  2. Do you IRI supporters ever consider that you do more harm than good for your cause with your over-aggressive and emotional responses to any criticism of your beloved system? I don't necessarily agree with Hawraa that much on Iran, because quite frankly she seems almost as biased against the IRI as you guys are in favour of it, but she has far better akhlaq than any of you, and she comes across as far less sensitive. I think some of you could do with growing up a bit, and stop treating everyone who has issues with the IRI as a quasi-apostate.

    Mutah Oh Yea!

muta is abused and so is permanent marriage and divorce and all other islamic institutions they are all abused when their laws are breached and curruption results Tell me a 70% divorce rate after the first 3 months of permanent marriage doesn't constitute a grave misuse of permanent marriage? If there is no hypocrisy involved and no subconscious hate towards the concept of muta then the permanent marriage will get the same criticism from you as the temporary marriage because it is abused just as much if not more than muta. as many people said in Islam marriage is voluntary so and an absolute h

(salam) Colors that a Shia can wear during Muharram are black, white, gray, blue, green, turquoise(firozi),brown if doesn't have a shade of orange in it that is it is either sandy brown or blackish brown. Some people wear off white too. Colors not to be worn in Muharram are red ,orange, maroon, pink, magenta(rani),yellow, orangish brown and purple/voilet which has a shade of pink, Purple color can be worn with caution if it is dark and has more resemblance to navy blue. Colors to be avoided should also be avoided in embroidery or print patterns.Like if you wear black it should not have p

Iran 'arrests 12 CIA agents' Influential politician says US spies had been gathering intelligence on military units and nuclear activities Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant, which would be a potential target for US agents. Infact he proved which all salafis also agreed that abu hurriarah as a "mudallis". and bukhari takes majority of hadith from a mudallis rather than from Imam Abu Hanifah, their imam azam.!!!! This point is enough to shatter down the sunni hadith scholarism. Farid tried to bring down the shia hadith knowledge, but the lengthening of debate is revealing more things about abuhurriarah rather than ibrahim ibn hashim. Farid actually started the debate in defence of Abuhurrairah and the tool he choosed to defend was thru bringing down ibrahim bin hashim. And

brother jinn this becomes a language issue abusing something is deviating it from its intended purpose for example can I not use Muta as a vehicle to get green card but in reality i do not have the real intentions of marriage ? I can also I can do that same thing with permanent marriage So these behaviors constitute abuse of these institutions Can I not use permanent marriage as a vehicle to steal the money of my rich wife? Stay six months with her and blackmail her into not writing a prenup and then divorce and steal half her wealth ( using our stupid laws here) Thats what they mean by abuse

  25. A slip of the tongue betrays Israel's hardline propaganda Tony Karon Nov 23, 2011 It's no wonder that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly ordered his defence minister to shut up. Ehud Barak, after all, has a well-established habit of telling inconvenient truths - while running for prime minister in 1999, he was asked what he would do if he had been born Palestinian. He answered:"I would join a terror organisation." That willingness to put himself at odds with Israel's PR line was once again on display last week when Mr Barak was interviewed by the US TV talkshow host Charlie Ros

  28. General people with akhlaq don't have arrogance to label others 'misinformed' or 'insincere'. This is a normal attitude most IRI supporters have, and trust me I've dealt with many in real life. You can see many of these trolls on this website, just look on this thread (repenter, comrade, etc.). They can't discuss without insults/arrogance/trash talk/accusations/etc., and in reality I'm actually kind of glad, it exposes them. There is no freedom of speech in Iran, most IRI supporters on Shiachat prove it unknowingly.

  30. Then in that case they shouldn't implement Islamic rules in a country where the population are not willing to abide by the laws. In this case seeming that Iran has a higher Muslim population then technically they can have Islamic laws however many aspects can't be implemeted during the time of ghayba. From what I've seen there's only a minority that want the current regime to be overthrown. Most people just want Khamenei gone and for there to be reforms. If they co-operate with the people then they wouldn't have such a problem. The thing with the Islamic Revolution was that Khomeini wanted to

Salaam this is off topic but just in case they ban satyaban i wanted to say a few things: Islamic tolerance means if you are in the strong position you do not suppress the weaker because the weaker doesn't effect you. This site is shia and we have a very small number of people from other religions , we need them to question us so we can verify our truth if we really claim to be unbiased followers of pure truth.. We need to make them feel at home to reflect the true face of shia islam which has a wide range of tolerance All the admins are of our belief so its very easy to suppress if they see p

  38. One fundamental prerequisite in the marriages which get consummated is the complete willingness and voluntary consent of both parties. (the girl and the guy) another requirement is the permission of the father for the Virgin who is dependent ( non Rashida) This is unanimous if she is Rashida then she is an independent adult who determines her own intrest and therefore her father can not dictate but can only advice her and hence his permission doesn't constitute a prerequisite. So if a girl is an independent adult who willfully enters a transparent and honnest contract with her absolute choic

    Jesus Is Your Savior

what an interesting topic... As I'm researching about Christianity Theology for 2 years, as my experience, today the most useful and effective in talking to Christians is just talking about our Similarities, not Debating! I wrote some of them as short articles in our website: Real-God.com If you let them know that we believe in most of what they believe then a comparison would clarify the clear difference between Islam and Christianity.

  44. Merdan are you aware there are different types of disbelief which can take you out of fold Islam, Types of kufr (disbelief) - Adapted from 'Tafseer ibn Katheer The Qur'an uses the word kufr to denote a person who covers up or hides realities, one who refuses to accept the dominion and authority of Allāh. There are several types of Al-Kufr ul Akbar: Kufrul-'Inaad: Disbelief out of stubbornness. This applies to someone who knows the truth and admits to knowing the truth and admits to knowing it with his tongue, but refuses to accept it and refrains from making a declaration. The Qur'an states:

  46. Alaykom aslaam, Well done to the OP for remaining disciplined and vigilent enough to avoid haram. Pray that God inshallah rewards you with a pious muslima who has also strived to remain chaste. Your friends probably know too much about deviant sexual behaviour that is absolutely haram (hence you cannot engage in these things anyway) and virtually nothing about how to maintain a happy and healthy sexual relationship in the Islamic sense. This will undoubtedly have a negative effect on their future marriages. If you want to know a bit about Islamic sexual etiquette, see these online books. htt

  48. There is nothing wrong with the question. It is a perfectly legitimate question and as such deserves a legitimate answer. Unfortunately, Mr. Modaressi, as he is wont to do, is again continuing his personal tradition of extinguishing the light of reason and closing the gates to the higher knowledge and sublime wisdom. This particular question in fact played a very large role in my own journey to Shia'ism. The Wahhabis I was with, being ill equipped to answer the question, instead declared the question haram, shaytanic and a "false question." It was through the intellectual tradition of Ahl
