I disagree with the people who say 18 is too young to think about marriage, but age isn't really the issue here. You have two options: 1. Trust your father and move on. I'm sure he's thinking of your best interests. Do you think he knows you and this girl well enough to judge compatibility? 2. Arrange to meet and talk with the girl in a halal setting. Maybe you will find that your father is right, and maybe not, but you will know. A man doesn't need his father's permission to marry who he pleases, but family harmony is definitely preferable.

These are the modern day armies of Muawiyah. They will fight with fellow Muslims than take a stand against the outsiders who are pillaging their lands and resources. Even so many Palestinian themselves who benefit directly from Iranian help went to sit in Saudi lap over the Syrian issue. It is foolish to expect anything better from them.

No, usually you just build mental complexes which makes your judgement jaded and unreasonable. It can take a veeeeerrryyy long time to become biased emotionally and intellectually again. It is better not to put yourself in a position where heart break is a major risk to begin with, such as a loose relationships, to save your emotions for someone who is truly worth it and for someone who wants to commit because he sees your worth, that is marriage. At least in my opinion.

    Debating Ahmadi

سبحان الله Salam Alaikum, I ask you to read this with patience. Source: irshad.org The Death of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani (In light of Qadiani / Ahmadi record) Say: "Verily those who invent a lie concerning Allah will not succeed. This world's portion (will be theirs), then unto Us is their return. Then, We make them taste a dreadful doom because they used to disbelieve." (The Holy Quran, Yunus, 10:69-70) For years, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani attributed outrageous lies to Allah (SWT): he claimed to be Mehdi, the Promised Messiah, a reincarnation of Muhammad (SAW), a new improved Prophet, Hindu Lord, and a manifestation of God. He said he was in direct communication with Allah and claimed that his revelations were divine in nature. It is fitting that Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì made his death a testimony to his falsehood. His sudden death proved his following prophecies to have been untrue: - His prophecy that he (Mirza) will live to be 80 or more years old; (He died when he was only 68 year old.) - His prophecy that he would marry Muhammadi Begum, before his death; (He never did marry Muhammadi Begum.) - The claim (and Mubahala challenge) that Moulvi Sanaullah of Amristar, his arch opponent who had openly called him a liar and an impostor, will die before him; ("The liar will die first" - Mirza died first!) - His prophecy that Dr. Abdul Hakim, one of his opponents who had called him a liar during an open debate, will die within Mirza's life time; (he said "The liar will die first". But, Mirza died first!) - The prophecy (and Mubahala challenge) that Mr. Abdullah Atham, a Christian who had debated with Mirza Ghulam and put him to shame, will die before him; (Mirza had said: "the liar will die first" - Yet, Mirza died first!) - His revelation that Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì will bestow upon him a great new son, a sign of Allah (SWT)'s presence and proof of his prophethood; (Mirza died without having another son.) - His claim that Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì had revealed to him that he would marry many more virtuous women; (After the prophecy, he did not marry anyone else.) - His prophecy that he (Mirza) will marry a widow, before his death; (After the prophecy, he did not marry anyone else.) - His prophecy that he will die in Mekkah or Medina. (Mirza died in the city of Lahor; he never saw Mekkah or Medina.) Indeed, Mirza Ghulam's death was a sign of Allah (SWT)'s displeasure with him. He died from the disease he feared the most in a wretched condition and in utter disgrace, as he himself had stated: "To turn out a liar in his own prophecy is biggest disgrace of disgraces." (Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 15, P. 382) Let's review the record of Mirza's death as recounted by his closest followers and actual witnesses to his death. Bashir Ahmad, the son of Mirza Ghulam, wrote in his biography: "My mother informed me that 'the first attack of looseness of bowels upon the Promised Messiah occurred when he was at his dining room table. Later, I started pressing his legs and he lay in comfort and slept and soon I too slept. After a short while, he again felt the call of nature and he used the bathroom a couple of times without awakening me, After this he felt very weak; he shook me up and laid down on my bed. I recommenced pressing. In a few minutes he told me to go to bed but I refused and continued to press. Once again he had an urge and, being too weak to go to the lavatory, I made arrangement for him close to the bed. He sat down and relieved himself. Next, he laid himself back on my bed and I started pressing again. His weakness grew intense; he had another motion, accompanied this time by vomiting. This paralyzed him so much that when trying to lay back on the bed, he fell on his back and hit his head on the bed post. His condition alarmed me...'." (Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 1, P. 11-12; Sirat-ul-Mehdi, P.109) Mirza Ghulam's father in law, Mir Nasir Nawab, recorded in his autobiography: "The night his holiness fell ill, I was sleeping in my room. When his illness grew severe, they woke me up. I went over to his holiness and found him in great pain. He addressed me saying: 'I have been stricken with cholera.' After this, he did not utter a single intelligible and coherent word till he died on Monday, after ten O'clock in the morning." (Hayat-i-Nasir, P. 14) Mirza Ghulam used to say that cholera or plague is the sign of Allah (SWT)'s wrath on mankind for their wrong doing! It is fitting that his last words were the admission that he had been stricken with the disease he was so fearful of. The witnesses present at his bed side recorded: "Huzoor (Mirza Ghulam) could not talk two hours before death. Dr. Mirza Yaqoob Baig and Dr. Syed Mohammad Hussei Shah were the attending physicians. Huzoor asked for paper and wrote on it: 'I have too much dryness. I can't talk.' and some other words which could not be read." (Al-Fazl, Vol. 25, No. 274, November 24, 1937) "As his condition became precarious, we stayed by him and continued treatment, but his pulse stopped by 10:15 A.M., on the 26th May, 1908 he breathed his last." (Al-Hakam, Mary 28, 1908) We can not imagine what Mirza Ghulam might have felt when the hour of death approached and Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì shut his mouth and tongue so that he could neither repent (proclaim Kalima) nor utter any more lies. And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah, or says: "I have received inspiration," whereas he is not inspired in anything; and who says, "I will reveal the like of what Allah has revealed." And if you could but see when the wrong-doers are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your soul! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth. And you used to reject His signs (revelations) with disrespect!" (The Holy Quran, Al-Anam, 6:93) Mirza Ghulam's death irrefutably proves that the prophecies he attributed to Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì were fabricated by him and his associates. The irony is that, to impress his followers, he had proclaimed his prophecies to be the ultimate sign of his truthfulness and stated: "If what I have said does not happen exactly, I am prepared for every punishment. My face should be blackened and I should be hanged. I swear by the Mighty Allah that what I have said will happen. It must happen. It is possible that the earth may be changed for another earth and the sky may be replaced by another sky, but it is not possible for God's word to change -- prepare for me a cross if my falsehood is exposed and curse me more than the Satans and the evil persons are cursed." (Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 6, P. 293; Jang-i-Maqaddas, P. 188) "To Judge my truthfulness or lies, there is no better test than my prophecies." (Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 19, P. 288) We ask Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì to deliver all sincere seekers of the truth from the clutches of the Qadiani leadership.

    Debating Ahmadi

I debated an ahmadi once, my suggestion to you would be to prepare for their following argument: they claim that their leader, mirza ghulaam ahmad [EDIT] never claimed to be Isa, Musa, Rasool e khuda and Imam Mahdi (peace be upon them all), rather someone who returned the message that they brought back to the people. this is a subtle difference and one which non shia are completely unable to respond to, since the 4 sunni imams claimed the exact same thing. I defeated the ahmadi by focusing purely on wilayat of Ameerul Momineen Ali ibn Abu Talib (as) and reliable tafsir of the quran regarding wilayat such as [5.55], aya mubahila, tathir. ghadeer and so on. I would suggest this be your focus too. the ahmadi will undoubtedly try and divert the debate towards the reformation/ restoration of islam as Allah intended, so make sure you focus on wilayat. it will be something they cannot defeat. my argument was that the true islam is maintained through the unbroken chain of wilayat, and then the proofs of Imam Mahdi (as) prolonged ghaybah. Debating Ahmadi

    1. Character of Prophets. They are all pious, honest and they do what they say and never retreat from what they have said. Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyani first called him to be Imam Mehdi and then called himself Jesus Christ, so, he was confused about him and went back and forth from what he said. Secondly, everyone knew that he was a famous Sunni scholar who debated with people of the book during the time of British India, and contended them being representative of Islam. Soon, after it, he was approached by someone and called himself to be Imam Mehdi and then Jesus (nauzbillah). So, it shows he deviated from his path. 2. Secondly, for Imam Mehdi a.s, even according to Sunni sources, it is written that he will be from the lineage of Prophet and descendant of Lady Fatima Zahra a.s. But as opposed to this, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyani lineage can be traced back to Mirza Hadi Beg, a descendant of the Mughal Barlas tribe and Mughals are not descendants of Prophets. It is the only reason that Ghulam Ahmed Qadyani reversed back and called himself as Jesus a.s. 3. Even for becoming Jesus a.s, one has to be of Israelite built and His face should be illuminating like the face of Israelite because Prophet Jesus a.s was born in Palestine in Bani Israel. But you can see that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed was Mughal Barlas, so in what way will Ahmedi person can argue on this issue. I think, these are enough points to prove that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed was neither Imam Mehdi nor Prophet Jesus, why should we go into detail about Miraj and Miracles because earlier points are enough to prove him wrong. Even if you want that I can describe them too but I think that no need will arise for that.

http://english.khamenei.ir/news/4720/If-Muslims-are-united-Palestine-will-not-be-in-the-situation Disunity amongst muslims is a big reason behind Palestine being in the situation it is in today. Sadly, I didn't even need much evidence to believe this, I saw this link on facebook. looking through the comments and they're all talking about Sayed Ali K as a "Shia (insert whatever bad word you want here)" killing Sunnis in Iraq, Syria and Yemen. These muslim zionist traitors then go ahead and shed their tears for Palestine, when they have sold out to the Zionists by playing right into the tool that benefits them "sectarianism". We can condemn the West and Israel all we want, the main culprit here is the muslims themselves, who would rather fight the Shia than anyone else. I feel bad for Iran, so many years of sanctions for supporting a cause that frankly costs them economically, yet these so-called traitorous muslims fail to see even that. I know this is not all Sunnis, but the amount that have bought into the wahhabi narrative from KSA/Qatar and the other Gulf states, despite those states having done absolutely nothing for Palestine is astounding. This just shows you as muslims, we need to look in the mirror and think critically who our words and actions feed. Sadly, this concept is too hard to grasp for a lot of these "pro-Palestine Zionists".

Maybe not Mushriks but they certainly have had some that weren't following the laws of Islam fully. In the past and present this applies. All ? How can this be proven? Source of this ? Isn't everyone supposed to live on their own means? Unfortunately, if some can not then Khums is there in its own way. Source of this ? Why isn't luxury allowed? You must be from the Sub Continent, aren't you ?

I understand everyone may have a concern about the hijab being enforced in Iran, however my concern is if they take it off what the society will be like the "twelvies" and younger generation of our countries and we will have no holy place to go to. Whoever wants to leave Iran can leave Iran, and whoever wants to stay and be pious in Iran can stay. There are laws in every country and my point is just because of one rule (while ignoring corruption in our west) that is a rule of modesty to preserve the society everyone wants to hate Iran. This to me is not right. These people normally turn a blind eye to the western dictatorship, praise it despite the grave fitnah it has caused, and hates our allies that are friends of God. They even say "we may not be in the end of times" (and I have dealt with one who praises secularism over our countries , because of materlialistic things of wealth, economy, "security", ignoring that they (America and Israel) are the biggest sponsors of terrorists such as ISIS as well as false flag attacks , and earn all the worlds wealth , as well as this they put down a countries economy [from economic warfare] to countries that do not submit to their agenda, whoever does not submit is either at war, or gets their money put down in their country, or gets sanctioned, etc etc and whomsoever submits and accepts dictatorship and sells its country, their country immediately goes up (in most cases) and there is less of a physical warfare and the whole population is bombarded with a psychological warfare and more). As Sayed Ali Khamenei (Ha) says [and not in vain] "America is the great Satan" and we should not ignore who is pulling the strings and enjoingin the corruption today as our religion tells us to enjoin good and forbid evil - if not with our limbs, at least with our hearts. May Allah Swt allow us to recognise who the good in this world are, and who the bad really are. "Those who are silent when others are oppressed are guilty of oppression themselves" - Imam Hussein (As) اللهم صل على محمد و آل محمد و عجل فرجهوم May Allah Swt, and you all forgive me for my shortcomings or inconsistencies.

    Iran and Forced Hijab Rule/Censorship

Who cares what they think....... Why do you care what these fake Muslims even say or do? Allah commanded women to wear hijab, whether they like it or not. Iran is just implementing God's rules in its country, which is a really good thing. Anti-Iranians such as yourself find anything just to blame Iran, it blows my mind how ignorant they just are. Without Iran the Shias would be nothing.

The nurse asked me to draw my body how I saw it in the color of my choice, on life sized paper. In red, I drew football shoulders, bulky thighs, and hips the size of my grief. In purple and red, I wrote the words that crossed my mind. Ugly, fat, untoned, I wrote on my arms, my blooming stomach, across my ever-stretching thighs. While standing back, she asked me why I chose to view myself the way I did, why I chose to write those words. I said it was because I felt ugly for letting him break me down before he left me.

Not only that, but also some Iranian supported groups like Hamas mourned the death of Saddam (la) and his accursed sons, the dictator who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, and an 8 year war with Iran, which resulted in the killings of so many innocent Iranians (and Iraqis), and resulted in the wrecking of both countries for many years (Iraq is still affected today).

    My Real Friends

When I was young enough, When I had lots of friends, Some were mischievous, Some were great, In that time, when I was mentally insecure, I prayed to God, to help me through a cure, God favored me with a family, that loved Ahle bait, That was hard on me, when I rushed to a futile trait, Sometimes, I complained to strangers about my family, Sometimes, I felt ashamed to be locked in so heavily, Meanwhile, I searched for friends from outside world, Soon, I found out there is little humanity left in this sinful fold, Some, I saw calling me to indecency, Some, I saw bullying me, I rushed to house of Zahra a.s, and wept so hard, Her family embraced me, and said i am stronger than my odd, I wept and asked her, if you disliked my coming to your gate The whole house smiled said, it is never too late, In that house, I was gifted with so many things, Muhammad PBUHHP gave me confidence Zahra a.s gave me eyes shyness and shame, Ali gave me Wisdom, Hassan gave me patience, Hussain gave me Hope, Since then, I have vowed deep within spirit of mine, Not to lose that treasure, that brought my soul back into body of mine.

Western governments need to keep their society as docile as possible. fear is a great way to do this. they great this demon to threaten people, and then say "look, we can protect you from the monsters if you give up your rights to X, Y and Z. but here, have some reality TV and porn and beer and drugs and sports teams to distract yourself while you arent working away in factories all your lives making us rich" while the society is docile, they can make business deals by selling things they have no right to sell, which make themselves fortunes, with no one to try and stop them.

It is surely wrong to "PRAY" for your death. Or do you think you're from the Sadiqeens, the Purified ones? Is that no sin ever touched you, that you're calling for your own death hence closing the doors of His mercy & closing the doors of repentance for yourself? (فَتَمَنَّوُاْ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ) Instead of complaining the hardship of life, why don't you strive brother, to dedicate your life & death, turning your sacrifices & struggles into a great cause i.e., "LILLAHE RABBUL AALAMEEN".

Not everything is stated in the Quran. The Prophet and his progeny have the same authority as the Quran, and they told us how women should and should not wear. The Quran says about the Prophet: "Nor does he speak out of desire. It is naught but revelation that is revealed,"

People who are complaining really need to study Islamic Law. The government should ban everything haram, in fact Iran hasn't even done enough. They should ban those pathetic examples of hijab which can be seen sometimes in the streets of Tehran. Al-Khoei said tazir can be done on any action which is haram. Furthermore this comes under ABM & NAM. And the role of the government should be greater in that. And who cares if they hate it? Too bad. This is about the Holy Law of Allah not about your feelings being hurt and whatever.

Do you understand what I mean? If there are 99 fatwas I understand and agree with, i would still obey the 100th that I do not understand and do not agree with, because as you said what differs them from us is their level of knowledge, while your reasoning and opinion is limited to your level of knowledge, theirs are limited to their level of knowledge. Also if this is about what I think it is about, then dont dig your own grave.
