    Sheikh Yasser's Defence

YH may be right and logical in what he says, but a Shia must be extremely alert and aware of all the possible repurcussions and far reaching consequences of his actions. YH, who is not a Marja or anything like it, has become an asset for those who hate the Shia. YH should know that even if what he says is true, there is a time and place for everything and his actions may be benefiting the enemies of the Shia. There is such a thing as being naive, and thus a liability to your own people.

    Sheikh Yasser's Defence

Yassir has become an asset to those who hate Shia, he has become a scapegoat, and most Shia have fallen for it. Who was the Yassir Habib before Yassir Habib? All of these terrible things we see happening and being said about Shia have been taking place for well over 1400 years. Whether you admit to the Sunnis or not that you curse and believe in certain theories about history, they will still accuse you of it and claim you're liars. I really don't know how many more years of this it will take before Shia finally get over their inferiority complex syndrome and realize it is not their religion that is the problem, but those who basically exist only as an opposition to them. All Yassir has done is give Sunnis someone to point and cry about saying, "oh look, see see, I told you so". He is someone to finally blame everything on so that way when they do all of these things that they have been doing for over 1400 years, they wont look like total genocidal maniacs. If you've fallen for this nonsense, then you're a lost cause in my book, and you're a reason why this deen is failing. There are plenty of issues I have with Yassir's teachings, but I don't throw my people under the bus so a bunch of people who will hate me anyways can sleep better at night.

O Allah, make me leap to Thee in times of distress, ask from Thee in needs, and plead to Thee in misery! Tempt me not to seek help from other than Thee when I am distressed, to humble myself in asking from someone else when I am poor, or to plead with someone less than Thee when I fear; For then I would deserve Thy abandonment, Thy withholding, and Thy turning away, O most Merciful of those who show mercy

    Can Prophets And Imams Sin?

In Shia Islam We believe The Prophets and Imams are Infallible. Meaning their believe in Allah is sooo powerful they dont commit sin, they choose not too, hence why Allah chose them. Why Do We Believe that? Simple, Its Logical, a perfect religion must have this condition, also Allah says in the quran. "....and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one." (Quran 76:24) -Allah says not to obey the messenger in the case of Sunnis then cause they sinned before... Okay So God Brings Messengers and through them he sends his message. Now if the Prophets made mistakes, wouldnt the justice system of Allah break? Because if they can sin and they are prophets of Allah, we can just tell Allah on judgement day that if his prophets can do it so can we, and now this religion becomes no different then the Christians where you can ask forgiveness anytime and you'll be forgiven no matter what. Also, if the prophet made mistakes or sins, what makes you think he didnt make a mistake when he was giving the message of Allah to the people. For example, Prophet Muhammad, as you sunni say can make mistakes, if so, maybe he put something in the Quran that was vice-versa then what Allah said (Astagfirullah). You see, the whole religion of Al-Islam breaks. It becomes like any other innovated religion. But there is proof the prophets were perfect, just as Allah made the Quran perfect, he did so with his prophets PBUT. Note: When the prophets ever ask for forgiveness or Imams it int because they sin, its because they teach us to repent and pray. They are our rolemodels, how would we have known to pray/dua/repent if the Prophets . Them praying to Allah says alot. They are PROPHETS AND THEY PRAY, imagine us sinful people.... This also works with Imams. Why? Because there are no prophets after Muhammad PBUH, and neither does Allah bring any new message. Now what happens? Who protects the message of Muhammad? i.e prayer time/how to pray/ramadan rules/laws/fiqh/hadith (things that arnt mentioned in the quran). Now you Sunnis do say that Abu Baker Omar and Osman R.A all made mistakes no doubt. There is also proof in the Sahih they made innovations specifically saying it wasnt from the prophet. So We Shias believe Allah appoints the Imams, and the prophet CLEARLY mentions it. Why does Allah appoint the imams? To protect the religion after Prophet Muhammad, to help the ummah in things that arnt mentioned in the Quran. Note: This ties in with Imam Mahdi, but its another huge topic. Please Use my links in my signiture for searching anything else or related. I hope I helped! Conspiracy

People believe in stuff like this because is suits their agenda, if their lives depended on beliefs in such unsubstantiated rubbish they wouldnt give it the time of day. Its unfathomable to most reasonably minded people, but just ask yourself what people get from propagating these kind of views. It is often that it is helping them feel justified in their prejudices/hatreds, so they can continue to point the finger and ignore the 3 fingers pointing back at them.

    Where Is Allah

Aslamalaykum, From what I can remember top of my head...... Someone came to Holy Prophet s.a.w.w and asked: Where is Allah? Holy Prophet s.a.w.w replied: Tell me where He is not, so I can tell you where He is. He then asked when did Allah exist? Holy Prophet s.a.w.w replied: Tell me, when did not exist so I can tell you when He existed.

First of all, I'd like to thank you brother logic for providing a well written response, may Allah (swt) bless you and your family. 1. Don't quite understand this point? 2. The whole declaration of Milad being "bid'ah" is from the Wahabis, not the sunnis. We must acknowledge theyre different if we want peace, same way we dont want Ghulat labelled as Shia. Real sunnis (and theres a fair amount of them) happily celebrate it. 3. I agree, shiism is like an ocean of spirituality, wheras sunni islam is definitely a puddle in comparison, cant beat infallible knowledge. But the issue of not talking much about the Prophet because we all believe in him, I partially agree with, 4.however there are still many lessons from RasoolAllah that can be learned in relation to the lecture topic. But he's not spoken about enough. 5.Im perfectly okay with tawassul, in tawassul terms we never use RasoolAllah though. Which I think is a bit of an underestimation of him. 6&7. yes this Hadith is true, after mandatory hajj visiting Imam Hussain (as) is of greater reward. Which makes sense tbh, but im talking about shias that have NEVER been to the land of Hijaz but have been to ziarah 3-4 times. Surely you agree this is wrong? 8.. I agree. The situation is different, but this thought sparked after we had 10 days for Imam Ali (as) in Shahr Ramadhan, I think it'd be quite nice to have 10 days for the Prophet (sawa) too 9.http://www.maaref-foundation.com/english/index.htm its on there :D 10. I raised it because I think its related to negligence of Important personalities. Some say that the reason shaitaan did that is because shaitaan wanted to share the work with Umar. So they each covered one side of the road (just what I've heard, not insulting him or anything :shifty: )

You're all dreaming.....I stick to my first statement. Jack would have been a drunk, unemployed, coming up with never ending get rich quick schemes, he eventually would have developed a taste for prostitutes that frequent the bars he gambles his life away in on a nightly basis......probably would have died in a knife fight for not being able to pay up....or caught syphilis and would have died when his brain turned to mush causing him to go insane.

Your question is weird... its irrelevant. AbuBakr totally whiped the floor with Muhammad's most important rules he gave the ummah in order for us to NEVER go astray! THAT my friend is a fact! and I wouldn't give two [Edited Out]s about what you or shia would call him... but I know for a fact that nothing would make me forgive his actions, he's lucky his deeds will be judged by Allah the merciful. Although I doubt any mercy will be shown, we only know what we can perceive and only judge based on what we know and what we know about him and Umar is disgraceful to anyone in any culture and timeframe let alone to be called sahaba of Muhammad, the best of creation. And Allah knows best! INFORM YOURSELF and tell me what your position would be?

    Pic & Word

Photography can make realize few things, it makes you realize how the mundane things around us can be turn to an amazing photo that can win a prize sometimes it is the shadows Sometimes it is the light that can turn your backyard to an enchanted forest sometimes it our our arrangement, effort we put to make things looks better or worse that what they are , funnier or creepier sometimes it is even easier , just pick a different angle that may make things look different Sometimes it is our time tricks we play using the camera, freezing a moment that otherwise wasnt easy to spot but some photos look great however they were taken, the quality of the picture dosnt affect our lips from drawing a smile on our face i wonder if we can make a different camera than allow us to look at events of our lives and enjoy the scene always , despite the sad shadows or the overwhelming light ,to enjoy the strange angles that the life surprises us with i wish sometimes i have the ability to arrange the picture of an event , to make it ready for a professional shot As a muslim, i deal with mundane life all the time, life can not be more lame, there are no parties, no music , no gossips lol allot of things actually that are considered as pleasures and entertainment that should lift up your spirits when it is down , making you a bit more happy but i've learned as i grow that Islam teaches you to make a life that look like a smiling child , it dosnt matter how bad the quality of picture is , it always makes you smile mundane things become peaceful, calming , void from harm or ill

Ask the western governments, especially the US why they created the Taliban in Afghanistan back in (1994) and supported them under the table till 1999. And then they came up with this idea of creating, supporting and indirectly arming the 'Pakistani Taliban' or the TTP in Pakistani soil? You have interests in dividing Pakistan, trying to have a full control over its nuclear weapons, and that is why you create excuses such as the Taliban/Terrorist Arab groups, sectarian gangs, but the PEOPLE suffer because of your dirty politics. Women and those who disagree with these Takfiri terrorists are one of the first victims, that includes the Shias... and we in the Shia world will never fogive those who play such dirty politics and the Shia population becomes one of the first victims. Down with the governments who support the terrorist-Takfiri anti-human gangs and suicide bombers in Syria, Pakistan, Iraq and elsewhere!

Actually I doubt he did. Here read this thread http://www.shiachat....-wore-earrings/ Imam Ali (as) did many mustahab things, how about you go start with those first before wearing a gay earing which you aren't doing for "sunnah" but rather to be "gangster". If it was sunnah wouldn't our scholars and ulama wear earrings? Ask yourself that first.

No problem akhi, but I wouldn't recommend it. It may not be expressly forbidden or makrooh, but when I think of piety or what I would imagine a pious man looks like, I could not see him with a pierced ear. I'm sure you will be judged negatively for it by those who are religious, and they most likely won't take you seriously as a pious soldier of Imam al-Zamaan (as). Allahul Aleem

    Ear Piercing (men)

(bismillah) (wasalam) Question: I wanted to know what the Prophet and the Holy Imams (peace be upon them all) had to say on men wearing earrings, and body piercings. What exactly is allowed for men and women, and what is not? I have been asked by many friends and simply told them I do not know of any narrations specifically, only I cannot ever imagine a Prophet or Imam of Islam ever getting a piercing. Please help. Answer: Anything which is considered by society or custom to be feminine or womanly should not be worn by a man. Anything that would associate a person with a particular sinful group (e.g. homosexuals or illicit drug users or gang members) should also not be worn. Anything which may harm the body, leading to infections or other medical problems, is also not allowed. Having said that, there is no specific prohibition against piercings or earrings in general, although of course this does not befit a believer. http://www.askthesheikh.com/does-islam-allow-men-to-wear-earrings-and-have-body-piercings/

    Any Brother/sister Practicing Irfan?

what are these so called norms ? :Islam is not a religion though most treat it like one , as do the christians , jews , etc . :Islam is a :deen . And :Islam has the best of guidance for mankind . And :Islam has the best leaders to guide us . You can choose to take the basic package , or the optional extras. :Allah (swt) will judge you in your capacity , your abilities and talents that he has bestowed upon you . As we approach an interesting time in our history , many people are curious . Some ask more questions , some want more than the basics , and some believe there's more to life than the mundane. hence the awakening process, many seek answers . And all this is leading to one wanting to know his :Creator , and how he fits in to the larger picture. So the journey begins to seek your long lost :Creator-Being , who has always been there , but most of us have neglected. We seek nearness to :Him, as everything else seems further away . We yearn for his :Mercy , his :Divine-Love , we want to be intoxicated with His remembrance . Like a long lost love , who has never stop loving you . It is he who the heavens and the earth bow before constantly , and we are so arrogant to only bow 5 times . For these humble lost souls , we find our way back . Call it Irfan , Gnostics , spirituality . words do not do justice . Poems are written to express ones love for Him. Sacrifices are made as one yearns to meet the one that originated us . Is there any better way to spend your time than to praise the one that is closer to you than your jugular . One who loves you 40 time more than your own mother . The one who sent you the greatest of his creation :Muhammad (as). The one that have given you the best guides (:Imams (as)) too conduct your affairs here , and has sprayed the purest of blood of :Hussain (as) all over the plains of :Karbala to remind you of his promise to you . How can you accept the normal obligations he has prescribes to you when you have been blessed with the extra-ordinary . ws

The Concept Of Mehr Is Immoral?

Kim K. I have seen muslim husbands cook and clean and take care of their homes. And I think it is nice that a woman gets a gift. Many women in the free western world of America are shacking up with men who are doing absolutely nothing for them except taking care of their own needs and the women go to work and work hard and take care of their own homes and pay their own bills while the men do nothing but use them as work horses while telling them they like an "independent woman" and believe in equality. The women do actually end up doing more work than the men. I listen to American non muslim free women talk about how they could not submit to some man and Islam is too controling and I shake my head because I can not believe how they are allowing themselves to be taken for granted while complaining about Islams benefits which they have no Idea about. Islam seems tough in theory only to make people realize it is a serious religion but if u have a good partner you will find something different than what u are imagining.
