  1. Have we properly defined "tawassul" & "istighathah" here? Failure to do so will result in faulty discussion where everyone discussing something which means different to each one. Anyway, 1. The saying of "Bi haqqi Muhammad wa ali Muhammad" is not only allowed, but very recommended in each du`a. 2. There's ongoing debate about asking to the Rasulullah (saww) and Ahlul Bayt (as) instead of asking to Allah (swt) directly. Suffice for me to say that our prominent du`a and du`a compilation such as Sahifah as-Sajjadiyyah teach us that the best way is actually asking to Allah (swt) directly. I'

  2. Sister, yes it is halal, but I can tell you this. If you want your husband to never think of marrying another women you should ask Allah(s.w.a) to help you to always be kind to him, fulfill his needs, not bother him about nonsense things, not talk about him in a bad way to other people, protect his reputation and his property, never, ever, ever lie to him, even about things you see as insignificant, and don't ask him for things that you know he is not in a position to give you. If you do those things I think it is safe to say that he will never seriously consider marrying another women. In fa

To the OP The fiqh obligation that you have was adequately explained by Qaim - however there are a few things to take in to consideration: 1) It is Makruh to enter in to a mutah marriage with a virgin woman - fathers permission or not (the reasons for that are self explanatory) 2) The Ahlulbayt (as) have stated in narrations that if a person does engage in a temporary marriage with a virgin woman that he should stay away from her private area - ie he should not take her virginity

My simple answer Jin, after which I don't want to waste my time replying to your intellectually challenging questions. This is the sort of entertainment you provide to our enemies. It is an established fact that the masses were well aware who was the Imam of the Rafida and the filthy caliphs whom you hold dearly watched every succession carefully. How these forces of fitna and sectarians fall for the European powers on every decade and century while being used........!!!!!!! I just noticed this interesting pic below on Egyptian-Shia facebook page, wanted to share! When is the time for change and when are these ignorant Sunni-Arabs will wake up? 14 centuries are not enough?

    Zahoor Is Near....

People should stop doing this, giving a time or prediction on when will Imam reappear is not recommended. The signs of his reappearance will be very striking that they could not be missed, the most important of them all are : Sufyani and a cry in Ramadhan. Also you should know that not all the signs that were mentioned in hadiths WILL happen despite them being mentioned, they might happen or might not happen. Meanwhile, let us just pray that these wars that tore the body of Muslim lands end, May Allah cast His wrath on the enemies of Islam who are spreading fitnah, promoting the killing of

(bismillah) Our Opponent said: Dar from SC quoted a narration that Al-Thahabi quoted today in an attempt to show the bias of Sunni scholars...Al-Thahabi said: This story is disconnected, and Ma'amar was no fool for this to spread onto him. (Abdulrazaq's biography in Al-Siyar) We Say: The point was al-Zhahabi's extremely [un]sophisticated comment regarding the falsification of this hadith. His heart is such an academic, objective source, isn't it? There's more of these, mind you. The story regarding the Rafidi nephew is just icing on the cake. Another Mutah Permission Q

From Sistani's risala: 2386. In the following situations, it will not be necessary for a woman to seek the permission of her father or paternal grandfather, before getting married: If she is not a virgin. If she is a virgin, but her father or paternal grandfather refuse to grant permission to her for marrying a man who is compatible to her in the eyes of Shariah, as well as custom. If the father and the grandfather are not in any way willing to participate in the marriage. If they are not in a capacity to give their consent, like in the case of mental illness etc. If it is not possible to

  12. Ugly Jinn, you are confusing too many questions, which causes you to misinterpret the answers that are provided on here. I'm going to provide you with a few cursory comments, and you can do what you'd like with them, but I won't be responding to you after this post. You mentioned consistency, and consistency is essential to a strong and solid philosophical system. If the Shi`a establish that taqiyyah, nass and `adalah of Allah are principles, then they can reasonably apply them to situations, and this would not be seen as inconsistent. However, what you've done at various times is disputed o

  15. Salaamun Alaykum, What is going on now in the Middle East matches the general picture that we get from the ahaadith regarding what will take place preceeding the Zuhoor. However that doesn't necessarily mean that the Zuhoor will take place - for example in the 13th century mongol invasion of Iraq and the fall of the Abbasids there were signs very cosely matching those before the Zuhoor but it did not take place. Nevertheless, to give a rough idea of what will happen is as follows: There will be great conflict in Syria with different factions fighting each other. Out of this confict somebod

    Islamic Finance

Once there is an Islamic society that uses Gold, Silver or other physical commodity as money then we can focus on Islamic Finance. Since no such society exists, it is pointless to study this subject. This is my understanding, and I pray Allah forgive me if I'm wrong.

    Defeat

Love beneath my breath so light. Vision of You so lovely tonight. Your embrace as I cry Your name. Silently alone none of my tears are in vain. Pain I felt the swiftness of You flight. Brings me to me knees seeking Your light. Anger detained by Your command so near. Forever beside him (as) my beloved dear. War and torture from with in the depth of my soul. Peace and victory I can imagine, but only from taking You whole. Rest my head against Your feet. Tonight I will rise with defeat.

  24. Alaikom Alsalam I like how you began your question by accepting Allah's rule. I have a feeling that you're a sincere member that is here to learn. I think a simple answer would be that you love your husband a lot and you just can't imagine him going with someone else you love your husband a lot , which is good . I learnt something throughout my life though.. It may not be the best advice.. I'm not too old, just a teenager.. but I learnt to never put anything inside my heart except Allah. I learnt never to attach myself to anything, i can love ,but this love should not be beyond Allah's love.

Huh~ Thanks guys, I know what I said on the post.. Ignore it. I got a little bit of Ahlul-Bayt love left inside. Looks like my extreme taqiyyah is about to start. Age 15 all the way until I can settle outside of Malaysia. Probably at age 25, probably 50. Only God knows. I might have to learn how to pray again after that. About taqiyyah, I never knew it existed until a month after I reverted to the madhab of Ahlul-Bayt. I basically told everyone I trusted. They turned against me and reported me. The teachers got involved and told my parents. Parents started dissing this madhab and started becom

Had he had bought an extra car abusing his power, Ay. Khomenei would have fired him. I disagree totally with the anecdotal account of a representative of Rasool Allah (pbuh) punishing someone to exercise his/her Shari' right.

  35. Many women don't mind being in polygamous marriages (notice how many women will have affairs with married men), and many women marry principally for wordly gain (or 'security'), and that isn't affected by having to share their husbands. In fact, many women are quite happy to live parallel lives to their husbands, as long as he takes care of them (and their children) financially. This used to be even more the case until relatively recently. People need to look outside their little frame of reference that they have been brought up with. Not everyone has the same expectations of marriage.

  38. The phenomenon is being perceived backwards. Rather it is so that singers, dancers and pros become wanabe Shia. The reason is very human and thus not perfectly logical. Being misguided and unchanging like 95% of the people on this planet who won't give up a bad habit or a sinful profession, they, again like 95% of the people on this planet, at some point in their lives start to think of the afterlife and salvation and realize that its inevitable and real. Then without giving up or changing themselves first they find hope of receiving mercy and salvation through intercession of the ma'soomeen (

We are humans, we need sexual intimacy, our lifespans today are much longer than they used to be, but our anatomy is the same! We still need to have sex shortly after puberty, we have those urges, men used to be men and get married at young ages such as 14 years, but today they often must wait until 30!
