As far as I know,the Jewish opinion of prophets is precisely this:they are normal human beings and even sinners:just read in the Bible about Abraham,Itzhak,Noah,Moses,king David,etc. They were all people who sinned and made nasty things;on the other hand ,the Koran criticezes somewhere this point of view of theirs and says the prophets don't sin and,if they make mistakes,they immediately realize having committed them and mend their ways.A good example of this is the episode of the so called 'satanic verses',where Muhammad mistakenly understood that the ancient pagan Arab goddesses were to be worshipped along with God;but he immediately realized it was not a Divine revelation but a demonic one.
