lol @ the idea that "white people have power" Go ahead and ask the white people in Appalachia exactly how much power they have. Shoot, go ahead and ask your average working class white person exactly how much power they wield in society. This ideology comes from the same place as the whole gay, gay, gay, trans, trans, trans, queer academic types, therefore I reject it. It doesn't matter what papers they have published in their own journals, this is part of a clearly political move to completely change Western society for the worse with more degeneracy, more consumerism, et al6 points -

بَلِ الْإِنسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ 75:14 I am a fallible human being. Fighting with myself, trying to force it and teach it to recognize & accept the truth in first place and then following & submitting to that truth. I find in myself, every bad traits and I am struggling for self purification. Currently, I am witness against myself that I deserve Hell as I have not yet achieved the goal and never worshiped, thanked & praised God as He ought to be worshiped, thanked & praised. The status of my salah is that different sort of thoughts get me while I am standing before Him. I feel this as I have done the shirk. My only hope in the Mercy of Almighty Lord which has enveloped everything and the love of Ahlul Bayt (عليه السلام) in my heart. I have only recited the salawat with its true & pure intention and nothing else. Perhaps I have too killed the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and Imams (عليه السلام), I feel like this whenever my nafs was trying to stop me from doing a bad thing and I crush that inner voice and keep on doing that bad thing. I have not yet accepted, followed & worshiped the truth as it ought to be accepted, followed & worshiped. So yes, I find myself "Zalooman Jahoola", kanood, Zaloomun kuffar etc.3 points

Re OP When a US store owner employs a Latino over a white worker because he perceives the white person to be lazy and the Latio to be a hard worker, that's Racism. That's both the store owner's prejudice and power coming into play - being the store owner, he holds the 'power'. So, yes white people can also experience racism even in white majority countries.3 points -

I personally don’t engage in any form or type of non-Islamic politics, because it has no influence whatsoever on my eventual salvation. As I mentioned previously, today’s anti-fascists, just as the neo-fascists, pose no real danger to the system of established governance. All of these groups are just social clubs where people look for acceptance and some sort of a life mission. I would say that 90% of people who engage in such activities eventually abandon them later in life.3 points -
A fundamental idea that seems to be circulating around the left in their campaigns and their stance against white privilege, is the belief that within western society (the U.S specifically) an individual cannot be racist towards a white person, but can only be prejudiced towards them. Stating that racism towards a person necessitates two components possessed by the individual - prejudice and power. Arguing that a white individual irrespective of their social status will always have the power principal i.e the government or the institutionalized bias. Therefore reverse racism is a myth and the only thing which a person of a Caucasian complexion can face is prejudice. What are your thoughts in regards to this 'reasoning' and do you believe that reverse racism is indeed a myth or otherwise. Please state your reasons why.2 points

Once you add 'by the permission of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)' you have essentially opened up every possibility because Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) has no limits. To believe that something is not possible despite the permission of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is essentially kufr.2 points

Never claimed he was a Persian. Shows how little you know about Shia Islam. You can stay from whatever you want, I’ll keep to the orthodox version of my faith. You are nobody to issue religious rulings what represents Shia Islam and what doesn’t. I go by the writings of our classical scholars who condemned tasawwuf, falsafa, and Sufi mystics. Ibn Arabi and other mystics believe in wahdat al-wujud, that everything is Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and there is only one existent (mawjud), which runs against the orthodox Shi’ite beliefs. Allamah Majlisi (ha) in his Aqaid al-Islam (p. 48) writes that the doctrine of wahdat al-wujud “constitutes of greatest unbelief (kufr)”. Sayyid Muhammad Kazim al-Tabatabaei al-Yazdi (ha) in his al-‘Urwa al-wuthqa (vol. 1, p. 145) writes that “there is no doubt about the ritual impurity (najasa) of the ghulat, the khawarij, the nawasib, those who ascribe a body to Allah (mujassima), those who are determinists (mujbira), and the Sufis who believe in wahdat al-wujud since they mix the practice of Islam with their corrupt ideas and practices.” Ibn Arabi was attacked not only on the basis of belief in wahdat al-wujud, but also for other beliefs that run contradictory to Shia Islam. He, as other Sunni Sufis, denied the eternal punishment in the hereafter, which emphasise his belief in determinism (jabriyya). Sufis hold everyone to be equal, they practice sulh-i kull and consider no one to be bad, hence undermining the Shi’i belief in walayat and bara’at (Qummi, Radd-i sufiyya, p. 147). Read further on irfan and tasawwuf in Muhammad Tahir Qummi’s (ha) Radd-i sufiyya, Muhammad Ali b. Muhammad Mu’min Husayni Tabatabaei Bihbahani Shirazi’s (ha) al-Radda’ al-sufiyya wa al-falasifa, the latter is a great critique of Mulla Sadr and the Sufi belief in wahdat al-wujud. Sayyid Muhammad Ali Bihbahani (ha) completely eradicated Sufism in Kermanshah, and numerous Persian cities. He wrote a fierce criticism of Sufism Khayratiyyah dar ibtal tariqat Sufiyya. Allamah Bihbahani (ha) stroke such a fear among Sufis, that they nicknamed him “Sufi killer.” For more contemporary criticism see for example the works of Sayyid Muhammad Taqi Mudaressi (al-irfan al-islami) or Sayyid Qasim Ali-Ahmadi (Tanzih al-ma’bud...). Bring forth arguments from scholarly books instead of throwing tantrums and insults at anyone who disagrees with you. If you want to take your religion from a Sunni Sufi, and are ready to die defending him, it is up to you, but don’t expect all the others to automatically agree. He hasn’t insulted anyone, but just pointed out that we follow the school of Ahlul Bayt (عليه السلام), and not Sunni Sufism. Your censorship mentality is the same mentality that the Wahhabis have, if someone disagrees, you want to shut him down. Bring forth your proofs from Shia SCHOLARLY books why we should take our religion from ibn Arabi, Rumi, Ibn Sina, and the likes instead of getting angry.2 points -

Funny thing, you can’t ban the Antifa as it is not an organisation, it comprises autonomous activist groups that meet for protests or actions and then disperse. There’s no structure, membership or leaders. They really demonise this movement, which in this day and era is nowhere near as radical even. In the past far-left groups used to set off bombs and assassinate state officials. Nowadays they march in protests and leave antifascist stickers behind.2 points -

This is incorrect. Islam clearly defines matters pertaining to racism and race, society is persistently drifting away from Godly values and as a result we must be very weary in not appeasing a society which is constantly swayed. The Quran is eternal and unchanging therefore we refer to definitions that are consistent with the Quran. That being racism is prejudice towards an individual irrespective of the power structure.1 point -

I've seen videos of more and more police laying down their military gear and joining in the protest marches. One can certainly question their sincerity, but it's a good development nonetheless - either they are admitting that police actions have been wrong, or they are acknowledging that they can't win. I hope to see a lot more of it. If I were still in the military, I would refuse to follow the illegal order to harass and fire upon US civilians. I hope most members of the military know that following illegal orders is a crime punishable by imprisonment in a military prison along with dishonorable discharge.1 point -

Silas reacted to Ibn Al-Shahid for a topic
Lets me start by saying white cops kill more white people than black people. Black cops kill more black people than white people. Look this up. Factual with evidence. Check the statistics. This is 100% true. This is not to say the cops shooting people is okay, it obviously isn’t. But people keep saying white cops are killing black people when in reality they kill more white people. Why didn’t anyone say anything about that? Why didn’t anyone talk about the black cop that put a few bullets in a white man’s back not long ago? You keep saying “republicans” and “right wing”. However you never mention the divisive language the left uses: African-American, Arab-American, Mexican-American. They never once claim that these people are simply American. This is the problem, creating categories that give the impression that these people are not REALLY American. Those with Arab parents who are born and raised in America are NOT Arab. They are born under an American system, American social etiquette, American education and American values. Where is the Arab part exactly? The parents? The poor parents had to assimilate and learn the American ways to live there. Have you listened to one of these “Arab-Americans” talk about Arabs or Arabian life? It’s Orientalist language. And whenever one of those Arab-Americans get on TV to talk about the problems in the Middle East, all they talk about is implementing American ideology into the Middle East. The left is just as divisive as the right. So don’t bring your contemporary tribalism here. We don’t beed the dirty left or the dirty right. Learn to think for yourself and stop aligning yourself with wings.1 point -

Walaykum as Salam, the age depends on your marjas’ ruling. Ayatollah Sistani ruled that girls become baligh at around 9, and boys around 15. Other maraji’ either accept similar ages or slightly differ. You either have to get married or abstain from masturbation all together, there’s no third way. Masturbation has been condemned by the A’immah (may Allah bless them all), and marriage at young age became very ostracised nowadays due to the Western customs and norms. Unfortunately, Western laws and lifestyles have enormous influence on many Muslims living in the West or not, but we don’t go by these. Islamically, rushd (maturity of mind) is as important as the physical one and to avoid zina, one should get married.1 point -
Sjws and video game industry
Ashvazdanghe reacted to Abdul-Hadi for a topic
This is why I only play games from when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s & encourage parents I know to have their kids do the same. I have just finished Illusion of Gaia again for the first time in twenty years (very heavy SNES game in terms of thematic elements & plot). Now I have gone in reverse and started on Soul Blazer which I had never previously played while at the same time, starting a file on Lufia & the Fortress of Doom... another twenty years since I've played through that one. Having save states makes the games much more convenient and allows me to experiment with the best tactics for defeating certain enemies, so I might write my own guides for these beloved dinosaurs at some point. I don't play modern games for the specific reason that SJWs have to insert degenerate propaganda & hardcore anti-religious, anti-family themes into the modern games (likely paid by Obama/Soros to do so). as this is an Islamic forum, I'd also like to once again reiterate that it's objectively hilarious how the mealy-mouthed, screeching university SJW crowd thinks that Islam is their ally in making the society that they want. Learning about Islam's uncompromising standards on morality and the family was what attracted me to it since 2016 in more than an "academic" sense... it's an anchor for Westerners whose society has been sold out to the radical liberal degens, it just takes a little practice and adjustment. That's all.1 point -
