As far as I know,the Jewish opinion of prophets is precisely this:they are normal human beings and even sinners:just read in the Bible about Abraham,Itzhak,Noah,Moses,king David,etc. They were all people who sinned and made nasty things;on the other hand ,the Koran criticezes somewhere this point of view of theirs and says the prophets don't sin and,if they make mistakes,they immediately realize having committed them and mend their ways.A good example of this is the episode of the so called 'satanic verses',where Muhammad mistakenly understood that the ancient pagan Arab goddesses were to be worshipped along with God;but he immediately realized it was not a Divine revelation but a demonic one.

This is a Jewish and Christian belief,as far as I know.Muslims believe that He created us to worship Him.

Is this the case only for Shias or also for Sunnis?I ask because I've read on their web-sites it's NOT required for Hajj.....

Hi,I would like to ask the following question:if someone agrees that Ali,Fatima,Hussein and Hassan were indeed righteous people who were the legitimate heirs to rule the Ummah and Aisha,Hafsa,Muawiyah and Yazid were evil doers but does not agree with theological tents of the Shia faith such as tawassul and the infallibility of the Imams,can this person be called a Shia or not?Thanks and forgive my grammar mistakes:English is not my mother tongue.
