  1. Salam, Once again I am back with the same question that I had asked some months ago. Can someone please suggest me how to send donations for Syrians? If any Syrian reading this and has some contacts in SYRIA then please send me a private message. If not then kindly suggest me a Shia (only) organization based in Syria/Lebanon. Many Thanks. John
  2. Brother Mahdi Thank you so much for the link you have shared but I don't know I am still confused about my ghusl method.
  3. Thank you so much for your reply brother King. Actually I forgot to mention this but I do step out of a water a bit after washing my right side but Thank you for mentioning that. The reason I got suspicious on my ghusl procedure is because it is said that as soon as the person is in the shower then he/she should enter his/her head+neck and wash that first. Then the right side and then the left side of the body. So I was thinking what if there are impurities on the body? Should I not PAK my body first in this case? or even I have no impurities on my body but I just want to wash my body first and in the end perform Ghusl-e-Tartibi? This is what I was told that first we should take a normal bath like wash our whole body and remove any impurities if any and once done then we are ready to perform Ghusl-e-Tartibi. Please correct me if I am wrong and once again Thank you so much for your reply. Kind Regards John
  4. Moments ago I was reading about issues related to Ghusl-e-Tartibi but then I realized that may be, just may be I am doing my both ghusls (wajib and janabt) in a wrong manner. Therefore I thought I should post ''MY METHOD'' of ghusl-e-tartibi here so some brother would correct me if founds any mistakes. As the matter is of extreme importance therefore I hope you will not mind my lengthy details. 1. First I open the shower mixer and while standing under the water I wash my body from head to toes. 2. Then I shampoo my hairs and wash my whole body like arms, chest, legs etc with the shower gel and then in the end I wash my genitals with soap/gel. Once I make sure that I have removed all the impurities from my body then, 3. I step aside for a second from the running shower and then make my Niyyah for ghusl-e-wajib or janabat. 4. After that I put my head plus my neck under the shower and wash both until water reaches into my hairs and skin. 5. Then I wash my right side of the body including some portion from my left side under the shower plus I wash my genitals as the water runs through whole right side till it reaches the toes and under the foot. 6. Then I I wash my left side including some portion of my right side and again wash my genitals till the water reaches the toes and under my foot. This is how I have been performing my ghusl-e-tartibi and I really truly hope I do it right but if not then I seek forgiveness from Allah SUBHAHAHU WA TA'ALA. I have two more questions to ask but I will ask those once I get some replies on this. Thank you so much for your time, Kind Regards, John
  5. Thank you so much brother! This is a good advice. I will definitely make contact to Iranian embassy first and see what they say. If they don't collect any donations then I will contact Ayatollah Sistani's office. Take care!
  6. This is the reason I posted here so if someone guide me to the right (SHIA )organization. The country I live has no Syrian embassy.
  7. Salam everyone! This might not be the right place to ask this here but I am planning to donate some amount for people in Syria but I don't know whom I should contact. I would really appreciate if someone can suggest me either a humanitarian group or other trusted organization collecting donations for people in Syria. Many Thanks
  8. Salam and peace to everyone! Once upon a time in my childhood I heard from an aalim during a majlis that the mankind despite achieving marvelous achievements in science and technology has failed to invent any device that can detect or identify a potential terrorist. Though there are lie detectors but their authenticity is always questionable and a trained terrorist can easily deceive those during interrogations. According to allama only and the only way to identify a potential terrorist is to ask him about his opinions on the "Walaya of IMAM ALI A.S and HIS position in Islam". If the face of that person who is to be interrogated blush and shows signs of happiness upon hearing the name of IMAM ALI A.S then it is possible he is not a true suspect. But if his face starts to pale or if he instantly rejects walaya of IMAM ALI A.S then it is highly possible that he is involved in terrorism related activities either directly or indirectly. Based on this, I would like to ask your opinions on this and how you see this. If you agree then do you think asking such questions about MUHAMMAD O AALE MUHAMMAD and specifically about IMAM ALI A.S can help police interrogators in determining the right state of mind of a person. P.s: Any suggestions and opinions would be highly appreciated. Probably I can use any of your useful suggestions and possibly can deliver to the authorities of my country here in the EU. Best Regards John
  9. Thank you colargol. At the moment I am actually focusing on explaining her the knowledge of GOD and general basic concepts. I am well aware of the fact that some Muslim groups(Salafis, Sunnis etc) tries very hard to explain everything about Islam when a non Muslim eventually only sits with them over a coffee table. They desperately wish and expect non Muslims to be converted to Islam in only hours without realizing that they are actually pushing the person away from the religion. But Thanks to Almighty GOD because my faith rely on the love and the HOUSE of AHLULBAYT A.S thus I am blessed with the sense of understanding and respecting others beliefs. Therefore I am making only a slow yet moderate attempt to introduce my religion to my wife. I completely agree with you that only by the will of GOD and IMAM MAHDI A.S that she will be guided towards Islam (INSHAHALLAH). Once again Thank you so much for your time and of course for the pray. May Allah bless you and your family as well.
  10. Thank you YA13, for your reply. It's actually amazing that we are in the same country and I am certain you share the same ethnicity as my wife do. You have perfectly described the people's religious beliefs here and their general attitude towards the religion in this country. To understand you more better, can you please explain me about what you meant by 'using nature of Islam as a selling point'? I would also like to say that I am not a person to preach someone anything (particularly religion) unless if someone begins to show his/her interest. Of course I explain her small little things on certain occasions for instance why I consume only halal meat. She has well understood the concept of halal meat and she always consumes only the halal meat ever since we met. I will be grateful to you if you kindly share your own personal experience in detail but only if it is possible for you as I respect your privacy and your time. I would like to know what attracted you to follow Islam and what are the reasons that convinced you the most about Islam. I hope I am not asking you too much but if it is then please accept my apologies in advance. Thank you once again.
  11. Hi! I believe the title of my topic explains why I am writing this. My wife is a European born and is a believer of GOD but she is not a practical christian. I have been telling her few things about our religion and specifically about Shia Islam but I am not quite sure from where should I formally begin. As the month of Muharram is approaching I am thinking that I should take her with me to the Ashura but before that I need to introduce her with the basic concepts etc. For this I need your guidance or any useful information which you think can help me on this.I would like to hear specially from the people who have converted to Islam and of course from others as well whoever can suggest me from where should I begin? Thanks, John
  12. Thank you so much for such brief explanation and I agree with most of the things you have mentioned. I personally condemn all kinds of provocation, agitation and insults against Sunnis and in fact against either Christians or Jews also. You are absolutely right that we Shias are blessed with ''Itaat'' which others don't have at all and I really admire you for mentioning this brilliant concept. Yes, one cannot raise weapons unless the Marja issue the ''Fatwa'' to do that, but despite being killed for the past 30 years and the Shias in Pakistan being displaced from their homes why the Marjas are silent. If this is not serious than what is? What do you mean? Please be clear on your point.
  13. Yeah! Consider yourself lucky if they haven't get close to Baghdad yet. It was a universal shame for Iraqi Army to lost control of Mosul despite being 30,000 in numbers and Isis were only 800. It's the Holy Shrine of MUHAMMAD IBN MUSA AL KAZIM A.S who was the son of Imam Musa Kazim A.S. I don't understand why is it hard for some people to read names correctly.
  14. People of books? You think of me a non Muslim? I am a Shia Muslim but yes not a stereo type. And this is the dilemma we as a Muslim throw our own basket of our own garbage on non Muslims. We never accept our own faults.
  15. Who am I to sympathize Shias or anyone else? I never said or believe that all Sunnis are terrorist though we have fundamental differences.
  16. Before I begin, few announcements, I know you are not feeling good at the moment, some of you are already furious right after seeing the title and are now supposing me as an agent, infiltrator in the community or a wahhabi or bla bla bla. Please just hold your loose horses and continue reading. Don't act like Zionists whose mission is to turn and inflame every single criticism against Israel into anti-Semitism or racial discrimination against the ''Peaceful'' Jews of the world. But yes you are right, my tone is harsh, my words are strong and this is all because when I heard the news today. But wait who I am to worry about? Who gave me this right to express my anger? I should be rather eating as I am feeling hungry at the time but I'm writing this because something terrible is bothering me inside. Despite knowing the fact I am addressing to a bunch of group, no not to a nation but a group, a group of half dead people. Years ago I had realized that the Shias of Pakistan have been turned into shameless and ignorant ones. Why? For the past 30 years Shias of Pakistan have been looted and are being treated as a third degree citizens or even lower in the country. This unstoppable killing has now become a genocide. For the past 10 years, there is no sunset without seeing the blood of a Shia in some part of the unstable country. Don't assume that Pakistani Shias are poor and helpless creatures, in fact you will find Shias having strong positions in every sector of the society. Even the previous government was a Shia government with lots of Shia Federal and Provincial ministers, chief secretaries etc but during their whole tenure the Shia blood flooded on the streets more than ever before. But this is not my concern at the moment, what matters is the thought that prevails in the minds of Shia community in Pakistan. Despite all such extreme and horrific atrocities, endless cruelty and a well planned genocide you would find Pakistani Shias divided, lost and disorganised. There are 25-30 million Shias in Pakistan and they have been brutally murdered or it is right to say butchered in those areas where they have majority by 98%. But after every incident they have nothing else to present but a timely cry or an ineffective protest, zero action. The higher Shia authorities then seek help from other Shia states mainly from Iran. They have no other job left except glorifying and exaggerating the ''great revolution of Iran'' and Iran's who gives a damn which is completely understandable as they have their own problems as everybody else. Mental slavery! But in the light of recent events there is a slight change in my views over the poor situation of Pakistani Shias and that is, they are not the only one to accuse . It will not wrong to say that Shias all around the world no matter from where are poor administrators both in politics and in general as well. They are also divided, lost and disorganized. I know your level of anger has now crossed the limits. Well it's all right, I know, I am holding an injured spot. Let me clear my point. Since the rise of ISIS or ISIL barbarians in Iraq, the Iraqi government seems completely helpless to control this filthy disease. Hezbollah has already marched out from Syria and now Shiite militias in Iraq are now pulled back which is because of the murder of some Sunni leader. To me it's more like a power play in Iraq by external forces and Iran is one of them. Iran backed badr militia is the largest and well equipped of all other Shiite militias in Iraq or else where, which has it's own objectives in the region. What makes me sad and mad, is the mindset of Shias around the world. Despite being killed and looted over the centuries, they have not learnt any lessons. No policies, no action, nothing but empty emotional speeches. Shia Scholars preach to become more calm, watch the show and wait for the miracle to happen and after every tragedy the Shia politicians teach to show patience which means just close your eyes and imagine if this has not happened. I felt so helpless and heart broken when I heard that filthy scum's of ISIL has destroyed the Holy Shrines in Iraq and among many others they have destroyed the Holy Shrine of MUHAMMAD IBN MUSA AL KAZIM A.S. Like come on, you call me whatever, but where are the ''honourable'' Shias? Are they waiting to reach ISISL in Karbala, in NAJAF or in Damascus to destroy the remaining Holy Shrines. And it's not only the Holy Shrines that I am concerned about. The truth is we as Shias are not awaken, we are good in yelling and screaming that's all we can do and this is actually what we have been doing since the past few centuries. So why should I be worried for all this. I should do the same as everybody else is doing. Ignoring and sleeping. But I'm in denial and leaving you with all this. I don't cause more stress so you better give a rest to your sleepy heads.

  18. Nice question. It depends what are people's preferences, some come to EU or any other Western country for seeking asylum and than spent their whole lives living on social services which in my opinion is wrong. Rather than finding jobs and doing some positive activities they prefer spending time in criticizing Western societies in tiny little groups as they used to do in their home countries. On the other hand, I also see a large number of people (immigrants as students or skilled labours) coming to West for their better future, in the form of world class education, superior health services, social tolerance, technological advancement, freedom of speech+freedom in believing according to one's own faith and the list goes on. Without any doubt you hardly find all of these together in any Muslim state in any part of the world. Those who might have few things, that I named, are mainly for their own citizens. Not for immigrants. But this West no matter what some people(immigrants) say how bad it's system is, actually are more human than those so called ''Muslim'' states. I see no harm, living in as immigrant as it is the most natural thing, look at the animals, birds, small creatures who migrate time to time. Our PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH also migrated and so did our IMAM'S. We are living in the era of globalization but again as I said earlier it all depends on your future preferences. What you want to do living in a state of fear (Afghanistan+Iran) or a states of Cheer. Good Luck!
  19. This is right and of course it should be but is this a permanent solution? What bother's me the most is the fact that Shia's and sunni's have ideology differences, huge differences and because of that one has to surrender. For example, Saudi's sunni or wahabi whatever majority Shia suffers, Iran again Shia majority, sunni's suffer, you would not be astonish to hear the first ever '' Anti Shia alliance'' this year in Indonesia ruling ''jihad'' against Shia's. You think we can work with them? Now I am asking again and again no suppositions, like we should or what we could the point what is happening around us. Also please put no conditions like choosing those sunnis who are pro Shia's as it does not help much except keeping peace only for few days or maximum for a small town.
  20. Ayatullah Khamnei ( Rahbar-e-Moazzam ) clearly said : " Who ever tried to provoke hate in between shia and sunni are neither shia nor sunni , but culprit of Anti Islam whether he knows it or not " You see, I asked you not to mention any political statements, forgive me for this but quotes like the above one sounds very nice and felt warm but it takes few hours to forget it and an small incident to destroy it. And please I am not intended to provoke Shia, sunni ''unity,'' but where is this mysterious unity, tell me and show me at national level, please no street examples.
  21. Hi, I would like to ask you to please define the religion of those who martyred IMAM HUSSAIN A.S and HIS COMPANIONS. I mean some people argue and define the killers of IMAM A.S as a hypocrite (munafiqeen) instead of recognizing them as Muslims. According to my own little knowledge and some bits of sense, I believe that those who martyred IMAM HUSSAIN A.S and HIS companions were also ''Muslims''(may GOD curse them all), as they were also representing their own version of Islam which actually today we can see in the form of talibans, isis, or Wahhabi's etc. And now I need your opinion about the history+current dilemma. The history of Muslims and the ISLAM, I believe is embarrassing and corrupt, since after the time PROPHET MUHAMMAD A.S died, how ''Muslims'' disgraced and treated HIS HOLY FAMILY A.S . This not only created a division among Muslims but again (in my opinion) was the message for the people of our time to recognize and choose the right and wrong Muslims. Despite what the Ulema's of both sects says in the media or in their social networks, I cannot see any long lasting unification between Shia's and sunni's and the proof is our cruel history and current situations in middle east or in other Islamic states. The majority is oppressing the other minority in one way or the other and if not it eventually appears in the form of civil wars like it happened or is still happening in Pakistan,Syria and now in Iraq. Please do not mention any examples from your neighbourhood that how brotherly Shia's and Sunni's have been living together or that they are united against their common enemies bla bla bla and also do not bring the different schools of thoughts from sunni sects. Please correct me and forgive me if I am wrong and for making such harsh opinions, I would really like to hear your thoughts and please consider yourself as you would have to explain this to non Muslims while answering these questions . Thank you for your time.
  22. Absolutely right, Ulema like this create such a hoax in the tiny little minds of so called ''Shia brothers.'' Personally I don't see anything as shia brothers, yes may be on chat rooms, in news or in fake views. We are all divided shamelessly.
  23. Indeed is a tragic day and may GOD give patience to those who lost their beloved ones. Despite the fact this is a horrific tragedy in the history of the country but in my opinion the whole nation is corrupted both mentally and morally. Not just Pakistani politicians but common people are reluctant to condemn and unable to unite against those barbarians, instead they curse India, America or Israel. This is such a supreme level of insanity.
  24. Being a young member,...(by young I mean in sense of membership in fact by age also probably :shifty:) I totally agree with you and your raised issues. Unfortunately it is a dilemma of Shia's all over the world that they are not united unlike UAE, US or UK. lol... In my poor little advice any member or user commenting over the limits using disgraceful and humiliating speech against the marjah's or other great leaders should be instantly banned. Your 2nd issue Nationalism: Honestly this one is really very funny for me. Believe me or not its not just the Shia's in fact all of the Muslims they are insanely deemed under this evil called Nationalism. In my personal experience once up on a time I use to meet Muslims from different countries living in Europe but I donät do this any more. You can call me arrogant or what so ever but the truth is I feel misfit with them because of there pathetic thoughts. I am really sorry I am not offending anyone may be its just me. If you talk to them they will tell you the stories how great there country is or how bad this (Foreign) country is despite with the fact that they are living here for the past 30 or 40 years. I am sorry to say but I think they have super self complexes about there countries and it becomes even terrible when they start living into another foreign especially European or other world outside there own. In my opinion there is no solution for it, only if they realize by themselves. The purpose of Shia Chat is to create harmony among each other I believe, not just in between Shia's which is actually much desirable but also between other believers and also non believers. Thank you for your time. Once again I am sorry if my words hurt anyone,
