  1. Salam - hope you are doing well ? just wanted to ask if anyone one has any advice ? Or experience they wanted to share in regards to finding someone to get married too ? any Amal’s ? And preparations on how find someone and how to know more importantly the person is the correct person for you ? I have started working out, reading, growing etc. Alhamduillah I have a decent career and am ready to take on this new responsibility... and a intellectual companionship doesn’t sound too bad either haha Just wanted any advice on someone who has been in my shoes ? Any Amal’s ? also how does one stay patient during this period ? I asked my mother for help to find someone but she mentioned it might take a year or two. are soulmates a thing in Islam ? I don’t think I’m actively actively seeking ... but I really do want to be married as soon as possible. I haven’t ever been with someone (halal or haram) so I want someone who hasn’t either but people tell me “my standard are too high” and this could cause it to be basically impossible. Any opinions ? Thanks

  2. I wouldn't call them 'extreme Shia' rather they are deviants because they have moved away from Shiism There is a good overview of ghuluw and what our aimmah have said about it here (you need to scroll down): https://www.al-islam.org/imamate-and-imams-ayatullah-ibrahim-amini/chapter-2-ahlul-bayt-quran-and-traditions

  3. Heretic are those who give extreme impropriety attributes and belief about the Imams such that they attribute them qualities of God. Some of them in past thought that Imam is a God in flesh like how christians say about Jesus. Some of them thought that the Imams give sustenace to all creations etc

  5. Salam, as some of you may already know from my last post, my father passed away after a tough fight with Covid. Today is the burial and we want to get as many prayers and extra good deeds and amaal to reach him. It would mean a lot if you could pray for him or do any good deeds and send the rewards to him. thank you for your prayers

  6. as-salaamu alaikum, There has been some talk lately about ghulu in Shi'aism. I am curious to know from fellow Shia as to what they deem as extreme among some heretical Shi'a. I think there should be divisions of considering whom is extreme: 1) Those who exagerate the status and ability of the Ahlul Bayt 2) Strange and extreme narrations should also be considered from the Irfani or mystic point of view (as their language is a bit different than ours) 3) Those who are overly critical of Ahlus Sunnah folk. I would consider al-Tijani to be one of those. I like some of al-Tijani's works, but I do think he is a bit too harsh at times. In particular when discussing the Imams of the Sunnis.

  7. I have not denied that. I already said everyone got the less time. So if you are going to criticize the vaccine, criticize everyone. Atleast be consistent. Western vaccine is bad, Russian and Chinese is good is a all nonsense. What we have as a vaccine now is the best thing in short time frame.

    Zionist Regime is burning

This alleged missile strike was clearly another false-flag attempt by the PTB to disguise the fact that the IRI is actually quite weak and is internally and externally besieged by the PTB’s proxy forces. Note that not a single “Resistance”-connected source has credibly claimed or even hinted at responsibility. This itself, along with motive, is a sign that Israeli proxies likely fired the missile for PR and hidden political/strategic calculations. The false flags are just part of the run-up to a general conflagration, combined with the PTB’s support for Wahhabi–Salafi forces, the rapprochement between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the strengthening of the Taliban and Daesh in Afghanistan, the ongoing destabilisation of the Ukraine and the Black Sea, and the general solidification of the Zionist-run NATO bloc vs. Russia, China, and Iran. Basically the entire Sunni world, aside from Syria, is forming a pro-NATO bloc, including not just the GCC, but also Qatar, Turkey, and Pakistan. Note that under Modi’s pro-Zionist BJP/RSS India is ignoring the Saudi-financed, Western-directed strengthening of the Taliban and Daesh in Afghanistan. Turkey and its proxy Azerbaijan are also transferring Libyan and Syrian Wahhabi–Salafi militants to the frontline in the Ukraine and to the border between Iran and Azerbaijan. Pakistan’s ISI and the Saudis/Emiratis are supporting the Turkish effort in this field as well as in Afghanistan. Soon the Sunni monarchs will use all available pressure, financial and otherwise, to force Hamas to side with the main, pro-Zionist faction within the Muslim Brotherhood and to forge an alliance with Daesh, al-Qaida, the Taliban, et al. against Russia, China, and Iran while sidelining the Palestinian cause.

The khums is calculated on the gain or increase in your wealth. If you had 100 dollars at the end of 2019, and 1100 dollars at the end of 2020, then your gain was 1000 dollars. Your khums is one fifth of 1000 = 200 dollars. This is of course assuming that the money you spent during the year was on normal day to day expenses and necessities and not waste or exuberance (in which case the money spent unnecessarily would also have to be counted in the gain).

Important note: Listening to 33:33-34:33 of the Khums seminar video above, looks like this was the case for followers of Ayatollah Khoi. But according to contemporary maraje such as Ayatollah Sistani, the obligation of Khums is irrespective of age. @shia8

  13. First of all brother, thank you for giving a detailed response. There seems to be misinformation on the Zaydis as there are the 12ers. There is a book called 'Shi'i Islam An Introduction' by Najam Haider. That book is where I got some of my concepts about the Zaydi. Now as far as the Bukhari Zaydis or whatever they are called, this seems like an internal issue for Zaydis to sort out. How are we to know that these folk are not Zaydis since they indeed claim to be Zaydis? I knew of the brother who taught the classes from a facebook Zaydi group (Back when I entertained lame social media). So are these folks not Zaydi? I know his teacher seems to have taken up the path of Sufism through the Naqshbandi tradition which is supposedly through Abu Bakr, which is a bit odd for one who claims to follow ahlul bayt (I am not criticizing just find it ghareeb). I am still working through Imam al-Hadi's Fundamentals of Religion. The commentary on it by Imam Rassi Society is superb.

  14. This is incorrect, there are no Batris or Jarudis, they're extinct. Our Imams never adopted the views of Ziyad ibn al-mundhir and his companions. The majority of the Zaidiyyah follow the school of Al-Imam Al-Hadi i'lil al-haq [Yahya ibn Al-Hussein ibn Al-Qassim ibn Ibrahim ibn Ismael ibn Ibrahim ibn Al-Hassan (Al-muthana) ibn Al-Hassan (Al-Mujtaba) ibn Ali ibn Abi talib ((عليه السلام))]. However, this is certainly not like the broken groups we see in the history of the twelvers where we see the Akhbaris, the Usoolis, the Sheikhis, the Rasulis, etc. Those who follow the (fiqh) of Al-Imam Al-Qasim [Al-Qasim ibn ibrahim ibn Ismael ibn Ibrahim ibn Al-Hassan (Al-muthana) ibn Al-Hassan (Al-Mujtaba) ibn Ali ibn Abi talib ((عليه السلام)), or the fiqh of Imam Al Nasir Al-Utroosh [Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Hassan ibn Ali ibn Umar ibn Ali Zaynulabideen (Al-Sajjad) ibn Al-Hussein (Al-Shaheed) ibn Ali ibn Abi talib ((عليه السلام)). And finally those who follow the fiqhi opinions of Imam Zayd ibn Ali (Al-Sajjad) ibn Al-Hussein (Al-Shaheed) ibn Ali ibn Abi talib ((عليه السلام)). These four schools do not differ in Usool, and reasonably have some simple differences in furoo3i matters. Unlike the aforementioned twelver schools and their history, regardless whether they're extinct, or if their clouds are still hovering, there are absolutely no fundamental differences between our schools (of Fiqh). It is important to note that I have color-coded and emboldened the names of our respective Imams - All being from the sons of Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein, all from Ahlulbayt. As for the authors of the four usool that our twelver brothers have, it is clear that they are (a) not members of the Ahlulbayt, who claim to bring traditions from the Ahlulbayt and (b) come centuries after our noble Imams of the Ahlulbayt ((عليه السلام)). I have been very busy, however, in due time I hope to entertain some civil discussions Insha'Allah and not only shatter the unfortunate misconceptions that surround this honorable Madhab, but I will also show the undoubted support that Imam Al-Baqir, Imam Al-Sadiq, and Imam Al-Kadhim - to name some of the great sons and Imams of 'ilm and Jihad from the progeny of Al-Hussein ((عليه السلام)) showed in support of the sons of Al-Hassan and likewise their own brothers and nearest kin. I would truly appreciate it if the dear brothers can have some academic honesty and not refer to some Youtube videos by ''Bukhari Zaydis'' who do not represent the Zaydi Madhab and represent their own respective views, I have asked that they share their works with me and it is all in German. For those honest ones, who hate the way the Salafis and other groups would treat their school by calling them stone-worshippers, grave-worshippers, followers of Ibn Saba, and much more. Please do not - not saying that you are - jump to your own conclusions and mislead others through misunderstandings. We are here, we have access to traditional works, we can answer your questions and we are at your service. Please feel free to send me a private message, or E-Mail me at Halifulquran@gmail.com We also have our esteemed brothers on http://www.salvationark.com/salvationark1/ who would be more then happy to answer your inquiries as well. For those who speak Arabic please do not forsake yourselves by not checking out this outstanding site - which is the core reason to me leaving Twelverism and becoming a Zaydi. https://alkazemalzaidy2013.wordpress.com/ All Zaydis believe in the designation [from Qur'an and mass-transmitted traditions] of Imam Ali ((عليه السلام)), the members of the cloak, and their sons from Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein.

    Khums

Thank you, may Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) reward you as well! My pleasure brother. I will respond to you with examples: So for example, let's say I need to pay khums on $100. I pay the required $20 dollars khums on it and then I am left with $80. Now, I never have to pay khums on this $80 ever again, I can set it aside. To give another example, let's say I need to pay khums on a brand new unused jacket. After I pay khums on the jacket the year that it is due, I don't pay khums on it ever again. So if I understood your question correctly, if khums became due on that camping gear and you have already paid it once, then you don't pay again and again. Khums on that item is done. You can keep it in your garage forever . But I still highly suggest you watch the video. (Also, confirm with a scholar first, but you may be eligible for a khums dicount haha, meaning all the extra khums you paid, you can discount that from your next khums- but please do not take my word for it and see if this point is in the video or confirm with a scholar)

    Mutah with Ahle Kitab

Whether it's a good idea or not depends on alot of factors. Too many to go into all of them here but the main ones are First, are you in need of marriage to the point that being single is driving you toward haram (the plight of most single people). Second, do you have an opportunity to get married to a Muslima, either temp or perm. If the answer to the first question is yes, and the answer to the second question is no, then it's something to consider. At the same time, even if you find yourself in this situation, you need to be very, very careful. Try to limit your mutah relationship(s) to Ahl Al Kitab women who have good morals. For example, they don't lie, don't backbite, have a good relationship with their immediate family, and they don't jump in and out of relationships with different men on a regular basis.

  32. I reject feminism. It is a cancer that is destroying society along with LGBTQ ideology which is corrupting the minds of the youth. I do not believe women should be leaders in terms of states. I believe in a relationship the woman should follow the man. By this I do not mean a woman should be a slave, but men are leaders, hunters and protectors. Not all men deserve to be followed however. There are many weak men in this world, especially today because of society condemning masculinity and the foods that we consume which are bereft of nutrients.

  33. Interesting how you know the "mind" of God. The Quran says that the only thing which makes a person superior or inferior is their deeds. Men and women are equal before The Creator. "Effeminate" is cultural term that doesn't have any real specific meaning. What do you mean when you say it? Same with "feminism", it means different things to different people and in different contexts. What meaning are you using?

  34. Salam Akhi I also was sort of upset when I saw the lack of emphasis on irfan, but in reality I saw that Zaidism was ripe with practicality and logic. It did not rely on the type of irfan that was philosophical wordplay and poetic prose, instead it was that pushes you towards the Quran and encourages you to derive from this great book the true understanding of irfan, having that ethereal relationship with Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) who knows all that we say, think, feel in our innermost chambers of secrecy. The irfan of Imam Al-Sajjad through his supplications, the irfan of Imam Ali through his sermons, the irfan of Imam Hussein through his complete reliance on Allah, the irfan of the sons of Imam Hassan and Hussein who valiantly battled the enemies of Islam and humanity with no fear whatsoever and no interest except establishing the rule of Allah on earth. The irfan which is derived from the Holy Prophet, the Quran, and the consistent teachings of the Ahlulbayt (Peace and blessings be upon them all).

  38. I feel like the word you wanted to use was conspiracy theory. But I agree it does feel like a conspiracy. Bill gates pushing for everyone to be vaccinated, while at the same time wanting to block out sunlight. UV is used as a treatment for respiratory illnesses. Sunlight kills bacteria. Now the same people who stand to make potentially hundreds of billions of dollars off the vaccine also want to take away sunlight which naturally fights illnesses as such. Sorry, I didn't mean conspiracy, I meant conspiracy theory. Changes meaning completely. People are pushing for such theories which they don't have any proof. Conspiracy theorist began to doubt everything - good and bad, can be dangerous. Please don't be one. Dissociating from enemies doesn't mean stop all the worldly transactions. Did prophet (sawa) not had any business relations with kuffars. We work for Kafir MNCs, consume their product. The application of the hadith is misplaced. Talking about Bill gates, I'm sure you don't use Microsoft office, teams, Windows, any other products. You don't know if they are tracking you and want to kill you in some way. Same applies for Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, etc.

  39. Suppose: 180 people dies of vaccine out of 60 million inoculated. If those 60 million catch covid the number of people dying because of catching the disease would be 1.2 million (2%). 180 and 1.2 million don't even compare. It's not less, it's negligible. Exactly my point. Still you take those medicines. But for covid, you have special reservations.

Just because something is done with place A and event B by group C, it does not mean it is bad necessary, but they insist it is bad without proof that bring any high certainty, because they look A is untrusty and horrible, B is untrusty and fearful and C are evil people. This is because these four characteristic will cause any person to not trust anyone expect their own judgement and will lead to separate from society, hate for anyone who goes against them and in the end insanity. Education is the answer for this disease.
