Her princess like hair so blond with gentle curls. Her heart so loving this is why it's like a devestating whirl. Forever in my prayers, forever in my eyes. Dear sweet princess, how does the time fly. My little girl times will be hard to come. Please always remember to have some fun. Pray to God and give Him your life. One day I pray to see you as a beautiful wife. Don't be sad, God knows best. Now lay do

I honestly don't think your scenario is that difficult to imagine at all. I'd say the reasons for not doing so were more circumstantial than religious. And to your second question, i would suggest asking that to any religiously observant college student, and/or young professional who at one point or another engage in discussion with room full of men. I don't see how that's any different than what a female diplomat would be exposed to.

  14. So Saudi Arabia hasn't murdered hundreds of thousands of people through funding terrorist groups in and outside the Muslim-world? Also, you seem to need a reminder that in Islam, there's no such thing as the sins of the father. What Hafez al-Assad did isn't passed on to his son. You seem to want a weak Iran only because they're not Arabs. An Arab is not superior to a non-Arab, and a non-Arab isn't superior to an Arab. With that said, the only other reason why you wouldn't like Iranian co-operation with Arab nations is that Iran is a Shia Islamic country. Being pro-Nusra, pro-FSA, and anti-

  15. A husband has the responsibility to enjoin proper Islamic behaviour on his family, and should do his utmost to ensure his wife wears hijab, since it is wajib. In terms of 'forcing' her, he can certainly prevent her from leaving the house without hijab, since that is in any case his Islamic right.
    2 points
  16. Off topic since someone already answered you but hijab isn't just a piece of cloth we put on our heads. Hijab starts from the inside and then works its way to the outside, which is why it cant' be forced. It's just not possible. Whoever is doing the "forcing" is going about hijab all wrong.

  17. From the Dictionnary: "Compulsion" (noun): The action or state of forcing or being forced to do something I think you mean "There is NO compulsion in religion" (2:256)

  18. It's not about "her body," genius. That hackneyed old copout "Oh, it's my body, I can do what I want with it" is the worst ever. Aside from religious concerns (A Muslim can't actually say, "Oh, I can do with my body as I please;" our bodies are not ours, but belong to God and are used by us in trust), it is not even correct from a biological perspective. In abortion, a woman doesn't do something to her body; she destroys someone else's. That someone else being her own child, making it doubly depraved and callous.

  19. I'm sure he was talking about abortion in situations where there are no special circumstances, like threat to the mother's health. And let's face it, the vast majority of abortions like that. Many people have abortions as a form of contraception, because the baby is a girl, out of fear of poverty, because it's not convenient (e.g. career-wise), etc. Those cases are precisely a modern-day form of burying babies alive, and one of the clearest indications of the utter decadence of this age.

  21. (salam) . Regarding the verses of war within Surah Tawbah. Are they applicable? If Quran is a book for all times, they should be able to be used in this day and age, should they not? How can we apply these verses in our lives today? Or are they specifically for wartime, when we are attacked and we must fight in self-defence? Replies are appreciated; JazakAllah.

    The Real Meaning Of Wali

Salaam brother. Lets not get too carried away. Wali has multiple meaning and where ever in the Quran it is used, the meaning depends on the entire verse. You can't pick and choose your own meaning and stick it in any translation of a verse, that suits your need. You have verse 10:62 " unquestionably the allies of Allah etc ", here " awlia " is the plural of " wali " and would obviously mean friends of Allah or allies of Allah. Other meanings of Wali, would obviously not fit in, like " Guardians of Allah " or " leaders of Allah ". Point to be noted that in verse 10:62, wali are the people to Al

The Qur'an states: Yusufali 17:71 One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams: those who are given their record in their right hand will read it (with pleasure), and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. The Salafi Imam, Shah Ismail Shaheed, has also recorded this hadith: “Whoever dies without recognising the Imam of his time dies the death of Jahilyya (ignorance)” Munsub e Imamate, page 108 Therefore, there is always a divine Imam for every age that must be recognized and followed. The verse testifies to this fact. So that Nawasib may not accuse

  27. these days niceness and humbleness don't cut it , as most men especially in the west have their hands tied and mouths gaged. It is war when it comes to such things , and soon the war will be lost . Australia will be the first to ban the :Hijab , it will lead the way for the rest of the world to follow . It has started already , just a few days ago during the election campaign, the politicians talked of Burqa ban , and not long ago illegal laws were passed to give power to police to remove :Hijab for ID purposes .All well calculated processes to ban it totally soon.

  32. I agree. There should be a system where new maraji are judged by the current ones and some sort of vote is taken. That way there would be no doubt about it. Alas, our maraji will probably never do this :'( Plus, it could theoretically cause corruption if they united. At least if they're all independent, they can only stand on their own merits instead of relying on the rest of the maraji to pull them up. Wallahu 3alam.

People should stop doing this, giving a time or prediction on when will Imam reappear is not recommended. The signs of his reappearance will be very striking that they could not be missed, the most important of them all are : Sufyani and a cry in Ramadhan. Also you should know that not all the signs that were mentioned in hadiths WILL happen despite them being mentioned, they might happen or might not happen. Meanwhile, let us just pray that these wars that tore the body of Muslim lands end, May Allah cast His wrath on the enemies of Islam who are spreading fitnah, promoting the killing of

    Astral Projection In Islam

(salam) Astral projection is real - you are essentially astral projecting (/OBE) every night when you sleep (except you aren't fully conscious of it). It's only a matter of making yourself conscious of the event (which is possible). Qur'an: Çááóøåõ íóÊóæóÝóøì ÇáúÃóäÝõÓó Íöíäó ãóæúÊöåóÇ æóÇáóøÊöí áóãú ÊóãõÊú Ýöí ãóäóÇãöåóÇ ۖ ÝóíõãúÓößõ ÇáóøÊöí ÞóÖóìٰ ÚóáóíúåóÇ ÇáúãóæúÊó æóíõÑúÓöáõ ÇáúÃõÎúÑóìٰ Åöáóìٰ ÃóÌóáò ãõøÓóãðøì ۚ Åöäóø Ýöí Ðó‌ٰáößó áóÂíóÇÊò áöøÞóæúãò íóÊóÝóßóøÑõæäó Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom
