I don't know your circumstances, but sometimes it's better to be alone for the rest of your life than stuck in a terrible marriage. Even if you can't get divorced, if you are in danger or being oppressed, you need to move out immediately.4 points

[TRASH PIT]There is no COVID vaccine
Hasani Samnani reacted to slavelight for a topic
Views expressed and sources provided here may be false, misleading, and may not reflect proper medical science. Please refer to a licensed medical professional concerning health related issues. The Vaccines Aren’t Really Vaccines First, these so-called vaccines are not really vaccines in the widely understood sense. A traditional vaccine involves an injection either with a weakened form of the virus you are protecting against or a similar virus. Either one can produce antibodies that remain in the system and fight the actual disease if you get it. These new vaccines are entirely different. I don’t want to get too deep into the weeds here, but these treatments use experimental genetic modification to inject you with mRNA, which is a partial strand of genetic code. That mRNA then enters your cells and orders the cells to construct a spike protein similar to SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID). This spike protein then precipitates antibodies that can reduce your reaction to SARS-CoV-2 if you get it. But the “vaccine” does not prevent you from getting COVID, and it does not prevent you from spreading it to others. The spike protein remains with you indefinitely. In effect, you have modified your own genetic make-up to fight COVID without actually gaining immunity and without reducing transmissibility. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, if you’re immune to a disease, “you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.” But these vaccines do not prevent you from being infected or spreading it to others. Some have likened them to chemotherapy for a cancer you don’t have. https://dailyreckoning.com/the-vaccines-arent-actually-vaccines/ Our citizens must first and foremost define the discussion in order to accurately weigh their choices. What they are being asked to inject is not a vaccine as defined by the CDC as “A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease.” [5] Rather, it is an experimental and novel technology. By definition of the FDA [6] as a component used as treatment to affect a body’s function, it is in fact a medical device, a physical device that comes in a molecular sized package. Erroneously referring to this intervention as a vaccine exploits the public's ingrained trust of the vaccination program to solicit knee jerk response and action. It keeps us entrenched in needless debate in place of taking the necessary measures to investigate the impact on our health. DNA is, in short, the basis for our genetic structure. Inside each cell are codes which transfer its information to make proteins through messenger RNA. Messenger RNA is an intermediary between gene and protein and the protein elicits the immune response, not the RNA. The contents of this shot being given on an experimental basis is a synthetic messenger RNA that is inserted into the human system to activate the cell to manufacture, in this case, a spike protein. [7] An mRNA vaccine is not a vaccine, because it does not elicit an immune response. What it is, is genetic engineering. https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/2948521 point -

No Medium between Allah ((سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)) and His servants
Ashvazdanghe reacted to Cool for a topic
Even if it is 10% according to your poor estimates, and the person is sincerely holding the divine rope instead of disbelieving, instead of going apostate or cutting the ties which God has commanded to maintain, the following verse mentions something important about such people: وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَآمَنُوا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۙ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ {2} [Shakir 47:2] And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition. Perhaps you arr referring to the following portion of hadith e kisa: "Then the Lord, Almighty Allah said : "O My angels! O Residents of My Heavens verily, I have not created the erected Sky, the stretched earth, the illuminated moon, the bright sun, the rotating planets, the flowing seas and the sailing ships, but for the love of these Five underneath the cloak" For your information, I am quoting the following ahadith from Shi'i & Sunni Books: ( فلولاكُم ما خلقْتُ الدُّنيا والآخرةَ وَلا الجَنَّة ولا النّار ) [ بحارُ الأنوارِ 36 : 302] الحسين [عن محمد] بن عبد الله (1)، بن محمد بن سنان، عن المفضل، عن جابر ابن يزيد قال: قال لي أبو جعفر عليه السلام: يا جابر إن الله أول ما خلق خلق محمد صلى الله عليه وآله وعترته الهداة المهتدين، فكانوا أشباح نور بين يدي الله، قلت: وما الأشباح؟ And here is a video clip of Sunni scholar mentioning the above quoted hadith: It is always better to ask from those who know instead of rejecting any hadith. Collapse of Afghanistan

Unfortunately Pakistan will deny all the acts. However Pakistan will never stop interfering in Afghanistan. It will never stop turning afghans against one another. It will never stop supporting Talibans, I can even say they'll never stop supporting terrorism in general. They'll keep brainwashing Pashtun against others. They will use to Pashtun/Taliban to eliminate dari/farsi language from the whole of country. Even if its get proven to the whole world. What's the world going to do, nothing. They're not scared of being exposed.1 point -

Ideally what you are saying is true, but the world where the norm is that the single man doesn't even fear doing haram, well, that is not the world we are living in. I wish it were. We have to act based on 'facts on the ground'. The real facts. Not what we want them to be. The real facts are so obvious to everyone who has lived in the world and/ or been on ShiaChat for 5 minutes. How many topics do we have 'I am addicted to porn / masturbation' or 'I had a girlfriend / boyfriend and I want to end the relationship', etc. At least in the West, where I live, this is actually the norm. I am talking about muslims. not non muslims (non muslims have went way, way beyond this into corruption we can't even imagine). The only reason everyone does not realize that this is the norm is because either they don't want to see it or they don't want to admit it, believing that it would encourage the minority who is not doing this to do it. The topic of this thread is another proof. I have been on here long enough for most everyone to realize that I am definitely not encouraging the minority to do this, but I am merely stating a fact. So the norm is beyond fear of haram, it is actual haram. The fear of haram is for that minority group who has managed to hold out from doing haram despite the strong pull of society in the direction of haram. They are the ones who have managed to swim upstream against a strong current, may Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) continue to bless them. The only way you can go forward toward a goal, either as an individual or a society, if first recognizing where you are (really) at currently. This is where we are at, unfortunately. We now need to figure out how to move forward.1 point -
Can't have good akhlaq no matter what
Ashvazdanghe reacted to Ehsan for a topic
Salam, Correct me if I'm wrong but it feels from your post that deep inside there is a great hole, an anguish, that you have left as is, it has grown and with it a frustration inside you that are is triggered by the smallest of events from the outside. The truth is that the majority of things that happens on the outside that we are disturbed by, in reality are things that are inside us that we dislike, and when we see it in others, our reaction is stronger. This occurs more with family members since you are similar to each other in some areas. The hole is there for a reason. The anguish wants to pull you somewhere. Rumi said something along the lines of: At the end, the heart is tired of everything except the spiritual path to God. When you are at inner peace, nothing on the outside can disturb it. Look at Imam Hossein(A) on the fields of Karbala - the Maqtal says that the more he was tested, the more his noor radiated! Now you're there, your friends have fallen, your family members, one by one - yet you shine! You are serene! You are powerful! You take one step forth, the entire army of darkness leaps back! First practical step: Find one moment during the day and make a khalwa. Go by yourself in some peaceful area, shut out all the external stress and sit for 5 minutes. Connect with God. Talk with Him. Remember all the blessings you have been given. Ask to become better. Make a tawassul. Feel that peace. Then go back. You need to find a reset point that you can go back to. For example for a dying or very sick person it is mustahab to place him in the mehrab (his praying area) because he fill find calmness there. Believe me: you cannot run the battlefield. Because its inside you. Wherever you go, there will be something to disturb you. To quote a Hadith: even if you are on a piece of wood on the vast sea, God will appoint a Satan there to annoy you. In reality He will make the inside of you manifest on the outside.1 point -

I would recommend you listen to words of your parents carefully. When we are usually all we can think of is future that is usually too idealistic and your parents have seen this themselves.I would not outright throw their suggestions just because they told you to do it. Try to convince them and let them do the same with rational arguments then see with a clear mind what is the right path for you.1 point -

The sons of Imam Sajjad against the Twelver narrative: No designation!
Labyika ya Khamenei reacted to Cool for a topic
You are displaying nothing but contradictions. This statement clearly indicates that the bequest was to Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) as it was for his father, uncle and grandfather, by appointment from God Almighty, so he (peace be upon him) is one of the guardians whom God chose for leadership and was established for them by divine choice. One statement has made your argument naught. Whatever you bring is of no use while your own books contains this evidence for twelve imams: Reflect on his saying: God’s proof over His creation and the safety of the people of the earth. Wassalam!!0 points -
So this is a big change from "ask no one for help" to "ask ALIVE people for help". So technically it would be okay for me to ask Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام) for help because I believe him to be alive?0 points
