I long for the day this hadith can be implemented in it's entirety: وروى في العلل عن الصحيح عن داود بن فرقد قال: قلت لأبي عبد الله ع: ما تقول في قتل الناصب ؟ قال: حلال الدم ولكن اتقى عليك فإن قدرت أن تقلب عليه حائطا أو تغرقه في ماء لكي لا يشهد به عليك فافعل . قلت فما ترى في ماله ؟ قال: أتوه ما قدرت عليه And it is narrated in al Illal from saheeh (chain of narration) from Dawood b. Farqad who said:I said to abi Abdullah (as): "What do you say about killing the nasib?" Imam (as) said: "The blood is halal but I fear upon you, so if you are able to bring down upon him a wall or drown him in water so that no one witnesses by it upon you then do so." I said: "So what do you consider about his property?" Imam (as) said: "Destroy upon it what you are able to." http://realtashayyu....ruling-for.html If laymen knew this, half of these scumbags would be dead. (wasalam)5 points

Thanks bro, it is an honour to be interviewed by you, and I'm sure your wisdom beats mine any day of the week, maybe not your akhlaaq though :P MashaAllah at me Well to be honest it started off when I realised that if you end up eating something najis then you have eaten something haraam, and because the ahadeeth say that eating something haraam means your prayers and duas wont get accepted for 40 days I started to become very conscious about what was najis and what wasn't, then my worries about najasat grew from there and I started worrying about being najis when praying, because then my prayers won't get accepted :donno: unfortunately I haven't been ziarat before  may Allah (swt) grant us all the oppurtunity to go insha'Allah I wouldn't really be able to tell where I would be in 10 years time, for all I know by 10 years Imam Mahdi (atfs) could have come back (insha'Allah) and I could be living under his rule (even though I will never be worthy), I could be dead (insha'Allah I wont), I could be a lunatic whos gone mad because of his najasat problems looool but the furthest I can see myself is 5 years and in 5 years time I see myself Graduating from ICAS, and where I will go from there (i.e. become a lecturer, study further, translate books) only Allah (swt) knows, I myself don't know what I want to do in the future, I also see myself running my own business in 5 years time insha'Allah, possibly something that could earn me a decent wage, but also help out people around the world who need our help, the oppressed, the poor etc.. Well I met Yasoob id deen, hawraa29 and koko313 last wednesday, it was fun :D .. I met them at a seminar about the Qur'an and tahreef, I didn't really see them for long, only for around 20 minutes, I baked a snickers cake and took it with me .. Hawraa and Koko love it but Yasoob said it didn't taste like snickers -.- I also met Kamran-Syed, Ali H Syed, and Al-Hadi on friday, they came down to where I live to meet my mum and dad so when it comes to muharram my parents let me go masjid with them, we went chicken cottage twice B) We also went to an event about the Qur'an and if it can contain everything in it At the event I saw sayed ammars brother :o .. but I didnt shake his hand :( I also saw Mystery-* (Al-Hadi's sister) for a brief few seconds  .. and Last Chance was there but I didnt see her :donno: It was a fun day, only bad thing was it was the wafat of Imam al Jawad (a.s) so it was inappropriate to be joking about all the time and stuff, alhamdulillah I enjoyed it and I'm gonna see them in a couple weeks time again, and I'm gonna see Mushu as well insha'Allah :D I originally found shiachat to be an alright place, kinda boring, I used to come on here for a few months to get answers to questions, then once I had a question which I couldn't find on ShiaChat so I made an account and asked the question, I still found it a bit boring until I got 50 posts and went into the chatroom, the only reason I kept coming back was because of Al-Hadi, Kamran-Syed and Enlightened_x they all made me feel welcome, then gradually I got to know more people and now I'm addicted and Love ShiaChat Unfortunately I haven't travelled much. The best place I have been would probably be takhte jamshid (throne of jamshid) in Iran. It's a historical place in Shiraz, if my memory is correct, it's like a massive place, there are statues, pillars, carvings in the walls etc., it was fun walking around seeing the different historical things, unfortunately I didnt get to go to the furthest part which I really wanted to, if I go again then insha'Allah I will I used to play PS3 alot, but then when I started following Islam I found it to be quite a waste of time, now I would love to start playing again but I doubt about my controller being najis, and I dont have the money to buy a new controller and games so I guess I will just wait till I get money or not play anymore. My favourite game when I did play it alot was probably Black Ops, I used to play it hours everyday, I played online alottttt with my friends and also with people I didnt know, another one of my favourite games is probably Grand Theft Auto IV .. I loved playing it going around the city, shooting people, stealing cars, running people over :shaytan: .. I sometimes played online with that game too Now though I don't like games that I would have to play on my own, I hate doing things on my own hence why I find ShiaChat fun because it's always interacting with others, so if I did start playing PS3 again then I would only buy games which I could play online with my friends .. so yeah I guess you could say I'm an online gamer hmm .. I would be "Red Chilli" cos I have a short temper (some people might not believe me but trust me I do :/) "Pineapple" cos I'm sweet :P .. and Thin Crust with Cheese inside because I'm not fat but I'm not skinny either My best friend is someone from my secondary school. The reason for this is he has always been good to me, he is Shi`a aswell and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be the kind of Muslim that I am today, thanks to him I learnt many rules, thanks to him I started getting more into religion and ultimately if it wasn't for him I would probably be on the wrong path right now. He is a funny guy, loves making jokes about sunnis and umar  ... always backed me up in school if there was any trouble, helps me to remember Allah (swt) and he is the safest person I have ever met :D hmm .. I definitely learnt the majority of my deen on the internet, I learnt by listening to lectures mainly those by sayed ammar nakshawani, talking to my best friend, reading through ayatollah sistani's website, shiachat (the forum and chatroom) How many wahabbis does it take to change a light bulb? None it's bid'ah How many wahabbis does it take to change a car tyre? None it's bid'ah How many wahabbis does it take to send an online version of the Qur'an via email? None, using the internet is bid'ah, Online Qur'an is also Bid'ah I'd just like to say sorry if my answers went on a bit much, or if I ended up writing about stuff that weren't related to the questions.4 points

(salam) Granted if everything else is done correctly, it is halal. Islam's conditions for marriage are not very restricting - a marriage can last any amount of time and anything of relative value can validate as a mahr. It's not prostitution, because the woman must observe an `idda period after the mut`a has expired. Prostitutes don't observe `idda, and if someone violates their `idda after a marriage, they have committed a sin. Sex is not evil, it just needs to be encased in the proper boundaries. Mut`a is a protection for women, because if she becomes pregnant, her husband is responsible by shari`a to provide for her and the child that is born through the mut`a. For the naysayers, remember that the Prophet, Ahl al-Bayt, and many of the companions did mut`a in their lifetimes. And back then, mut`a wasn't just used as an introduction to a long-term relationship, it was used more for the short term.2 points

Syria And Bahrain The Secterian Hypocricy
breeze and one other reacted to alimohamad40 for a topic
salaam sorry I have not answered things here but i have been following and learning from your arguments... I agreed with the mods that basra made things hard by repeating and pasting too much irrelevant stuff but I thought they should just warn him and he would stop. any way i have been following pressTV and Al alam.ir and Aljazeera and i have been comparing their coverage what i realized is that the iranian channels are doing a FOXnews job on Syria without any doubt in the past week or two 10s of protesters have been reported dead by aljazeera and other channels but when you look at the iranian channels all you see is 5 headlines two of them are boasting about how there was a huge pro asad rally!!!!! so what? since when can you determine majorities by rallies and in the streets? even the green movement rallied huge protests. even qathafi and yemens dictators rallied marches supporting them? didnt sayed Ali khamenie say to the green movement "if things could allways be determined in the streets then why do we have the ballot boxes for?" the other few headlines were about 2 syrian soldiers were killed by terroorist gangs Arab league met with al asad For gods sake isn't this the same as FOXNEWS? you have 10s of Palestinians getting killed and all you hear is one poor israelie got kidnapped (not captured but kidnapped) As muslims As hizbullah as people of Tashayu this goes against our very integrity and we can not continue this the reason i am writing is because i just read that Bashar al asad himself admitted that his troops shot at protestors at the start here is the article http://www.aljazeera...?GoogleStatID=1 وأضاف "أي مشكلة في سوريا ستحرق المنطقة بالكامل. إذا كانت الخطة هي تقسيم سوريا فسيعني ذلك تقسيم كل المنطقة". وأقر الأسد بأن قواته اقترفت أخطاء عديدة في بداية الاحتجاجات التي اندلعت منتصف مارس/آذار الماضي, لكنه قال إن "الإرهابيين" وحدهم يجري استهدافهم الآن. asad admitted that his troops made many mistakes at the start of the protest but he said now only the terrorists which are being targeted this means he is admitting that they targeted normal protesters as the opposition is claiming but where is the news of these deaths and injuries on presstv or alalam? Bashar al asad himself is more honnest than those who are trying to defend his system it turned out its like foxnews of america on the zionist entity// the zionist entity itself is more honnest than foxnews and more selfcritical and reports stuff that never make it to the press in the USA just now a new update 50 military of Syria have been killed by defected army members. this stuff is alarming2 points -

1 Hour Mut'ah , No Witnesses
Çåá ÇáÈíÊ and one other reacted to Haydar Husayn for a topic
There are some differences other than the muta formula (which is nevertheless still important, and shouldn't be so easily dismissed). A child born out of muta is legitimate, whereas on born of zina is not. A woman who has a muta has to observe iddah, while a woman who commits zina probably won't. A virgin girl would need to permission of her a father before having a muta, while a girl who commits zina is unlikely to ask. These are things that make practical differences. If you want to discuss the logic, then that's fine, but what your heart tells you is completely subjective, and is influenced a great deal by cultural norms. It is clear that you start from the assumption that sex is by nature something that needs to be tightly regulated, or else it is wrong, and you have trouble accepting that the opposite might be the case. Personally, I'm really having trouble seeing what the issue is here. Two people enter into a contract before God, and have sex. What exactly are the negative repercussions supposed to be? Nobody was forced into anything. If a child is born, he knows who his father is. Can someone actually pinpoint what it is that bothers them so much? As for the ahadith, we can go round and round about this, but you have yet to provide any kind of objective criteria for what makes them dodgy other than the fact that you don't like them. The fact is that the ahadith on muta are so numerous that if you are willing to reject them, then there is hardly any other aspect of Shia faith or practice that couldn't also be rejected for similarly arbitrary reasons. If there were only one or two ahadith with dodgy chains, then you might have a point, but this is far from the case. It's ok to be sceptical, but you need to have some objective standard of proof you will accept.2 points -
Heh, here we go again, the assertion that the only reason secular sexual morality is immoral is not because its detrimental to individuals/families/society for ppl to be promiscuous, cheat and indulge their base desires to the exclusion or compromising of more self controlled, responsible and dignified behaviour, but simply because ppl dont recite the muta marriage formula before they do it. And ppl bemoan the secular permissive society as if they have some sort of moral high ground on the matter, when all they have if some dodgy ahadith. The motivations and results are the same of course, but if you can drag up hadith to justify your weak and/ or selfish behaviour (and you always can and will) what does it matter what logic or your heart tells you, you can shag away like a dog on heat like the rest and say 'yeah but we have this ahadith see...'. Please continue.2 points

Salams to all This is a very good topic that I think needs to be discussed. I just have a few points to make . First everyone has a culture. There is no such a thing as a human with no culture. A simple proof of this is that the main characteristic of a culture is language. Since everyone speaks a language it means they also have a culture. Then you can say that you come from a certain subculture or a sub-sub culture ( like bodybuilding blue haired grandmothers who listen to death metal). It is like those old anatomy textbooks with the different layers of clear plastic placed on top of each other. Everyone has some layers in common and some that are different. Like most of us here speak English so we have that layer in common. Then there are some here who are bilingual so they have two layers superimposed. Then there is layers for region etc. So to say that I come from a totally diferent culture from this person is usually not true because you might have some layers in common. Religion is seperate from culture and much more important. 2. Culture is not haram and even loving your culture is not haram. What is haram is believing that you are better than someione else based on the fact that you are from this culture and they are from thatone or believing that your culture is better than theirs. Most of your culture depends on which spot on this earth you were born at and what family you were born into. Since none of us had any control over that I don't see the point in taking too much pride in it or using it as a means of distinction over others. We are what we believe and what actions we take based on those beliefs. Our culture is a part of us but we shouldn't let it define us.2 points

If that is what both people want, then where is the problem? Why should the details of a lawful private contract between two people be anyone else's business? What's ironic is that one of the few circumstances in which certain people will accept muta is when the man is travelling. But clearly, if a man has a job that requires frequent travel, he will not be able to contract a very long muta in any given location. Perhaps one hour is a bit extreme, but they would certainly be mutas of short length.2 points -

Allowed Or Not --- New Islamic Rules ( Part1)
Dawud1UK reacted to imaan=faith for a topic
(salam) Today I decided to start a series of topics in which explains new Islamic rules which is common but you can not find them on your Marja'a book...like the rule of "Playing Piano" if it's haram or not...etc. so my source is a special books called "Istita'at" means new issues which are asked from our Marajee. Note: Any questions can be asked here... -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- what if we participate in parties like Wedding ceremonies which Musics is used within? Ayatullah Khamene'ee : It's harram, if it be an encouragment for one who do the sin. Ayatullah sistani: It's not allowed to participate, if the party be for Binge... Ayatullah Safi : it's not allowed. 2.What is the rule of trading (buying or selling) Musical instruments like Guitar, Piano, violin, etc ? Ayatullah Khamne'ee: Buying or selling instruments which are used for Haram is not allowed Ayatullah Bahjat : it's not allowed. Ayatullah Makarem: As today these are used for Haram actions, it's not allowed. Ayatullah Safi: it's not allowed. 3.What's the rule of Shaving and using Tie ? Ayatullah Khamene'ee: Shaving is Harram / it's better to avoid using tie. Ayatullah Bahjat : Shaving is not allowed, either all or one part of it. Ayatullah Sistani: for obligatory cautios it's not allowed / using tie, if it be results to sins, it's not allowed *. ( it means maybe as wearing tie makes muslims like non muslims, if it makes the enemy's population more powerful (because Muslims seems to be one of them) it's harram.) Ayatullah Makarem: cautios is in not shaving, / and it's better not to use tie, but if it spreads the culture of non-muslims, it's not allowed. 4.are the action of fortune-tellers valid? / how about paying them money? Ayatullah Khamene'ee: It's Harram Ayatullah Bahjat : It's not valid by Islam Ayatullah Makarem: They're action valid and they must not be paid money.1 point -

If you share your opinion with the media you are sharing it with the enemy(?) 4. You can't know a sheik by his clothing. Is that a real sheik suit or a Sear's sheik suit? 5 You can pick your nose and you can pick your friends but you can't pick your friends’ noses. With all due respect you are not doing justice here. What about Umm-e-Salma (ra) who cared of Hasnain (as) after Hazrat Zahra (as). What about other chaste and momina wives of Prophet (pbuh)? Do not make your own Islam, stick to principals. Now as far as Hazrat Khadija (as), who can reach her levels, she being among the top 4 women of the universe, Hz. Zahra (as) being the leader of the four. I sincerely think Allah will ask us about Aisha in particular among many other things. Remember Twwalla and Tabarra in the furo'd deen, it is wajib to associate yourself with the lovers of Allah and wajib to reject yourself from the enemies of Allah. Besides knowing history if Islam is also wajib to understand who is the right successor of Prophet (pbuh). Remember 1/3rd of Quran is stories of the past (asateerl ul awwaleen), and it is for having us learn to how to lead our lives now.1 point -
