollar was worth more than ever, their pan-Arabist neighbors transfer more than a trillion dollars for the war against Iran. * More than a million of our people die, thousands of women and children have been raped at the border areas (Incidentally many of their "Arabic sisters" were among those raped in khuzestan). * Our people are gassed, and even today we have people in the hospitals and at home connected to all kinds of equipment to keep them from dieing from the pain. * From the Iraqi POWs we capture, thousands would hold up so called images of masumeen (as) and yell crying "SHIA! SHIA!", WHILE just minutes before these same thugs were shooting at our people to kill them. Still, so much mercy was shown to them and they were treated so well, that after release thousands staid in Iran to live there, and they were allowed to do so. They have built up their lives and have good lives in Iran now. * Still having endured so much, Iran is till this day blamed for every calamity that is befalling these same thugs that attacked us decades before. All kinds of conspiracies to all kinds jealousies about the most ridiculous things, such as, Yes the following is real --> "there are too many Iranians walking on Iraqi streets" and another real one --> "they walk on the street as if they own the places", and "they own all the factories" and "they're selling too cheap" <--- even selling cheap products is something you can be blamed for apparently, etc, etc. * The Iranian infrastructure suffered nearly two trillion dollars in damages, and there are actually calls for not paying Iran back the damages suffered, YET multiple public shows of willing to repay Kuwait have been declared. What on earth? I think not! The kufan way is still alive and well among your people. You will always follow the same path it seems. The Iranians who show disgust for your kind, do it for the above reasons. Not because of some kind of made up race (NOTE: "Arab" is not a race. Just like "Jewish" is not a race, don't follow the Jewish path, people in Arabic speaking countries come from all kinds of racial backgrounds, and none of them is "Arab"). In the same way you will find that Turkish people have a very negative view of the Arabic speaking countries due to the treason they suffered during the Ottoman empire. Anyway, none of the above matters. Fools will always be fools and the righteous will be victorious. That is the end of all things. PS: You should fix the extreme racism that exists in Arabic speaking nations and their people before you start talking about other people.
  6. (salam) I would like to WARN people from listening to these self proclaimed experts on Islam. For example, Nader Zaveri and those who supposedly praise him (could be himself with multiple accounts or a group of people with an organized plan). We do not move our heads during prayers like the sunnis do. During the last rakat, when you are in your sitting position, the very last thing you do, is say: Ash-hadu Alla Ilaha Illa Allah Wahdaho La Shareeka Laho Wa Ash-Hadu Anna Muhammadan ‘Abdoho wa Rasooloh Allahumma Sally ‘Ala Muhammadin wa Aaly Muhammad Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan-Nabiyyo Wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh Assalamu Alaina wa ‘Ala Ibadillahes-Saleheen Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatuh After this, you raise your hands up until your ears and say Allah akbar, you do this trice.

    What?

Bestiality is something common (today), let alone long ago. There are many websites dedicated to this sickness.
  8. (salam) Well, I bet you can google search for a local place around where you live for halal meat. Also you said, "Also dont be stupid and silly. I dont want to know if it is allowed to eat haram meat. I want to know if there is any condition if I can eat meat that is not slaughtered according islamic laws." Yes, that is called, "Haram meat". There are two types of haram meat: 1) Meat from an animal that is forbidden. 2) Meat from an animal that permissible to eat BUT it was not slaughtered according to Islamic directions. Both of the above case are called haram meat. The Qor'aan specifically mentions under what condition one may eat haram meat. Anyway, I found several shia Islamic centers in Finland, you might want to go there during gatherings: http://www.aimislam.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1166-shia-islam-in-finland/
  9. I don't understand why anyone would become stressed about meat. First of all, It's very confusing that you keep saying, "unslaughtered meat". This means that you want to eat a live animal. So basically you want to know if a marja allows you to eat a live animal. What you want to know is if it is permissible to eat haram meat (meat from an animal that is by definition impermissible or meat from an animal that is not slaughtered according to Islamic rulings). There is only one condition, and that is when your life is in danger. For a person whose life is in danger, they can eat just enough to survive. So either eat Fish, or find halal meat or don't eat meat at all. I don't know where you live, but a fast google search showed that in Helsinki they sell halal meat at some places.
  10. Alaikom Assalam, Congratulations with finding the truth. Their anger and pain is due to not knowing, having been fed lie after lie from the media around them about us, and not seeking the truth for themselves. Most of those who call themselves Muslims merely followed what their fathers (ancestors) told them to follow. It is exactly the thing we have been warned from doing in the Qor'aan. You are a special person in that something in you wanted you to find out the truth, and you found it by the grace of Allah (swt). There are others here in a similar situation as you, some much more severe cases. Don't feel lost, that is merely a test you're going through and you will come out stronger than ever inshallah. Having seen many shia/sunni marriages myself, I have seen them all go into disaster. It really is not a choice for anyone who takes their faith and future serious (especially their future children). The cases where the woman is the shi'a, she can even become oppressed because of it, regardless of what the guy promises before marriage, it never works. The only way I think you can get through this is by pushing through. Your mother will have to get over it, and she will. Since many parents in such situations don't seem open for reason/logic, the only way to make them accept it by showing to them there is not a thing they can do to make you change and they only risk hurting their relation with you if they continue the way they do. Once you marry a shi'a man, everything will be alright. Just don't let it get to you sister. There are western converts here who have even accepted that their parents never want to see them again for becoming Muslim. Or never want to walk with them on the street anymore. Many of such parents even got over that. Either way I think the best thing is to get married, so you have some comfort to return to, to help you through the struggle. In what country do you live and what is your cultural background? I think it's very sad that the family of the shi'a proposer was apposed to your marriage with him. Just in case: Another thing I think you should know is that Islamicly, if one is a girl, the father or the grandfather has the right to object to a marriage. However, if they ever object to you for marrying a shi'a man, they would have objected based on unislamic principles, which means their objections is invalid/void and can be ignored. Another thing you should know is that you can islamically never be forced into a marriage. Don't let yourself be forced into a marriage with some sunni guy.. Say NO, and that would void/invalidate any marriage... simply no marriage would take place if you say no. I hope the best for your future, and I will pray for you inshallah. Be strong! :)
  11. Ahh... Communism, Marxism, put in one sentence with "Islam" nonetheless. The first thing that reminds me off are MEK terrorists. Not to mention a very long list of the most brutal people ever known to man. None of whom "of course" followed the true communist/Marxist path, right? ;) The two/three do not go together and it really is not worth the time to talk about it. These ideologies have died out. When it was still alive, we rejected these foreign ideologies and methods of governance. No wise person is interested in digging up this grave. Iranian scholars had written books on this matter when there were millions of 'you' around the world. Today, it's barely worth to post about it anymore. Can't believe there are still people who believe in this nonsense. These beliefs are experiments by 'the elite' to find something to put in place of religion. Their most successful experiment, Capitalism, is currently in cardiac arrest. The grave has already been dug. They're busy with many defibrillators at the moment, if they fail to reset the heart, that too will enter the museum of political history. Time for these 'elite' to come with something new for the mentally retarded.
  12. I'm against any kind of shi'a with sunni marriage, the sunni one has to change their wrong beliefs BEFORE marriage. The prophet (s) and his progeny (as) have told us time after time again that whether we marry someone, must be based on their faith, not "love". Two to five years into your marriage all these 'lovey dovey' feelings will be 'forgotten' and pushed aside for important things about life (e.g. what on earth are your children going to believe -> and NO there is NO SUCH THING as children decide on their own, they do not, take it from me, they will end up very confused children). If this sunni person does not change, you are setting yourself up for misery. I'm all for political unity, but respect is a different matter. I can not have respect for someone who follows a lineage of those who ignored the prophet (s) at his death bed and murdered the progeny (as) of the prophet (s). Regardless of whether most of them are not aware of this, which should be a hint to you that they never were interested in faith to even bother... Once confronted with the truth, a truth seeker will accept the truth and reject falsehood... confront the sunni with the truth and see what happens.
  13. You may break fast the moment magreb time has arrived. From this moment on you can pray magreb and esha as well as break your fast. However, Its difficult to say on that site since the times make no sense for my own location. The time is incorrect by one hour and three minutes. So I'm not sure what is magreb time on that list. If there is a shi'a center in your country, you could check their website for times. Another idea would be to wait until its almost fully dark. With regards to sunni times you should be weary, since they break fast too early and for us that would invalidate our whole day of fasting if we did that.
  14. Salam First of all, you should know that shi'a prayer times (and therefore also, starting and breaking fast times) are different from the sunnis. So when you are looking for prayer times, you need to look for shia prayer times. Here they are: http://www.ic-el.com/en/world.asp I don't recommend you using the website you referred to, because these times are confusing at best. They also seem to be sunni times because of the asr and isha it mentions. Now to help clear some things out. Imsak: This is the time that you may/can stop eating/drinking to be safe. Remember, It is not obligatory that you stop at this time. It is merely a precaution. Dawn: This is the time from which a shade of light will appear in the horizon. You may NOT eat/drink beyond this time. From this time on you should pray your sobh/fajr prayers. sunrise: This is the time from which the sun is actually rising above the horizon. You have to have prayed sobh/fajr before this time. If you have not done so already, your prayers are gaza. midday: This is also called NOON, the moment at which the sun has reached the highest point above your location. From this moment on you can pray your Zohr and Asr prayers. asr: This is probably a sunni site, because there is no such thing as an asr time for us. After noon you simply pray your zohr/asr prayers. sunset: The sun starts disappearing behind the horizon. east reddness vanishing: This is the redness before full darkness. darkness: This is the full darkness of the sky, isha: Again, sunnis have a separate esha and asr time, and this is one of them. real midnight: This is the actual moment of the middle of the night, it poses no relevance to us, however your magreb and esha prayers should have been done before this time. Ok, now if you go to that site I gave you, you will find the correct times for your region. You will see the following definitions: Imsak: I explained this above. It's the non-obligatory time to stop eating/drinking for when you're fasting. Dawn: From this moment on you can pray sobh/fajr prayers, if you're fasting, after this time it is forbidden to eat or drink. Sunrise: Until this time you can pray your sobh/fajr, after this it becomes gaza. Noon: From this moment on you can pray zohr and asr prayers Sunset: The moment the sun starts to set behind the horizon. Maghrib: From this moment on you may eat and as well as drink and you can pray magreb and isha. Midnight: This is the real midnight time. I hope this helps you. Another thing you should know is that sunni's use times (even among the sunnis the times differ from each group to another) that are different from the times we use. The times differ depending on where you live, but I have seen differences up to 25 minutes, so don't use them. So if you live in a sunni country, the moment they chant the azaan is not the time to start eating or praying, you need to wait.
  15. To me, you come across as someone who has already made up their mind and just wants some kind of approval of their own approach. Nevertheless I will pray for you and your father inshallah. :) PS: Just in case, If you confront him yourself, I predict his reaction would be one of the following: 1) Silence out of extreme embarrassment and he will (at least) never again use the home computer for that. It will continue to bother him in his mind to the point that he might not even do it at work. 2) Slap you, plus everything I wrote above. 3) Be honest and proud about it and do it even more and openly now (but that would depend on what he thinks about his wife).
  16. The rulings of Ayatollah Khamenei with regards to pregnant and/or nursing women are as follows: Question 761: Is fasting obligatory for a pregnant woman in the first few months of pregnancy? A: Pregnancy alone does not relieve someone of the obligation of fasting. But if she has a reasonable fear that fasting would be harmful for herself or the baby, then it is not obligatory on her to fast. Question 762: A pregnant woman does not know whether fasting will harm the baby or not. Does she have to fast? A: If she has reasonable grounds to fear that fasting would harm her baby, then it is not obligatory on her to fast, otherwise she must fast. Question 763: A pregnant women fasted while she was also breast-feeding her baby. When she delivered, the baby was found dead. From the beginning she had thought that her fasting might be harmful, but she fasted nevertheless. 1. Were her fasts valid? 2. Is she liable to pay blood money? 3. What is the ruling in her case if she did not think that her fasting would be harmful, but later found it to be otherwise? A: If she fasted even after she had reasonable fears that fasting will be harmful to her or her baby, or she discovered later that fasting was harmful to herself or her baby, then her fast is void, and she has to perform its qaza' However, her liability to blood money will depend on proving that the death of the foetus was caused by her fasting. Question 764: On delivery, God Almighty blessed me with a son, thanks be to God, and he is being breast-fed. The blessed month of Ramazan is approaching, and I am capable of fasting presently. But if I do fast, my milk will dry up, as I have a weak constitution and my baby, thank God, wants milk every ten minutes. What should I do? A: If there is a fear of harm to your baby in a decrease in the quantity of milk or its drying up due to fasting, it is permissible for you to break the fast. for every day you missed the fast , you have to give one mudd [750 grams] of food to the poor, and to perform the qaza' of missed fasts later on. Q: What is the duty of the breastfeeding woman during the month of Ramadan? A: Fasting won’t be obligatory for her assuming (a) her fasting will decrease her milk supply and thus frustrate the infant or (B) she, herself, becomes harmed by means of it. Assuming she doesn’t fast because of (a), she must donate ¾ kg of food (namely wheat, barley etc.) to a needy person (as described by the canon) for every day which she hadn’t fasted. Concerning (B), such a ruling is decreed via obligatory caution. In any case, be it (a) or (B), she must observe the required compensatory fasts. http://www.islam-pure.de/imam/fatwas/practical04.htm#Pregnant%20And%20Nursing%20Women
  17. People at work can't watch porn. Even in the west you'll be fired immediately if they see it. If he is so desperate for porn to watch it at work, be sure that he will one day come home saying he was fired (for some reason). I don't really understand your post though, do you want prayers or do you want some advise you can do something with? Your father is now watching porn at your home PC because you unfiltered the internet for him. Now I would say you have the following choices: 1) Remove the anti-filter, and if he asks, say it doesn't work anymore. 2) Keep the anti-filter in place, and let him watch more porn. 3) Install the anti-filter whenever you need it and remove it whenever you don't (yes, it's tiresome).
  18. The Qor'aan mentions three distinct times for prayers. * When dawn is witnessed (Sobh/Fajr), meaning you see some kind of light shade in the horizon. * during the sun's decline (Zohr/Asr), the sun declines only after noon and until darkness of the night * and during the darkness of the night (Magreb/Esha), until the sky is dark. If you look at the morning prayer of sunnis, they pray their sobh/fajr at a time of total darkness (dawn is not witnessed yet), and they pray and break their fast during daylight before darkness of the night (magreb/Esha). What their reason is for doing what they're doing, Allah (swt) knows, but we do what we do because it is stated in the Qor'aan and explained by the prophet (s) and the ahlulbayt (as). Hope that clear it up, if you want to read more: http://www.al-islam.org/encyclopedia/chapter7/5.html
  19. RIM gave access to the network to the Saudi Royal family, so they will unban the blackberries. They, together with the US regime, will have access to the network to read people's messages. However you should know that from all mobiles tested, Blackberries had the highest amount of radiation. You should also know that it's an overpriced piece of dump.
  20. Of course, I hate black people and I'm a racist. Let us all talk about that instead of the issues some people have here. ;)
  21. There isn't much to say, this forum is filled with Christians, Jews, Malang/Akbaris, Infidels, kaffar wannabees, etc, etc. They have been condoned since the beginning by the forum owner, and that is what made the situation worse and worse each year further. Thanks to the British and now the US, it all comes down to general belief held within national borders. I'm going to get a lot of heat for this, but here goes anyway :), also remember that not all of them are like what I say, but there are so many of them like this that it's not ignorable: 1) The largest nationalities on this forum are Pakistani/Indian, having lived there myself I can tell you that alone brings in a lot of trouble, a large group of malang/akbaris, and other strange sects and beliefs. Especially many Pakistani hold strong grudges against Iran and Iranians, for reasons that they only understand. Because once they tell you, you really wonder where on earth they get the nerve from and what on earth it is really all about. You'll have more trouble with Pakistanis on this forum than with any other nationality with regards to the Islamic Republic. There is a group who rejects all scholars all together, but because they're munafeq, they like to act like they support some kind of scholar and are there for his defense, but all they want to actually do is bash Iran and hide behind some scholar to stir up even more trouble. Note: Again, not all of them are like the above. 2) Then you have the Iraqis (the owner is also an iraqi), they have really always loved us (LOL). They attack your country, make 2 trillion USD in damages, rape your women and children at the border, when pulling them out of their trenches they hold up Imam Ali (as) photos and cry they're shi'a, don't shoot, after all that also hold grudges against you for the next 30+ years for the poverty they're in because of their stupid mistakes. Makes you just wonder if they understand anything about Islam at all. They have also built a web of new lies for themselves to hate Iran and Iranians, a whole list of conspiracies of Iranians taking over Iraq through xyz ways. The US is all to happy to help them with that mashhallah. Of course, none of this has anything to do with the mistakes that have been repeated since the kufans. ;) Note: Again, not all of them are like the above. 3) There is small group (maybe 4 people) of those claiming to be Iranians against the Islamic Republic. One of whom at least I know is active on a whole lot of forums and says the same things all across the Internet. His life seems to be about bashing the IR, and he was banned on an Iranian forum some time ago. So sad. :) 4) Group of koffar with their regular BS all across the forum on all subjects, but they obviously like to focus on Iran since it's an Islamic state. 5) A group of bounties, who are worse than the koffar, they like to follow the koffar for reasons of God knows why... in the 'old days' you could recognize them by the renaissance period European kaffir scientists they used as their avatars... don't know anymore, I haven't been much active anymore. I think that really sums it all up.
  22. Well I am married now, but I even thought about it before marriage and had a clear position. My wife knows about my clear stance on polygyny. I could marry a second wife and it would not be an issue. So to answer your questions: 1) I would not marry her 2) Sounds nice for someone worrying about such a thing. However that is not on the mind of a person thinking about a second/etc wife. 3) I understand, but before I married my wife I made sure she understood all my stances. If I do decide to marry a second wife, I will make it a nice as possible situation for a pleasant 'transition' to the new way of living... however, I expect her state of emotion to continue in the same as it was before (or better) since the second wife. I believe a husband and wife should always make very clear what their stances are before marriage. However, knowing women... even if you make it clear it will not matter... still though... that is an emotional issue women need to get over.
  23. Bush used to do this too... why on earth is this even posted here... are you people out of your minds?
  24. Note: The "you" in the following is either you (personally) or the administration team of this forum. Okay, let's talk about this... see if we can come to a logical conclusion. You make a valid point, but you're missing the big picture. By not taking any responsibility, by purposely forcing the end (so you think/hope) of any member openly finding a wife/husband, and by purposely not facilitating a safe place for such events to take place while this is the best place to do it, I think you have shirked a duty as a Muslim (Yes, I'm making it personal) rather than having saved young girls/boys from falling prey to sick people (as you think you do right now) you throw them in the big dark hole that is the rest of the Internet (Dubious websites and private talks). I do think the best way to find a spouse is through their mosque Imam, they do it all the time and are quite aware of their people's backgrounds. Another great way would be through their parents... however, I think many people who are looking for it online, are doing so because they might not have either of those options for whatever reason. I do agree that the Internet is not the best way to find a spouse, but I understand the need for it. You say you want to protect young women, which I agree with... but do you think right now at this moment some of the girls on this forum are not having indecent discussions with guys on this very forum in their PMs? Not only are they doing that, but they're stupid enough to send photos too. There is not a single doubt in my mind that we have a lot of the following people on the forum, and PM is their domain: * Women out for a gain and willing to ruin the life of a poor guy for some wordly gain. * Guys willing to tell a girl whatever she needs to hear to get her to: show herself on a webcam, send photos, even go naked and have sex if they can. * Naive girls all too happy to receive the compliments and take it to the next step. * Naive guys willing to believe in the innocence of some very evil women/girls we have in this world. - I've been here for a long time, so let me give you an example of the above that I assure you it was a true event on this very forum: A Shi'a girl about to marry a WAHHABI animal who makes it his business to say bad things about our scholars. Isn't this the height of desperation? In this case the girl would be more desperate than the guy... since there are probably 1000 shi'a guys on this forum willing to marry her... but somehow she can not come in contact with them??? Also logically we have to assume there are also criminals active here: * Con criminals (usually looking for financial gain) * Sick [Edited Out]s... people who will put you in a dark basement and rape you for the next 30 years, maybe skin you alive, cut you in pieces and eat you and all the other sick things you can think of. All of the above is true, there are probably even things/people that I can not think of. However, the following questions are what it is all about with regards to responsibility: 1) Do you think none of the above will continue to happen in private if you do not facilitate them with a matrimonial forum? 2) Do you think you will worsen the situation in any way? 3) Do you think that none of the above happens in real life (after a real life 1 on 1 match making thing by someone they know)? Let me answer those too. 1) I think all of it will continue to happen, regardless of what kind of forums this website has.... there will always be naive people and there will always be wolves... people will continue to die, get raped, get conned, etc, etc, regardless of what you do. 2) I have no idea, but at least you could bring happiness to the good people that are looking for a spouse... you could put up a big warning and advise post... some some main points they need to understand... 3) I think it's happening even while we speak Either way, it is probably one of the most requested forums on this site... you guys might want to discuss it again in the admin forum.
