May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) curse the HTS and all these slaves of Israel. Artillery shelling by the Syrian Military Department targets the positions of the "Hezbollah militia" in the Hermel district in Lebanon There will be no unity, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) have showed the hypocrites who actually sides with their leaders and did nothing for the oppressed Muslims. May God cut the mercy from them the same way they did show no mercy.2 points -

Ashvazdanghe reacted to yasiin sadiq for a topic
Should I keep my fathers name or change it. Islam is big on respecting your family and I don't know yet if I would like an Islamic legal surname. My legal first name is Christopher witch is very christian name so I want to change it to Khalid. My surname is Leverett and comes from the midlands of England. It's an old name that has been around for a long time, I may choose to keep it. what are your thoughts1 point -
Salaam Aleikum, yes you can do that. It is hard for Sunnis who convert to Shia to do such a thing because of their deep attachment to them.1 point

Lebanese shias from beeka(not hezbollah I assume) got their hands on 2 HTS terrorists. This comes after some shias from some clan infiltrated a village in Syria and the village resisted them. It's unknown wether the 2 were captured during that infiltration or not. https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/15325 WATCH: The capture of two HTS terrorists by the Shia Lebanese https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/15327 NEW: The Lebanese fighters also captured a vehicle with a mounted anti-air gun from HTS https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/15328 NEW: Footage shows the captured HTS terrorists barking like dogs and making donkey noises, after being told to HTS is known for harassing minorities and former SAA soldier and making them bark, so they're getting the same treatment.1 point -

About 1/3 of the Africans brought to America to be sold as slaves were Muslims. Omar Ibn Said was one such person. He was an Islamic scholar who was captured and brought to the US. He wrote an autobiography in Arabic where he talks about his Islamic faith. The autobiography is held in the Library of Congress. But to your point other Muslims outside of the Sokoto Empire in West Africa region could have done something. The Sokoto empire was mostly Sufi Sunnis but check my understanding of that.1 point -

The first question's answer addressed to general audience, the second question's answer addressed to a particular audience. In the first question, the responder gave answer keeping in mind that picture may be available to general public where there is high chance of getting attracted to such picture and hence it was declared impermissible. In the second question, the responder gave answer keeping in mind that the picture may be available to particular group which might not get attracted to it such as the picture of female was in magazine for females wherein there would be no effect upon the females so, it will be allowed for that particular instance.1 point -

The ottomans would have not saved native americans from being enslaved and slaugthered in mass by the europeans, the reality is they didn't care that the Spaniards were chopping the hands of some native americans who didn't work hard enough. However the ottomans not doing anything in 1400-1900AD has nothing to do with us. Even if the ottomans wanted, it would have been impossible, precisely because the Spanish cut off their route to the americas via the corridor that leads from the Atlantic to the medetiranian.1 point -

im a sunni revert that wants to learn about shia'ism
Ashvazdanghe reacted to TheWayofTheSalaaf for a topic
I personally would not consider shia to be Kufar. I do disagree with some shia practices but I don't think it puts them outside the fold of islam. I feel the same about some sunni. As a salafy there are many shia who I would be ok with marrying over some who say they are sunni even. I don't like innovation or bidah. I think alot of that comes from the fact that as someone who grew up Christian, I have seen innovation creep into Christianity and make it such a strange religion that has gone way beyond the bible. At worst I personally feel you could call some shia ahlul bidah but not Kufar. I am sure there are maybe some extreme sects of shia could be Kufar but I think many mainline shia would consider those extreme sects to be Kumar too. I have heard some esoteric sects believe Ali (رضي الله عنه). was Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) was God in the flesh astaghfurallah. I would hope we could all agree that is shirk. I really hate shia sunni contention and fitna.1 point -

The new Syrian Interior Ministry released a map omitting the Golan Heights (occupied by Israel since 1967) and the Alexandretta region annexed by Turkiye in 1939, diverging from previous government maps. -The cradle In other words, Syrian territory has been permanently given to turkey and israel. We know that they're Turkish puppets, so this isn't suprising, but omitting Golan heights is done on purpose to please America and israel. Their government has a nack for downplaying israels violations, we remeber how last month one Syrian politician downplayed israels bombing by saying "they bombed a little", now this.1 point -

Islam granted women a range of rights over 1,400 years ago that many Western countries only recognized much later. Here’s a comparison of some of these rights: 1. Right to Own Property - In Islam, women were granted the right to own, inherit, and manage their property independently at the time of the Prophet Muhammad (7th century). - In many Western countries, women gained property rights with legal reforms in the 19th and early 20th centuries. For example, the Married Women's Property Act in the UK was passed in 1882. 2. Right to Education - The pursuit of knowledge is highly encouraged for both men and women in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad emphasized education for all. - Access to education for women improved significantly in the 19th century, with the first women's colleges, such as Mount Holyoke in the USA, established in 1837. 3. Right to Work - Women have always had the right to work and earn their own income in Islam. Historical records show women engaging in various professions, including trade. - Women entered the workforce in larger numbers during World War II (1940s), but the Equal Pay Act in the USA was not enacted until 1963, and many rights related to work continued to evolve through the 20th century. 4. Right to Marry by Choice - Women have the right to accept or reject marriage proposals, as per Islamic teachings. - The right for women to choose their spouses became more recognized in the 19th and 20th centuries, with significant legal changes occurring in various countries throughout the 20th century. 5. Right to Divorce - Women have the right to initiate divorce (khula) under Islamic law, which has been in practice for centuries. - Divorce laws became more equitable in the 20th century, with significant reforms occurring in the 1960s and 1970s, such as the introduction of "no-fault" divorce in many jurisdictions. 6. Right to Participate in Public Life - Women participated in societal and political life during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, including in battles and community decisions. - Women gained the right to vote in various countries in the early 20th century, with the USA granting women suffrage in 1920. These rights illustrate how Islam provided women with essential rights and protections long before many Western societies recognized them legally. The timeline of these rights shows a significant gap between the teachings of Islam and the historical progress in Western countries.1 point -

Names are important. They influence you spiritually, and giving your children a good name is highly recommended in islam. Experimentally, it's also proven that calling something good or bad does affect its energy positively or negatively. So I'd suggest you research a name with a good meaning, and choose it.1 point -

Question 1 Is it permissible to draw a person with aurat revealed, like no hijab Salamun `alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu It is impermissible. With prayers for your success Question 2 Is it permissible to draw a fictional character that are not muslim considering they will not wear hijab Salamun `alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu If it is obscene and excites one's passion, it is impermissible. The above sentences with particular emphasis on red statement answer the question clearly.1 point -
Isnt this two istifta answer contradictory?
Ashvazdanghe reacted to Borntowitnesstruth for a topic
Well, the answers are obvious you know. One answer is general and one refers to the particular instances. General one points out to the fact that when you are drawing a picture, it is obvious that it may affect a lot of people so it is said it is impermissible. The second instance refers to a particular instance such as you wanna draw that image for people who will not feel attracted to it such as woman themselves, it will be permissible for them but not for the other section of the society. So, both are answering two different answers.1 point -
Do you speak English at home or native language?
Meedy reacted to SaharSayyida for a topic
Urdu always, especially with the littles, however, we spent some time overseas and they came back fluent in English, and refuse to communicate at least with us in anything else. They will speak to their cousins and extended family in Urdu, or as need be, but I wish it were their default setting, I tried so hard to speak only in Urdu with them all those early years, but now that they are getting older, I am sure there are bigger battles coming, so it is no longer a hill I wish to die on, and do not want to push them unnecessarily. I pray Allah guides us all, inshallah.1 point -

His wet dream will never be realized, Palestinians will not face the same fate as the native americans, not from Israel, not from the two satanic parties in America, or any other empire. They plan, but Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) plans. The ongoing destruction of the United States taking place around us creates a heavy cognitive load. I'm struggling with keeping focus on my work, but surely every thinking person in this county also is. I do not want to be killed or taken away from my family, but there comes a point in which it becomes a moral imperative to act, and when that happens, they will imprison or kill me. I'm not good at keeping quiet in the face of injustice.1 point

Abu Bakr In The Cave?
Mohammad Muazzam reacted to Aliya for a topic
Sahih bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 168: Narrated Abu Huraira: Gabriel came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! This is Khadija coming to you with a dish having meat soup (or some food or drink). When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord (i.e. Allah) and on my behalf, and give her the glad tidings of having a Qasab palace in Paradise wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble) . " Narrated 'Aisha: Once Hala bint Khuwailid, Khadija's sister, asked the permission of the Prophet to enter. On that, the Prophet remembered the way Khadija used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, "O Allah! Hala!" So I became jealous and said, "What makes you remember an old woman amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a teethless mouth) of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you somebody better than her?" Sahih Muslim Book 031, Number 5976: A'isha reported that Hala b. Khuwailid (sister of Khadija) sought permission from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to see him and he was reminded of Khadija's (manner of) asking leave to enter and (was overwhelmed) with emotions thereby and said: O Allah, it is Hala, daughter of Khuwailid, and I felt jealous and said: Why do you remember one of those old women of the Quraish with gums red and who is long dead-while Allah has given you a better one in her stead? Will you still deny what is in your own books???1 point -

Were not wondering, were constantly reminding ourselves that the elites of our former Islamic societies messed up. Almost all are saying that "ummah" destroyed itself along with being colonised. Most muslim or non muslim rulers were a bunch of degenerates who only cared about conquest, women, power and wealth. Most of your ancestors, my ancestors, the ancestors of the europeans, natives, etc.... were busy tending to their farm or low income job or slave labor for their master or serfdom for their lord. He's disagreeing with this ridicilous argument that were somehow guilty of their sins and deserve this.0 points -
