Salaam bro! I've asked my uncle who was with hizbullah brothers some times and who was in Iran also for some time. He assured me that there is no shia who do not say salawat upon hearing the name in azan & iqamah. Most of them do secretly but no one misses it! :)

And today I've heard a hadith that whoever misses to say salawat / do not say salawat upon hearing the name of Muhammad (s)... his salat is never accepted!
So I think all shias do it at least secretly, isn't it?

Salaam, brother! But as far as I know every shia say salawat in the middle of azan & iqamah upon hearing the name (s)!! And it is wajib!! Must!!
