سُـبْـحَـانَ ٱلله Experience could be composed with sweet memories, on which it's holders wish themselves glad tidings and it's continuity. But it could also be composed with bitter memories, on which it's holders want themselves to be distant from it and only the patient ones (Sabireen) are able to not meddle their bad memories on their decisions.

And there are, among men, those who purchase idle talk to lead (others) astray from the way of Allah without knowledge, and to take it in mockery; for these shall be a disgracing chastisement.

The nobleness of Hazrat Abalfazl al-Abbas is due to his endeavor, sacrifice, sincerity and his awareness of the Imam (عليه السلام) of his time. It is due to his patience and resistance. It is because he abstained from drinking water [he was extremely thirsty] when water was right in front of him; and during this time there was no religious or customary law that would've prevented him from quenching his thirst. The value of those martyred at Karbala is that they defended the sanctum of Truth in the most difficult conditions one can ever imagine. Ayatullah Khamenei, July 27, 2005

PROGRESS UPDATE: I just awoke from a dream (about fifteen minutes ago) where I was in an absolutely massive masjid... Bigger than any Catholic cathedral or basilica I've ever set foot in. There were people there of every background, age, and from even places like small town American Midwest. I do not know where this was, but there was beautiful calligraphy tiles all over the walls. White tiles with like a black embossed calligraphy. I had come in from the rain and there was a lecture about to start. The blonde Midwesterners excitedly began saying "HE'S HERE! HE CAME!" I knew that a prayer would start and I felt nervous and didn't want to join in because "I'll ruin it for all of you, I don't know what I'm doing" and then a man with a green shirt said "Your intention is there and you are here. That's all that matters right now." I had listened to Ibrahim (14) while I was going to sleep last night. I think something big is on the horizon here.

"Why don’t they want you to know history?Because it is a domino. When the domino falls, one falls after the other. Why do you think they don’t want you to know about Karbala? Why do they focus on the Shia 'hitting themselves'? Because they know that if the world focused on what Karbala was about, every domino would fall." -Dr.Syd' Ammar Nakshawani-

Whenever I read your nickname it just reminds me of an incident that took place in the time of Moula Ali(asws). A little boy was crying so Moula(asws) asked him, Why are you crying? He said, Everybody calls me an orphan 'Yateem'. Moula Ali(asws) replied, If anybody calls you Yateem henceforth so tell them Ali(asws) is your father. He(asws) is Buturab(asws) for a reason.

Hello everyone, I’m leaving ShiaChat permanently due to unfair biases, bullying, and unislamic/toxic attitudes. I’m sure you all know that this site is extremely biased toward women and ruthless to those who are not “perfect” enough in Islam. This forum has encouraged incessant bullying and verbal abuse to take place and I will no longer stand for this. That is why, after 3 years of being an active member on this forum, I have decided to leave permanently. This online community has failed to be of an encouraging and positive place. Instead, it’s home to those who ridicule and shame and bully others—those who have no lives and hide behind their computer screens, forgetting that we are real people with real lives, emotions, and struggles that are not to be made fun of by the Ummah. If you are a bully and you call yourself a Muslim, then you need to re-evaluate what it means to be Shia. Being a Shia is not just beating your chest for Imam Hussein (عليه السلام) or fasting during the month of Ramadan. You must be willing to treat others well, year-round, 24/7. Not just when it’s convenient. Maybe it’s time to reflect during this month and own up to ill-treatment of others.

Salam, members are reminded not to tag a bunch of members to suggest they respond in a topic. If they want to, they will find it. Don't make them feel obligated. Also, it makes members you didn't tag feel unwanted. https://www.shiachat.com/forum/topic/235061179-official-shiachat-announcements-and-honors-2019-present/?tab=comments#comment-3201557

Assalam alikum brother, do you know where the thread for Shias being killed is? They used to have it pinned on the top of the poltics thread but with the fluid system, I can't find anything. Today there was many Shias who were hanged or beheaded in Saudia and I want to post about it. Unfortunately this won't be reported or heard by many Shias and I want to recognize the crimes that Ahul Saood committed.
