  1. Just got back from Graduation :D Btw, my acting Principal said this during his speech: "If Muhammad didn't go to the mountain, the mountain would of went to Muhammad." I was like... Whaaaaaaaa? I looked straight across to my friend who is also a revert and he was just nodding with a big smile lol. Has anyone heard this saying before? I didn't even get it at first but my friend explained it, AllahuAkbar!!! :D

  2. Ayatollah Bahjat talks about how one must not fear jinn. He says that they are nothing to be afraid of. He recounts a story of Hajj Mirza Hossein in Najaf who was visited by the jinn where the latter asked Mirza questions on Islamic law.

  3. Ibrahim, Do you believe that Aisha allowed grown men to suck on her breasts? If so, do you truly believe that Muhammad (pbuh) was pleased with it? Let me give you some Hadiths, all from "Sahih" Muslim. ' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Messenger of Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man. 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed. (Book 008, Number 3424) 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared. (Book 008, Number 3425) Umm Salama said to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her): A young boy who is at the threshold of puberty comes to you. I, however, do not like that he should come to me, whereupon 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Don't you see in Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) a model for you? She also said: The wife of Abu Hudhaifa said: Messenger of Allah, Salim comes to me and now he is a (grown-up) person, and there is something that (rankles) in the mind of Abu Hudhaifa about him, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him (so that he may become your foster-child), and thus he may be able to come to you (freely). (Book 008, Number 3427) Zainab daughter of Abu Salama reported: I heard Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon himy, saying to 'A'isha: By Allah, I do not like to be seen by a young boy who has passed the period of fosterage, whereupon she ('A'isha) said: Why is it so? Sahla daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah's Messenger, I swear by Allah that I see in the face of Abu Hudhaifa (the signs of disgust) on account of entering of Salim (in the house), whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She (Sahla bint Suhail) said: He has a beard. But he (again) said: Suckle him, and it would remove what is there (expression of disgust) on the face of Abu Hudhaifa. She said: (I did that) and, by Allah, I did not see (any sign of disgust) on the face of Abu Hadhaifa. (Book 008, Number 2428) Oh, and remember, this is supposed to be your mother!!

  4. Sister Dawn, I am really sorry that you're going through such a difficult time, there's nothing that I can add to the excellent advice shared by ('your sister in faith', 'Alizee Sukeyna' and 'Raafiki') on this thread. Please listen to what they have to say with an open mind, but maybe in your heart of hearts you already know what needs to be done - have faith in Allah's providence and start a bright new chapter in your life.

  5. In practice, if you go to a court of law, you will find that it always provides more weight to direct evidence, rather than circumstantial evidence. If you have direct evidence and circumstantial evidence directly contradicting each other, then always the direct evidence is taken and circumstantial evidence is discarded. We can hardly discard all the reports of the secret burial of the daughter of the Prophet (saw), the denying of the pen and paper to the Prophet (saw) to write his will, and the threat to attack the house of Sayyida Fatima and Ali (as) , which are recorded in Sunni sources as well, to say nothing of the injuring of Sayyida Fatima (as) , which is recorded in Shia sources. Also remember that the grave of Sayyida Fatima (as) is still unknown to this day. These are all stronger evidences of a bad relation between Umar and the Ahlulbayt. We cannot discard all those evidences. Considering everything, I would say that the marriage might be a fabrication or a confusion, with another Umm Kulthum being mistaken for Imam Ali (as) 's daughter.

  6. (salam) I Have Long Awaited O' Baqir... I have long awaited O' Baqir... to with you be greeted As foretold by Mustafa... O' Baqir I am Jaber * * * O' fifth shining light that decorates a whole household of gold Know that I'm Jaber and for how long have I served your household By your grandfather Mohammed O' Baqir I was foretold That I'd meet his descendant, though I may grow both blind and old He told me... that you would have his name He told me... that you both walked the same Though I be blind and older... O' Baqir I am Jaber * * * Know that every day I'd leave my house and sit at this roadside And without sight, hear the footsteps that passed the house I reside Until I heard the footsteps of Mohammed, there I'd abide Waiting as age ate me away like land eaten by the tide Just waiting... for my blindness to see Just waiting... for the son of Ali Waiting as time grew greater... O' Baqir I am Jaber * * * I sat there on that roadside recalling, and what I'd recall! Men recite your tragedies, but O' Baqir I've seen them all I saw Ali as a poisoned sword upon his head would fall I saw your mother as her womb was crushed between door and wall Men have heard... but Baqir I have seen Men have heard... but through it all I've been And it haunts me forever... O' Baqir I am Jaber * * * They assume that I was tortured by age and thus became blind My eyes wherever they would gaze, unbearable sights they’d find Like when they saw Hassan alone, against him all of mankind With him I stood and I asked my eyes to help, but they declined "O’ old man"… my eyes to me narrate "O’ old man… we’ve seen torture and hate" Cries did not soothe them either… O’ Baqir I am Jaber * * * And do I dare recall the land with pure bodies once ridden O' Baqir upon whose eyes has been left a greater burden? And your father painted in my eyes, what to all stayed hidden He'd show me where each men fell and bled, where the rocks would sadden "O' Jaber... this is where Akbar fell O' Jaber... Hussain's plight I'll retell Abbas lies by the river"... O' Baqir I am Jaber * * * My sight left me but on that day tortured me that which I heard The sound of thirst and mourning left my body old and withered Without my sight, I felt the dust and this tragedy pictured The choice of Hussain or Abbas left what’s left of me tortured I stood there… looking both left and right I stood there… longing for my old sight I stood a blind visitor… O’ Baqir I am Jaber * * * An old man I embrace you O’ master, son of my masters And see you using my hands, remembering Mohammed’s features Yet when I touch your head, Ali’s anguish my mind remembers When I touch your ribs, your mother and your Hussain it pictures And I weep… tears to a sightless eye And I weep… and we weep you and I Foretold by your grandfather… O’ Baqir I am Jaber * * * Nouri Sardar London – 11/09/12 http://www.nourisard...e-long-awaited/

  7. These false statements work fine when one is trying to keep Sunnis or non-muslims away from Shias. But you will really need to try harder if you expect to convert Shias. Really this is sad your embarrassing yourself.

  11. We could ask you the same question. Please copy/paste the questions asked in that poll to here, and answer them with words. I want to know exactly how many of his lectures you have listened to/watched before coming to your conclusion. Then, it will be easy to determine if you are a troll or not.

  12. You are nothing but a wahabi troll - "caught out" you are even dumber than I thought. Aisha was a bad woman - responsible for the deaths of thousands of muslims - not to mention her yucky adult breastfeeding! Umar - murderer of Bibi Fatima (as) and her unborn son umar is going to hell But your tiny brain will never understand this.

Please tell me, so other people will know, what is the maximum amount of words you are willing to read from the Quran or Ahadith at a time? That way, people can post short verses and hadiths that your brain can comprehend.

  23. This is a little story about me and my Brother, Hassanain Rajabali. The story is in Sydney, Australia Let me start the story like this. I have these rules I follow in my life in regards to my prays. I always thank Allah for the Good and the Bad in my life and only ask for patience, protection and forgiveness but nothing ever of a personal nature. I never ask for anything that will sooth my desires; I believe this is truly opposite to being humble. Even if it is negative in my life I thank Allah for giving it to me as part of my test. However I asked Allah for something personal for the first time in my life and Allah blessed me with my request. I asked Allah to please send Brother Hassanain to me so I can explain my findings. His broad range of topics and his beautiful lecturing style was exactly the character I needed to talk to in regards to my findings. Financially difficulties due to moving to another state (To Gold Coast) would have caused me to sleep on his doorstep but I was determined to do it urgently. I realise Allah’s lessons in life by my inadequate situation and I thank Allah for giving me difficulties in due measure. I have found more in less and I thank Allah. Months went by and I was at the stage of selling off my possessions to fly to America. I had no address but a list of organisations that have heard Brother Hassanain lecture. After selling enough goods I had enough to buy a ticket one way. I got in my car and was running very low on petrol but couldn't even afford to put some in. I thank Allah for letting me see the humorous side of this. As I was driving my car I realised I wasn't going to make it to the airport and pulled into a side street. I drove a little to find adequate parking (in other words a spot for an unknown amount of time) and landed up in front of a Mosque in Arncliffe. I've never prayed in a Mosque. Not because of anything more than the fact that I pray differently. When I prostrate I think of every positive and negative in my life. Due to this my prostration period normally goes for some time so I always pray by myself so people don't think differently about me. I starting crying and I cried for so long that I missed my flight. Not because of my situation but for creating human determination and intelligence. I realise Allah’s strength of the Unseen when things don't go the way I planned and I thank Allah for that. After getting up to recover I spoke to a young man at the entrance who mentioned a bookstore up the road. I went there and met with a Brother Yakub. We started talking and he was very interested with my ideology. He made some phone calls and organised a meeting with me and a Sheik Jehad Ismael and a Sheik Youssef Nabha because this was the topic of importance to him as well. After returning to my car I found some money that my daughter had stuffed in my bag. I thank Allah for a 5 year old whose intelligence is something to admire. That pocket money got me home. My flight was rescheduled a week and a bit later and I thank Allah for chaginf my path. I went to the meeting with Brother Yakub and another Brother Ali and thank Allah for creating the ability for such beautiful minds to exist. We all listened to each other for hours. They were admiring some of my findings and I was admiring their gifts of speech. I would wilfully be their slave if they could give me the gift of their precious time. I was able to return to Brother Jehads lectures and listen to his amazingly ability to speak via the brain to the heart. One of my highlights in my life is having the ability to hear him lecture. He always saved sometime afterwards to talk to me. I thank Allah for his patience. After my final visit to Brother Jehads lectures I returned home to find an email from Brother Hassanain. I thank Allah for the joy I felt that day. This meant I could stay in Sydney and provide a bit more for my family before my move. We emailed each other daily for weeks and I ended up moving to Gold Coast eventually. I live in a place now where sin is second nature. I live now in a place of marketing to Desires. Not many understand what being Humble is here and I thank Allah for showing me how much negative there is in my city so I can ask for a deeper forgiveness. I thank Allah for creating Iblis and showing me how wrong the path of the Shaitan/Unintelligence is and ask forgiveness and protection. Within such sin you start appreciating the things that you take for granted. The Sun, the moon, the stars, the rain, the waves, oxygen and begin to thank Allah for Mathematics and Logic and realise Allahs power is endless. Brother Hassanain was then randomly asked to come to Sydney Australia for the recent Muharram. He agreed and eventually we organised a meeting. I flew back to Sydney to meet him 2 weeks after landing in Gold Coast. I thank Allah for accepting my request. Brother Hassanain met me at a cafe and we talked for 9 hours straight. We stayed so long at the cafe that eventually I had to drop him off to his place of residence. I thank Allah for giving Brother Hassanain the intelligence to understand and wanting to assist me. His intelligence is as beautiful as his baby daughter. I ask Allah forgiveness for desiring a meeting with Brother Hassanain but also realise how much more I could Thank Allah and I thank Allah for that.

  25. bro, any quote out of context can mean anything, taking random quotes doesnt mean Allah doesnt agree lol. do some research, these so called unpractical things you claim have been around for a while, i can get a section from the Quran which says that He killed the nonbelievers, that doesnt mean we should kill non believers. Taqiyya is a form of religious dissimulation, or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts while they are at risk of significant persecution. Quran 3:28 enjoins Muslims not to take the company of non-Muslims over Muslims unless as a means of safeguarding themselves. "Let not the believers take those who deny the truth for their allies in preference to the believers – since he who does this cuts himself off from God in everything – unless it be to protect yourself against them in this way…"Regarding 3:28, Ibn Kathir, a prominent authority writes, "meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly." He quotes Muhammad's companion, Abu Ad-Darda', who said "we smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them," and Al-Hasan who said "the Tuqyah is acceptable till the Day of Resurrection." 16:106 Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah , and for them is a great punishment

  26. Brother.. 1. We Believe Imam Ali is Chosen BY Allah!!! What ever the Prophet says is also Gods Command! 2. Mutah has been around since the prophet. Just because it is allowed doesnt mean you should abuse it. It is permisible, not required. For example, people who go to a far away land for a long time and arnt married, their nafs is too strong, they think they might commit a sin so they do mutah, Halal Relationship. 3. I guarantee you, if your life was in danger you would lie. It doesnt give you the right to lie about anything. This is allowed because wahabis like you want to kill us Shias...."There is no complusion in religion" You follow what ever religion you want, we follow what ever we want. If you have a problem bring proof. We have proof from your books, then you deny and say show me in the Quran. Many things arnt in the Quran, such as how to pray and many things which are allowed or not in Islam. Please use the Knowlegde Allah has given you and think outside the box. I will pray that you get some common sense. Wa Salaam!

  29. Alhamdulillah Allah has already punished france by allowing it to be taken over by Arab immigrants- most of them coming straight from the village. I take solace in the fact that the average French secularist/nationalist is tearing their hair out in grief that their "civilized" and "cultured" nation is being slowly invaded by North African Arabs. The anti Islam rhetoric, and anti Islam legislation - hijab/niqab ban - and now the banning of people from even protesting against insults made towards the Prophet are the last desperate clawing acts of a decrepit - dying society.

  31. This coming from the person that actually believes in "Sahih" Muslim. And did you even read the hadiths? "there is no mention of what you claim the hadiths say what allegedly aisha ra did" Did you HONESTLY even read them? What else could "suckle" refer to? *facepalm* This is vulgar enough as it is. Do you really need me to spell it out for you in even more explicit terms? I won't, because this is not befitting of a Muslim to talk about. Funny how it's in "Sahih" Muslim.

    Verses Of Life!

y "Kind words and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and He is Most- Forbearing." (Suraat Al Baqraa - The Cow- 2: 263) "O ye who believe! Cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury, - like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith." (Suraat Al Baqraa - The Cow- 2: 264) "When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant WHEN he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way." (2:186) "When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant WHEN he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way." (2:186) r [3:185] Every person tastes death, then you receive your recompense on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever misses Hell, barely, and makes it to Paradise, has attained a great triumph. The life of this world is no more than an illusion. [6:32] The life of this world is no more than illusion and vanity, while the abode of the Hereafter is far better for the righteous. Do you not understand?! [57:20] Know that this worldly life is no more than play and games, and boasting among you, and hoarding of money and children. It is like abundant rain that produces plants and pleases the disbelievers. But then the plants turn into useless hay, and are blown away by the wind. In the Hereafter there is either severe retribution, or forgiveness from GOD and approval. This worldly life is no more than a temporary illusion. [6:33] We know that you may be saddened by what they say. You should know that it is not you that they reject; it is GOD's revelations that the wicked disregard.

  34. I see, im thankful that i dont have Cluster or migraine! I found this(in wikipedia because im too lazy to search more): "Among the most widely accepted theories is that cluster headaches are due to an abnormality in the hypothalamus. This can explain why cluster headaches frequently strike around the same time each day, and during a particular season, since one of the functions the hypothalamus performs is regulation of the biological clock. Metabolic abnormalities have also been reported in patients. The hypothalamus is responsive to light—daylength and photoperiod; olfactory stimuli, including sex steroids (some researchers have linked low testosterone to cluster headaches)[11][12] and corticosteroids; neurally transmitted information arising in particular from the heart, the stomach, and the reproductive system; autonomic inputs; blood-borne stimuli, including leptin, ghrelin, angiotensin, insulin, pituitary hormones, cytokines, blood plasma concentrations of glucose and osmolarity, etc.; and stress. These particular sensitivities may underlay the causes, triggers, and methods of treatment of cluster headache. " + genetics and people who have heavy addiction for smoking. Ibuprofen is the active drug in ibumetin :) Yes, the side effects of aspirin and ibuprofen is stomach ulcers (because of irritation and inhibition of certain enzymes/mediators in the stomach). I have seen many using that method which u tie something around ur head, but it doesnt work for anyone. Does she use any other medication which is used for migraine? The Salafi guy talked about the Shi'a guy's family, so the Shi'a guy responded by bringing in the Salafi guy's family, both were wrong, and a sensitive point was touched upon. Both are at fault, equally or not, that's not for me to decide.

  38. Wahhabis hate Ahlul Bayt. Normal Sunnis (like Abu Malik, who said that Jaffer as-Sadiq was the most knowledgeable person of his time) don't. They may not follow them like we do, but they don't hate them as Wahhabis/Nasibis do. Wahhabis will outright curse the beloved family of the Prophet (pbuh)

  39. Uh, what? Is this post serious or a troll post? Real answers: 1) No: Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 157-158: {157} "and for their saying, ‘We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the apostle of Allah’ —though they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but so it was made to appear to them. Indeed those who differ concerning him are surely in doubt about him: they do not have any knowledge of that beyond following conjectures, and certainly they did not kill him." {158} "Rather Allah raised him up toward Himself, and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise." 2) I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think so. 3) He was not buried because he was not killed. He went into occultation. Also, he and all other Prophets were Muslims. 4) They either only tried to kill him alone, or along with an additional 1-3 people. I'm not sure who they were, if they were even really there. 5) Many, many things. The Prophet Jesus (as) is mentioned by name more times than the Prophet Muahammad (pbuh). Here are some mentions: Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 171: "O People of the Book! Do not exceed the bounds in your religion, and do not attribute anything to Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His Word that He cast toward Mary and a spirit from Him. So have faith in Allah and His messengers, and do not say, ‘[God is] a trinity.’ Relinquish [such a creed]! That is better for you. Allah is but the One God. He is far too immaculate to have any son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah suffices as trustee." Surah Al-Ma'ida: "{70} Certainly We took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We sent apostles to them. Whenever an apostle brought them that which was not to their liking, they would impugn a part of them, and a part they would slay. {71} They supposed there would be no testing, so they became blind and deaf. Thereafter Allah accepted their repentance, yet [again] many of them became blind and deaf, and Allah sees best what they do. {72} They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ But the Messiah had said, ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Indeed whoever ascribes partners to Allah, Allah shall forbid him [entry into] paradise, and his refuge shall be the Fire, and the wrongdoers will not have any helpers.’ {73} They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the third [person] of a trinity,’ while there is no god except the One God. If they do not relinquish what they say, there shall befall the faithless among them a painful punishment. {74} Will they not repent to Allah and plead to Him for forgiveness? Yet Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. {75} The Messiah, son of Mary, is but an apostle. Certainly [other] apostles have passed before him, and his mother was a truthful one. Both of them would eat food. Look how We clarify the signs for them, and yet, look, how they go astray!" Sura Al-Ma'da, Ayah 116-118: "{116} And when Allah will say, ‘O Jesus son of Mary! Was it you who said to the people, ‘‘Take me and my mother for gods besides Allah’’?’ He will say, ‘Immaculate are You! It does not behoove me to say what I have no right to [say]. Had I said it, You would certainly have known it: You know whatever is in my self, and I do not know what is in Your Self. Indeed You are knower of all that is Unseen. {117} I did not say to them [anything] except what You had commanded me [to say]: ‘‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’’ And I was a witness to them so long as I was among them. But when You had taken me away, You Yourself were watchful over them, and You are witness to all things. {118} If You punish them, they are indeed Your creatures; but if You forgive them, You are indeed the All-mighty, the All-wise.’" Surah At-Tawba, Ayah 30: "The Jews say, ‘Ezra is the son of Allah,’ and the Christians say, ‘Christ is the son of Allah.’ That is an opinion that they mouth, imitating the opinions of the faithless of former times. May Allah assail them, where do they stray?!" Surah Yunus (Jonah), Ayah 68: "They say, ‘Allah has taken a son!’ Immaculate is He! He is the All-sufficient. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [statement]. Do you attribute to Allah what you do not know?" The Prophet Jesus (as) is mentioned by name 25 times in the Quran. It's interesting to note that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name 5 times in the Quran. In fact, Surah Maryam (the 19th Surah in the Quran) is named after Mary, the mother of Jesus (as). Surah Al Imran, Ayah 45: "When the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah gives you the good news of a Word from Him whose name is Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, distinguished in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near [to Allah]." Surah Maryam, Ayah 34: "Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute."

  40. Salam, we should be offended and we should show our offense, peacefully of course. Being peaceful and being passive are two different things. Islam encourages us to be peaceful when attempting to make our point or get our needs addressed, but we are not supposed to be passive. We should do what is in our ability that Allah(s.w.a) gave us to distance ourselves from the despicable attack against our Messenger(p.b.u.h) and our religion that is framed by the Western Media as 'free speech'. Especially those who live in the U.S, where the film originated should do tabara (distancing oneself) from this crime. We are having a demonstration in Washington D.C. at Lafayette Park (across from the White House) this Saturday, Sept. 22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Any brothers and sisters that can attend should attend to show the U.S. govt and others working behind the scenes that we will not just 'roll over and play dead' when our Prophet(p.b.u.h) is insulted. For more info, you can email muslims4prophet@gmail.com This guy ( not you Kaniz, the guy you quoted) is a troll. please ignore.

  42. ^ And is he a Pisces? He has a very relaxed attitude toward life, which is good in a sense...but he's letting his responsibilities go and he knows it. It sincerely seems like he just doesn't care. This has nothing to do with you being a "bad wife": you are doing EVERYTHING you can to keep your life together. I've been keeping up with your posts, starting from when he first left and it just seems like that his MO in life. If things get tough, meh, it will work out somehow. He's completely neglecting the fact that you need to do whatever you can and Allah will do the rest, not the other way around. I can see you love him but my advice is to give him an ultimatum and stick by it. Either he starts pulling his own weight and doing what needs to be done or you leave. There is really no simpler answer than that. Things are going to keep going down this path if nothing changes and I think you know that this will destroy you if you don't act. You're reaching out for help from us, you're at your wits end. You know something needs to change and this is my opinion. Act. You are strong, you've shown that.

  43. Salamun Alaykum Just to point out, the first guy on the left of the person kissing her hands is Mehdi Khorasani. He is one of the most anti Iranian government "scholar". He is also the "Imam" of a mosque near San Francisco. Very secular guy indeed.

  44. You were right first time, we should follow the Prophet (saww) and the Imams (as) only and not any individual scholar. This is not an anti-taqlid dig, those that are into it good for you but please don't paint it as an essential part of Shi'ah aquaid. Fadhlallah was contrarian* in his beliefs, I believe there is an edict online somewhere endorsed by numerous scholars against his viewpoint; if I can find it I'll post a link. ALI * - this is a politer word than I intended, don't want to cause a pointless online bunfight with his 'followers'.

  46. Because they are the successors to the Prophet (pbuh) and are the ones who maintained true Islam. Sunni'ism/the Sunni Calipha deviated the religion Allah had perfected. Firstly, they were not like any other Muslim because they divinely appointed and behaved, spoke and acted under divine command. Secondly, the Quran and hadith clearly states that they do have rights over every other Muslim. You're exemplifying the perfect use for this Ayah: Surah Al-Imran, Ayah 19: "Indeed, with Allah religion is Islam, and those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves. And whoever defies Allah’s signs [should know that] Allah is swift at reckoning."" Not leader of the Ummah, which is what we're talking about here. They can be scholars. Go ahead and explain how Muslims (Shia) like Ali (as) in the same way Christians like Jesus (as) in any way whatsoever. Because there are drawings of him? The fact is they like him for his piousness and because he was a righteous servant of Allah. The Quran says that Allah has favored them (the Prophets and Imams), so that we too should favor them. Also, how often do you see Sunnis saying we have to love all the Sahabah? They don't like the deviators of Islam too much? It's especially ironic considering some of the so-called 'Sahaba' also killed many of the other Sahaba. In other words you will continue to reject the authentic words of the Prophet (pbuh). Go ahead and explain why you can't take them at 100%, because the Prophet's (pbuh) words contradict Sunni'ism? You would rather be a Sunni than be a Muslim and obey Allah and the Prophet (pbuh)? Astaghfirullah... There is no way you can interpret it in any other way. The Prophet (pbuh) said that after him there will be 12 Muslim leaders, all of them from Quraysh. The 12 Shia Imams are the only 12 Muslims leaders, all of them from Quraysh. You either obey the Prophet (pbuh) or you don't. You are either a Muslim or you are not. Firstly, I did. Maybe you should read the entire post. Secondly, the Quran says to obey the Prophet (pbuh), which you say we shouldn't do 100%. This was an especially funny comment since Sunnis name themselves after the Sunnah. Funny, because I posted an Ayah from the Quran where Allah says Ibrahim (as) was a Shia. Surah As-Saaffat, Ayah 83: "And most surely Ibraham was among the Shia of him (i.e., Noah)" Shias say we are Muslims. We only refer to ourselves as Shia when it's necessary to distinguish from Sunnis, Sufis, etc. Furthermore, saying Shia is wrong because you falsely think it is a sect is utter nonsense. Shia beliefs are the only ones in accordance to Islam, and Sunni'ism (a created sect) is contradicted by it. Shia IS Muslim. Exactly, so why would the Sunnis divide into their own sect, reject the Prophet (pbuh) when he said that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) is his successor and there will only be 12 Muslim leaders from Quraysh after him, and instead accept Abu Bakr as the Caliphate and more than 170 Caliphs, many of whom not from Quraysh, after him? Why would they change the way Muslims pray? Surah At-Tawba, Ayah 67: "The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just, and are close with their hands. They have forgotten Allah; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse." Surah Al-Ma'ida, Ayah 19: "The Jews say, ‘Allah’s hand is tied up.’ Tied up be their hands, and cursed be they for what they say! Rather, His hands are wide open: He bestows as He wishes. Surely many of them will be increased by what has been sent to you from your Lord in rebellion and unfaith, and We have cast enmity and hatred amongst them until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they ignite the flames of war, Allah puts them out. They seek to cause corruption on the earth, and Allah does not like the agents of corruption." Allah says the Jews hands are tied up, and guess who prays like the Jews. Why would they change the Wudu? *Note: This is from my post above, but it seems you haven't actually read the whole post* Why would they change the date of Ramadan? "O Men, the unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which Allah forbade, and to forbid that which Allah has made permissible." - The Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) last sermon Why would they kill the Ahlul Bayt? *Note: This is also from my post above, but it seems you haven't actually read the whole post* Do you have no shame before Allah? You try and deviate Allah's perfected religion and choose Sunni'ism over Islam? What's the matter with you? Go ahead and post a 100% authenticated part of the Sunnah that contradicts Shiasm. Are you also not the one who just said: Where did you even see me refer to myself as Shia in the post? Even the thread title says Islam, not Shiasm. Shaitain is in your head thinking Shia is a sect. You should read the entire post, because it proves without any doubt that Shiasm is synonymous with Islam. Shia, and possibly ignorant Sunnis, Sufis, etc. (who are not aware of this truth and would convert to true Islam if they saw this), are the only Muslims. Sunni beliefs and practice are a contradiction to Islam. You should take your own advice, because I will say I am Muslim and I will be sincere, but you will say Muslim and it will be a lie because a Muslim must accept the Quran, obey the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and does not reject Allah's signs. Allah may question you about why you rejected Islam when the truth came to you and favored being a Sunni instead of being a Muslim. Surah Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrites): {1} "When the hypocrites come to you they say, 'We bear witness that you are indeed the apostle of Allah.' Allah knows that you are indeed His Apostle, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars." {2} "They make a shield of their oaths, and bar from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they used to do." Surah Al-Hajj: {54} "That those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, and so they may have faith in it, and their hearts may be humbled before Him. Indeed Allah guides those who have faith to a straight path." {55} "Those who are faithless persist in their doubt about it, until the Hour overtakes them suddenly, or they are overtaken by the punishment of an inauspicious day." {56} "On that day all sovereignty will belong to Allah: He will judge between them. Then those who have faith and do righteous deeds will be in gardens of bliss," {57} "and those who are faithless and who deny Our signs —for such there will be a humiliating punishment." Surah Ghafir (Surah Al-Mu'min), Ayah 4: "No one disputes the signs of Allah except the faithless. So do not be misled by their bustle in the towns." Surah Al-Imran, Ayah 4: "Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retributions." My advice to you is that you embrace Islam instead of Sunni'ism. May Allah guide you to the right path.
