  1. We are the Shaytani Afrika Korps The Leader's bold troop We storm out like the devil Spoil the Tommy's soup We are not afraid of heat and desert sand We defy the thirst and sunburn Marching with the clock of our drum Forward! Forward! Forwards with our Habib! The British fear us like the plague They sit on hot coals We will avenge, avenge Gaza and Iraq That was once cowardly stolen from us Netanyahu and Obama's anger is inflamed We vanquish the enemies in each country It beats the drum marching orders Forward! Forward! Forwards with our Habib! Us united in struggle and in victory Lebanese troops march Until one day the sun of peace appears to us And again we go into Kenya. But when I found the enemy bullet in my flesh Sun, let me rest in the desert sand And beat the drum again Forwards with our Habib!

  2. I wanted to tell You my deepest fears; but I could find no words to describe what I meant. I wanted to tell You the source of my tears, but just as I began, they dried up, silent. I wanted to explain why I had lost hope, but I was too ashamed, so I hoped my silence would speak. I wanted to cry my heart out to You, again and again, but my eloquence failed even in tears. I wanted to leave all others, and turn only to You, but I was too weak, thus I hopped back and forth. I wanted to be certain, unshakeable, firm as a rock, but I wavered in my convictions, and lost my right of audience. I wanted to be enveloped, protected and sheltered in Your care, but it was I who moved away, then bemoaned my state. I wanted to tell one who would hear, before I said a word, I wanted one who would comfort, before I shed a tear, I wanted one who would come to my aid, despite my neglect in asking, and my impatience in seeking. I wanted one who would not condemn me, and turn me away for my constant slips. I wanted so much, so much more than I could find the words to say. I wanted too much, but You heard, and You gave me so much more. ~S http://scentedscroll.blogspot.com/2011/09/i-wanted-you-heard.html

    The Story Of My Braces

(bismillah) You need to go back to your dentist and get your braces re-checked asap. Walk-in to their office and let them know that you are in pain. I am sure they will accommodate you and do something about it. In the mean time, take some milk, soup or other soft diets. WS

    Family Abuse.

(salam) I generally hate abuser. I always tell people to report abusers to the authority because that it the only effective way to stop it. But in your case if you report your own family member (your own brother) to cop, then it would have a very bad and negative impact on your old parents. Are your parents dependent on your brother? The best course of action (and this is not without risk), to tell your abuser brother that if he hit you again then you will report him to the cop. And let the bully know that you don’t fear his physical aggregation or his intimidation. And you will take action if he hits you again. The other option is to find a cheaper accommodation somewhere else where you are not constantly being abused. But do you have the financial resources to live on your own? Running away from home is really the worse thing a girl can do.

  9. You were fighting Israel? That lovely ruler of yours was getting it down with the lowlife scumbags Bush and Arafat. That traitor will never come anywhere NEAR the resistance of Lebanon and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. WE were the only ones with our heads screwed on, because we fought the war ourselves without the need of anybody; whereas you guys, are still suffering the aftermath of Saddam's doings. What good did he ever do to you except get you guys in the mess that you're in now? Who are you to say that Saudi's leader is a puppet? lol the irony. You guys did jack for yourselves and for the Arab nations because you were too busy living it up with the others, so you have no right to come anywhere near what resistance is. Your definition of resistance is terrorism and killing innocent Muslims and jumping as high as Bush asked you to. That and blowing yourselves up. Aw tough guy. Don't worry I'm sure he will get the lofty position on the lines of Yazid, inshaa'Allah :) For now, I leave you to admire this:

  10. My teeth are in pain from today morning's braces monthly maintenance. The dentist pulled the string that holds my braces and like every time I'm in pain for a few days until the gum that holds them is strong again. But this time for some reason I'm being more sensitive to the pain. I'm hungry, I'm trying to eat Froot Loops at midnight and I can't due to the pain. Every time I chew I feel like the teeth is being removed without the numbing dental injection. I was having a headache but it's gone and it comes back every now and then. My jaw hurts and I can't open it as widely as I'm supposed to be able to cause I start to feel like the whole row of my teeth is being unplugged. I hope Allah (Ó) isn't making me experience this pain just for the sake of having straight white clean teeth. I want Allah (Ó) to be making me experience this pain so He (Ó) forgives my sins and becomes pleased with me. My teeth are temporary but I and Allah are forever. May Allah (Ó) bless you if you cared about me and even more if you prayed for me.

  18. I am ignorant, but from what I can observe from the lives of our best ulama (such as Imam Khomeini), it is recommended to live on the minimal level of material comfort. However, this is not acceptable if it involves completely severing yourself from the outside world (like many Buddhist and Christian monks do), or making halal haraam (like practicing celibacy). There is a hadith from Imam Ali where he says it is bad to eat nothing but meat for 40 days, but it is also bad to not eat any meat for 40 days. (don't remember the exact words or the source). There is also a hadith where some women came to the Prophet and said that their husbands fast every day, pray salaatul layl every night, and do not touch them. The Prophet said that they are not from him; that some days he fasts and some days he does not, that some nights he prays salaatul layl and some nights he spends with his wives. It is above me to draw conclusions from hadith, but these hadith support what the most pious among us today say and do. If we define asceticism as self-denial, then every religion supports some form of asceticism. (Fasting is, in this case, a form of asceticism). But if we take it a step further and add celibacy and complete isolation and self-starvation, then no. Fasting is acceptable within its Islamic limits. Isolation is acceptable within its Islamic limits (like i'tikaf). Allahu a'lam.

Sure they are not exactly the best government but anything else is going to be worse for the shia, there is no chance in hell that a new governed Syria will be any where near as good as it is now. Mark my words if the regime in syria changes all hell will break lose. The current government not good but is by far the best thing available.

  24. Gender politics or warfare have no place in Islam. Just as women shouldn't reject elements of Islam because in their ignorance they feel that they are unfair to their gender, neither should men use those elements in an attempt to put women down, and neither should they rub women's faces in it. To do so just reinforces their belief that these laws genuinely are unfair, which is not the case, and is not the impression a Muslim should be seeking to give. While I don't like the attitudes of some of the women on here, who have little respect for their religion, or those who try and uphold it, the majority are simply confused and misled but have no bad intentions. It's not that easy to go from fiction to reality in a short space of time. Therefore, some effort should be made in order to adopt a tone that won't scare off the less stubborn of the women who may be reading or posting.

  28. He has full knowledge of the Quran up to the point it was revealed obviously. On the other hand, I believe that the Quran was completely revealed into his heart from the beginning of his Prophethood, so that everything he did was in accordance with the Quran. I don't believe all the verses were revealed to him in one go however, because to me that leads to some rather absurd conclusions. Given what I have said, the Prophet would know have to know if something was halal or haraam, since he always acted in line with the Quran, but would not have to know what his wife got up to behind his back, or everything else going on in the world for that matter. I think what some of you need to do is go through a version of the Seerah of the Prophet (pbuh) that you trust, and at every point keep in mind that the Prophet (pbuh) had all this knowledge and power that you think he did. Because when I do that, the whole thing becomes rather ridiculous, and reads like one giant play, with the Prophet, Imam Ali (as), Bibi Fatima (as), and Jibrael (as), just playing their roles in a script.

    Mecca Or Las Vegas?

The worst destruction they have caused is controlling the minds of million "Muslims" who are too ignorant to see through their plots. All surrounding countries have been infected with this disease, and the destruction of Islamic sites is just the material manifestation .. The tip of the iceberg .. The cherry on the cake .. Soon their alliance with shaytan (awuthu biLah) will lead to their destruction. Allah SWT places limits on everything; and these symptoms are approaching these limits soon insha Allah. I wish to see their painful and humiliating destruction before I die. And if I die b4 that, I hope Allah SWT will let me watch their demise anyway, so that I can "rest in peace". The word that keeps on coming to mind with those Saudi / wahabi / salafi .. Is .. " D.I.S.G.U.S.T.I.N.G " .. A common theme with those ... YUCK!!! .. Filth .. Yusuf Ali 9:97 The Arabs of the desert are the worst in Unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger: But Allah is All-knowing, All-Wise. .. I think this aya refers to them spot-on. Not many desert Arabs can compete with them. (salam) (salam)

  33. LOL Mr Higgins i have one question for you ! Answer me this honestly Why didnt Saddam Invade Israel ? Why did he invade another MUSLIM country instead ? Who gained most from Saddams actions ? it sure as hell wasnt Saddam or the PLO lol As for the PLO and South Lebanon, why were they in the Jnoob to start with ? mate the PLO had more weapons back then , then Hezbollah do now, and they disintergrated like the cowards they are. They opted to deal drugs, kill each other, and set up check points and cause havoc !!! Imad Mughniya, big whoop, do you want a cookie or something ? havent you heard of the saying, "i dont want to be your friend, but i dont want to be your enemy either" ? this is business buddy and you guys suck at it lol Saddam was found in a hole under ground, like the rat he was, and was hung on live TV , by the very same masters he served so loyally lol... Your a fool bro seriously P.S if thats how you deal with us in lebanon, then no wonder why you guys got slaughtered ! and one more note, remember alot of the people who died in sabra and chatilla were shia, so get over it the only reason there was a NAKBA is because you cowards ran off... THe difference between the Jnoobis and the PLO is we didnt leave our villages, after 20 years of occupation, then cry foul play when your occupiers had free unihabitated land ! Stop blaming the Lebanese and the Arabs and whoever else you want to point the finger at, listen to a little Michael Jackson, and start with the Man In the Mirror, because you guys only have YOURSELVES to blame ! Now go suck up to the UN like the slaves you are, and ask the Germans how far that got them, when they sucked up to the League of Nations prior WW2 !!! You guys are a joke, and your 2 favourite leaders are DEAD lol and they died by the hands of their MASTERS, the Americans and Israelis !!! Pathetic, truely P.S a realll solider is not a wimp to wear ear muffs when firing an RPG lol

  38. (salam) Well with circumcision you wouldn't be able to tell 100% whether its a muslim or not due to the fact that many non muslims particularly jews also get circumcised due to religious reasons. And many non believers get circumsiced due to health related benefits. I think the only way to be able to tell if that dead man or dead woman was a muslim/muslimah would be to get hold of their family or someone they know and ask them .. how you would find their family Allah (swt) knows. 39. (salam) (bismillah) I agree with you that this hadeeth al-kisaa', the oft-repeated du`aa, is not attributed to our Ahl al-Bayt, but you have grossly misinterpreted this verse. When Allaah (SWT) says "we do not differentiate between any of His messengers" it is in regards to the message they sent, not in terms of faDaa'il. Because even Allaah (SWT) differentiates between the Prophets, calling some Nabi and some Rasool (look at 19:40-60). Not only that, he also makes a differentiation and called 5 prophets as ulul `azm (go to 46:35). We have SaHeeH (Authentic) hadeeth specifically making differentiation between the A'immah for example (i.e. Imaam `Alee > other A'immah). No doubt, I am not a fan of getting into the argument of are the A'immah are better than the Anbiyaa'. My stance on that is to do tawaqquf (desist) from taking a position, just like al-Toosi did. But, differentiation have been made throughout the Qur'aan and aHaadeeth between the Prophets. (salam)

  40. Salams, First you have to define what you mean by white. Do you mean light skin or European / Caucasian features or both? I have met some Iranians and Lebanese who have very light skin. Your issue is a legitimate issue, Islamically, b/c in order to have a good and healthy marriage relationship you must be physically attracted to your spouse (I think the reasons are obvious). At the same time you have to take some things into consideration. If you are looking for a caucasian, male, shia revert to Islam (Canadian or American) you have to understand that these are very rare (and I know b/c I am one of them, happily married :shifty: ). All the ones I know are married. Also, you said you feel uncomfortable around non Iranians, so I'm not sure that even if you found one the marriage would work because of this issue. I think your best option is to find a practicing Iranian who is light skinned w/ caucasian features (I have seen some like this in my community but all are married). Also, to all those who are going to raise a hue and cry about racism, I don't think that is what she is saying. She is not saying that Iranians are bad, she is just saying that she is not attracted to certain types and features. I think just about everyone is similar on this, just different as to what features they are attracted / not attracted to. Also, she lives in Canada, home to the whitest of the white people. If she lived in the U.S, she would probably have different tastes since most 'white people' here are mixed with something else.

    Co Wife Question

If your husband hasn't married this woman, either permantly or temporarily, then he is committing a grave sin, and you don't have to put up with what he is doing. You also don't have to share a house with another woman if you don't want to. If he isn't capable of providing seperate living accomodation for another wife, then he should stick to having one wife. Just because polygamy is allowed, it doesn't mean your husband can do whatever he wants. I think you need to read up on your rights and his responsibilities, because it sounds to me like he is taking serious liberties. Polygamy is halal, but it needs to be within the bounds of sharia.

Marry a women for her money and Allah will give you only that But marry a woman for her RELIGION, then Allah will gather allllllll those merits for you ! "A Bundle Of Flowers" After being single for a while and meeting many many many women, the one i eventually settled with, is as i believe, a match made in heaven for me ! If it wasnt for her love of Islam and the way she understands it, then it would reflect on her attitude in life. She is smart, she is funny, she is beautiful, she is sweet, yet most importantly she is religious , and when you have a religious decent God fearing girl, i dont know how to explain it, other then by saying that Allah swt, is the best of all planners. I feel a way i have never felt before. Now i cant say this is only because she is religious, no, because i had met many many many religious girls in the past. At the end of the day it all boils down to Naseeb, and if its meant to be, its meant to be. Love is a blessing. Im very sorry to hear about Pakistani culture, i wish the best for those girls who are forced into arranged marriages ! the guys too lol Humdellah i am blessed in many aspects of my life. He is providing a real fruitful lesson on this video and its real easy to follow along. In this video he is going over Surah Naba (Chapter 78) verses 1 thru 20. So just open up your Quran and follow along with him and pay careful attention to his mouth so that you can try to imitate his facial expressions to articulate the proper sounds of each letter in the Holy Quran. MashAllah this brother does an excellent job in breaking it down for the normal person. So get your Quran's out and have fun reciting the Holy Quran with proper pronunciation (tajweed) and inshallah with tarteel (beautiful melodic voice) This video he is reciting Surah 'Abasa (Chapter 80) and going over the entire Chapter.
