It is a sect that was promoted by the British colonial authorities.
They are not Muslims, at least according to Sunnis. This is due to them not believing the prophet is the final messenger as well many other things.
    Fiqh is irrelevant, aqeedh is.

Mousa54321 got a reaction from Ibn Hashmi in If Only Assad Had Listened To The Protesters
The protestors were peaceful for over 6months and it started as a normal Arab Spring revolution. But Assad decided to start shooting.

Even Nasrallah said that in the beginning there was a true revolution before it was "hijacked" but the extremist, which is apparently why the Hizb is killing Syrians at the moment.

Gang beating someone for tearing down posters is okay. In fact it is good even when he's a foreign to the culture/religion.
But when a crowd beat up someone who insults sacred figures of Sunnis in overwhelmingly Sunni countries they are animals and so unlike the Shias?
    Makes sense.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57601994/syria-says-it-welcomes-russian-proposal-to-place-chemical-weapons-under-international-control/
Syria has welcomed the call from Russia to place its chemical weapons under 'international' control. Basically US control.
Whatever happened to the 'resistance'. This regime is ready to give anything to prevent an attack! Basically placing the country's strategic stockpile under Israeli/US control!
Is there anything the regime won't do to survive? Where are all the tough talk? Why are they taking these desperate measures?

His internal management of the economy is very bad! Russia has the potential of being a great industrial giant!
However, they only manufacture weapons and export oil and gas. The country has little consumer export industry a shame really.
Russia's dependence on energy export is shameful for such a country!
As for Putin he is a pillar of the resistance and a defender of Islam against Zionists.
Oh, he also enjoys excellent relations with Israel!

I guess  people living under the Iranian regime have much in common with ones living under Arab regimes. Both claim democracy, but if you criticise too much, you see the inside of a prison cell! Or perhaps the barrel of a gun. After all criticising the government makes one a liar/kaif/enemy of Allah/enemy of the nation/etc....

It is rather funny how Middle-Eastern regimes are similar in their domestic policy, whether kingdoms republics Sunni or Shia.
This is a dangerous indication for Iran. The effects with this future generation should be interesting.

Wonderful comment, comparing any government to the prophet's government is comical.

The man has stated the obvious truth.
Stating that someone that high up in the Iranian state is a zionist, say a lot about Iran itself!
Not everyone that disagrees with a certain point of view is automatically a zionist, especially when he is condemning a tyrant that has used chemical weapons against his own people.

Oddly enough, this news has been circulating a lot in the Arab social media. Rarely statements by Iraninan officials are discussed this widely.

The point made is that nasrallah said that he is intervening in Syria to stop the regime from falling. He stated that the regime cannot fall, regardless of what FSA does. As Nasrallah said the fall of the Syrian regime is like "breaking the resistance's back" and the high wont allow that.

It was thrown around? The title shaykh is common and is not really that important.

In Arabic, the title can refer to a religous scholar, leader of a tribe, an old man, someone of high status etc....

The title is not that big of a deal and is not confined to only religious scholars.

I don't do taqiyah I am not a Shia. Killing civilians is disgusting, regardless of their faith or views.  If you don't have sympathy for civilians, don't project yourself onto others.
The Hizb knew what it was getting into by going into Syria. If you want to act shocked and naive, be my guest. If you get into a war, of course you will have causalities. Since day one of Hizb's involvement people expected this. That is why  Nasrallah has stressed that any fighting or revenge towards the Hizb should be carried in Syria not in Lebanon.
Revenge was expected. Attempts to make it happen in Syria have failed.

Such an incompetent government, they can't even protect their jails or keep people in them.
These prisoners will be responsible for hundreds of future explosions in Iraq and elsewhere, and the government takes full responsibility for not being able to keep them behind bars.

These jails were close to the capital! How can they be so ill protected.

Mousa54321 got a reaction from Golden-crowned in Sanctions: Iranian Industry Suffer
Car production in Iran is down by about 50% in the first quarter this year due to sanctions. As sanctions have increased the price of raw material and decreased the availability of foreign currency, it has also weakened domestic demand.

The Iranian car industry is mainly for the domestic market and exports very little due to the lack of competitiveness and trade sanctions. In the first quarter it has exported 1.126 cars worth a total of 9 million USD

Mousa54321 got a reaction from Abul Hussain Hassani in Why Sunnis Love The Enemies Of Prophet (So Much)
"Did they Forgive the Prophet for bringing Islam to the people"?
Islam clears the sins committed before it.
Omar, Khalid, and Muawiah have spread Islam to the world.
Sunnis love the people who brought Islam to them, the ones that taught them their religion. In most Sunni-muslim countries there is  Sahabi or a tab'i name that is known for bringing Islam to that country. For example, in Egypt it is Omar ibn al A'as (under the leadership of Umar bin Al-Kattab). Egyptians still remember Ibn al A'as for bringing Islam to them and for being their first muslim ruler and they are very grateful for both men for bringing Islam to them.
