Last year when a new abortion law was passed there were Muslims all over social media criticising the law and joinging the liberals in insulting people who don't think getting an abortion should be as easy as getting a hair cut. I'm sure we all remember the BLM riots, we also had Muslims cheerleading the destruction of people's personal property and joining the liberals in vilifying anyone who tried to put up a defence...the list goes on and on.

I will say Insha Allah. May Almighty Lord hasten his appearance. In the mean time, this thought is not super exciting for me personally as I am viewing severe lacking in myself, I am not finding my self to be a tough, steadfast follower like the companions of Imam Hussain (عليه السلام). At my school, (I think I've already mentioned this), there are pride flags everywhere and people from that community are mentioned wherever I go. Not true in my personal experience,it's bigger families that were far more toxic and individualistic than anything I experienced growing up. It's the parents, not the living arrangements that defines family structure and what we will become when we are older.

no really it is very toxic. The only oils that are fine are ones like olive oil, avocado oil, walnut oil, coconut oil. Those are really the only healthy ones. The rest, unless I have missed out a healthy oil, are toxic. Other fats to cook in that are great are beef fat(halal), butter, ghee. I understand exactly what you're saying, and I agree with it. But I still believe that many people do have the 'woke' ideology. For me personally, when I hear 'woke', I don't think about racism, I think about the LGBTQRST+++++++++++++++++++ community. At my school, for example, wallah, there is not one teacher's office which doesn't have a pride flag on the door. And not only on the doors, but the flag is on notice boards, on teachers' laptops, in assemblies...it's inescapable. I know there are things like cussing certain Sunni sahabas, calling for help to Imams and cutting themselves in Muharram etc etc in the Shia -people- but not in its doctrine and absolutely not required. And this serves as a strawman argument for others. In fact, to tell the truth, a person can not choose to be Shia on their own, only Allah chooses the Shia and guides to the straight path. Therefore a person should always and at all times beseech Allah for guidance and humble their heart and always be a student and like a vessel not full so it is ready to receive more. After guidance comes the part of adherence to it through life and until death.

Probably some differences in the understanding of the level of infallibility. But I doubt it’s major. but differences in opinion on the level of infallibility exists even for prophets. From my research and attending lectures, infallibility is due to knowledge. We are all “infallible” to some degree because of our knowledge. We wouldn‘t do X or Y because we have knowledge of somethings, be it from experience or second hand knowledge. Our level of “infallibility” is very low. Sometimes we have knowledge but lack taqwa. Even when we know something is bad, we may still do it. We can still commit sins, but there is a very high probability we won’t commit some sins, like murder or grand theft because we know the consequences here and the hereafter. Also, we have hijab which prevents us on seeing what awaits us, be it good or bad, The Imams’ infallibility is based on knowledge and wisdom that Allah has bestowed upon them, it’s not as if they are prevented from sinning. They have clearer vision and can see what’s ahead.
