An Unsent Poem To Anonymous.
habib e najjaar and one other reacted to Servidor for a topic
I found this poem looking through some of my notes today. I have been asked a few times to post a poem on the forum. And so I shall post it. Mark well - it was written when I was a younger man. Before I had developed my solid, imperturbable Roman exterior. It says nothing of me now. I am forgotten. Distance has made me no more to you. Your happiness keeps you from seeing me sad. My sadness keeps me from your happiness keeps me from mine you. I am broken. I shall not break your happiness. It is without me. It is without even a memory of me. What do I write? I am forgotten And you are happy. And you are because I am forgotten. I suppose the sub-title should be - Dumb broad. Go to art school. See if I care. You're stupid. I don't. Shut up. No you're acting immature. I don't want to hear it! What?2 points -

How To Become A Shia?

Yes, if it is made permissible some people completely ignore the guidelines and think they can do a complete rearrangement down there. Most of them are not doing it when a girl is a few days old....they are doing it much later, and the recovery is horrible where they can't even walk, but when men have it done later in life they walk out of the clinic or hospital the same day.2 points

Post #187 is not from me...it was pasted from a website with fatwas from Fadlallah....follow the links and you will see other ones he made when he was alive. This is the first time I have ever looked into FGM to be honest, but I do know that Fadlallah did condemn it, while Sistani doesn't condemn it. This is also the first time I have heard of the Imams supporting this and it is shocking....does that mean that the Imam's wives and daughters were circumcised.....perhaps someone here knows? Did it also have mindless rants about how uncircumcised women promote homosexuality and incest or how the giant clitoris will annoy her husband? LOL2 points -

Chapter Two - The Messenger I As the resplendent sun rises from ash beyond the horizon Kufa stares at me with welcoming eyes Distant rays wake the trees And leaves feed on morning’s sight The dusty land welcomes me As the wind behind me displays its might The people flock hesitantly but pledge With warm palms, revelling in delight I ponder whether the pores of their souls Will open or narrow to the light? II The shroud of night falls and the day takes a bow Kufa stares at me behind its veil of darkness now But this time not a voice nor a whisper of a vow Wandering with the wind, listening to its howls As loneliness teases me with death Holding onto the beacon of hope with every breath The many warm affectionate eyes Now turn stone as they blink away Leaving me in the darkness Of the shadow of another day III Throwing their hearts of stone at me They are like the leaves that have voluntarily Let go of the safe branch of their tree To drift in the wind, aimlessly All is black; the world has left my shoulder A messenger with less than a candle holder As I travel out between their souls Souls like hollow caves Swallowing me in their darkness As cowardice finds its slaves IV Now I lay battered, wounded and torn Blood tracing the creases I adorn But no blood could dampen The message this messenger has sent No thirst could sway nor pain torment The sun turns away in shame while the air in fear is still The swords wag their tongues and vultures hover ‘till the kill’ Birds seek shelter while the people lock their doors Their hearts deserted me as guilt is littered all around Death is feasting here without a sound V My heart I feel shatter all over my woeful soul Shallow breaths have given way Heaven has been laced on my tongue today Thrown from height to seal the deed of trust I fall here from dust of dust An angelic arm softens my fall Releasing me once and for all My cage is finally broken; this messenger can seek the sky My sleeping wings awaken, ready to stretch and fly My soul seeking Hussain but Hussain is yet to die VI So here I lay waiting, buried in the dust Of the land that has betrayed the oath of trust But one day nations will tremble Falling gracefully to their knees As Kufa will be the capital of the seven seas And People will remember me, Muslim One of many luminous chapters Of loyalty never to be forgotten Taher Adel Short character biography: Muslim Ibn Aqeel – Muslim Ibn Aqeel was the cousin of Imam Hussain(as) , like many of the offspring of Bani Hashem, Muslim was an excellent warrior and a loyal companion. Imam Hussain(as) sent Muslim as a messenger to confirm the loyalty of the people of Kufa where he was brutally betrayed and slaughtered after battling heroically defending the message of the Imam of his time. This is a poem about a symbol of fortitude. Courage, loyalty and faith personified. His final hour summarise the heart-wrenching reality of Islam, as he walked in the streets of Kufa a stranger in the face of treachery and deceit. “Islam will again be a stranger among men, as it was in the beginning, but blessed is the state of the stranger.” Chapter One - The Free (Hurr Ibn Yazid Alriyahi) Chapter Two - The Messenger (Muslim Ibn Aqueel) Chapter Three - The Loyal (Habib Ibn Muthahir) Chapter Four - The Passionate (Aabis) Chapter Five - The Heartbroken (Ruqayya Bint Alhussain) Chapter Six - The Heir (Qassim Ibn Alhassan) Chapter Seven - The Worshipper (Imam Zaynul Abideen as) Chapter Eight - The Beloved (Sayeda Zainab as) Chapter Nine - The Brave (Ali Al-Akbar Ibn Alhussain as) Chapter Ten - The Innocent (Ali Al-Asghar Ibn Alhussain as) Chapter Eleven - The Selfless (Abbas Ibn Ali as) Chapter Twelve - The Chosen (Hussain Ibn Ali as)2 points

A Far Fetched Analysis On The Future Of Bahrain
Waiting for HIM reacted to Noah- for a topic
Well, the problem is that lately any religious Sunni we see is nothing but a FULL WAHABI.... You are an example here... You are here like other Wahabis: mad, shouting and barking instead of discussing in a civilized manner. Making excuse on anything to insult Shias, for a Wahabi even the font-color of a text which is really non of your business is something that you need to show madness on and complain like a loser. Grow up kid! You see, you Wahabi Salafi Takfiris are the cause of fitna on this planet. You people are simple jealous because of Shias government in Iran and Shias improvement worldwide. What is your religion anyways? Killing innocent people in mosques, markets, churches, and in your entire history you failed to send at least a few Wahabi groups to Palestine to fight real soldiers in Israel. That is all what you losers are. When it came to IRAQ you all were barking that Shias sided with America... Where we all know that Saddam was the worst fascist and atheist on the planet and America's invasion wasn't Shias fault, but still you sided with those Baathist against Shias... by excusing America you killed millions of innocent Iraqis. What about now? When it comes to SYRIA, now you forgot all about NATO and America support to Wahabi-Takfiri movements? Now, all you see is the innocent 2700 people? What happened to close to a million innocent Iraqis killed in their homes, in their mosques and in their markets? Those killings were justified under the pretext of fighting the Iraqi government? While you monafiq people forgot all about American presence in Bahrain, in Kuwait, in Saudi and other Gulf states.. If you don't feel sympathy for innocent people of Bahrain and close to a million Iraqis killed by wild animal Sunnis, I have no reason to feel sorry for 2700 members of terrorist groups in Syria. Actually, more than half of that 2700 were killed by Salafi terrorist groups and were government soldiers and police.1 point -
This little bangladeshi guy Justic... is so offended by peaceful conclusion of the Syrian crisis as if someone choked his loved one to death. Ya, feel it. They will stand against Zionist forces be it in Syria or in Bahrain. In Bahrain it is Al-khalifa who is the puppet of Zionist and in Syria it is the Salafi-Takfiri movements who sold themselves to Zionists politics and built a government in exile under the leadership of NATO. Speak of your monafiq Qaradhawi, who supports Muslims in Egypt, but then supports dictator Khalifa Zionist agent in Bahrain and Zionist agents in Syria. I have no idea, why admins of this site allow these kinds of people, a hater, low life person to come here and insult people and shia personalities. Polygamy or Polyandry are also supposedly considered as some sort of violation of human rights. The problem with this sort of reasoning that seems to be the norm of our contemporary times is that its awfully shallow and void of any realistic understanding of the negated concepts. Its akin to Paris Hilton saying that since there is no bread for the starving Africans, they should resort to eating Big Macs or Donuts. Its absurd. Then again most of the moral based derivatives are absurd and shallow. The current value system that our contemporary 'human rights' are derived from is a European one that is imposed onto the world and legitimized by so called researches or academic writings. The problem with it is that it is blind, ignorant, arrogant, and terribly selfish. Its a slick and modern version of colonialism.1 point

Where was it cited nowhere. Many have said it is but where is in written, in Shariah? If it is law it is much more than recomended. This is a question no one will address. ....and how does one establish difference between fact and fiction? The job of a historian is not to prove every account; rather record accounts at various occassions and from different perspectives for the benefit of future generations. It is because of the recorded history of the past that we are able to understand how Imam Ali a.s was right and Muawiyah was wrong, Imam Hussain a.s was right and Yazeed was wrong e.t.c All of the historical references alligned with the well known knowledge possessed by Ahl-ul-bayt, their patience, tolerance and their attempt to save Islam has been recorded in various historical books of our religion which no muslim (of a sect) can deny.1 point

[MERGED] Taqleed To A Mujtahed?
Ya Aba 3abdillah reacted to Orion for a topic
(bismillah) Some important points to note from the "Akhbari" groups accusations against each other: “Akhbaris” from hubeali.com accuse Maulana Wahid-u-deen Haider (al-Akhbari) of using Qiyas and Aql as under: “But he still goes ahead and tries to take only few words of a Hadith and uses his own ‘Qias’ (analogy) and ‘aql’ (intellect) to defend his stance/fabrication/Biddah. In his write-up Wahid-u-Deen attempts to prove that Allahazwj introduces Allahazwj, and one Allahazwj is Allahazwj and the other one is Aliasws or that one is Zahir (apparent) and other is Batin (hidden),..” (hubeali.com) They latter accuse him of practicing “Ijtehad”: “After only writing three pages, Wahid-u-Deen, surely, runs out of steam and starts wrangling with the Holy Hadith, in an attempt to prove his Ijtihad on another topic, which he himself later criticises Ijtihad, on the very next page (page no 4).” (hubeali.com) Maulana Wahid-u-deen Haider responds to the allegations against him as follows (in Roman urdu): "Arefullah billah par mazeed guftagu karne se qabl itna aapke zan ko ilm mein tabdeel karne ki qatir yeh kehna chahta hoon ke tafakkur ko qayas nahi kehte" Translation: "Before discussing further on Arefullah billah let me for the sake of converting your Zan (opinion) in Ilm (knowledge) say that Tafakkur is not called Qiyas." (Maulana Wahid-u-deen Haider) and "Marefat ke baab mein aap mujh par qayas ka fatwa jaari kar diye hairat hai ek momin hone ke naatey itna to janna chahiye ke sabse afzal tareen ibadat marefat hai, tafakkur hai" “In the matters of Marifat you have issued a fatwa of practicing Qiyas on me. It is surprising that being a Momin you should have known that the biggest form of worship of God (Ibadat) is Marifat and Tafakkur. (Maulana Wahid-u-deen Haider) ^^ So as we can see what one calls as Tafakkur (intellectual pondering) and the Marifat (reaching the deep/inner meaning) other party calls it Ijtehad and use of Aql (reasoning). Those familiar with my previous discussions know that I have said that the Usooli –Akhbari debate is all about words and definations and has little or no substance. Both Usooli and Akhbari schools use reasoning (Aql) in religious matters. They also form opinions and deduce laws using Aql. The difference is that both call it by different names. -Usoolis call it Ijtehad. -Akhbaris call it Tafakkur, Marifat, etc. Now, one may ask if both Akhbaris and Usoolis use reasoning (Aql) and scholars of both schools differ in their opinions than what is wrong in following one school or the other. I think the one difference is that of quality and training. Akhbaris use Aql in a very crude and disorganized form. each one of them comming up with his/her own understanding of nass. Also they fail to provide clear guidance on modern day issues Usoolis on the other hand use Aql in more organized, refined and standardized way since their scholars receive formal education and training in the Principals governing the use of Aql along with other religious sciences. They are therefore able to apply these principals on Ayats and Hadith to not only explain old issues but also expand them to solve new problems. In light of the discussions we had in this thread and the arguments we have seen b/w the two "Akhbari" groups I would like to invite My Dear Brother siraatoaliyinhaqqun to ponder over these posts and to join the rope of Willayah. The path of Allah, his Rasool (S), the Masoomen (as) and the pious Usooli fuqha and Marajeen. May Allah keep us on the right path.1 point -

Questions That Led The Shia To The Truth
Gypsy reacted to Haydar Husayn for a topic
Too boring, and lame questions. Even if hypothetically a Sunni could convince me that Shi'ism is wrong, he could never convince me of the truth of his religion. It is just too incoherent. The questions presented here aren't that good at all, whereas the questions Shias can ask of Sunnis are so good that knowledgeable Sunnis tell the others to stay away from Shias for fear of being consumed with doubts. On the other hand, I have never heard of a Shia scholar telling Shias not to talk to Sunnis. The only real question I could detect in this video was the one about Umm Kulthum being married to Umar. I don't really know why a Sunni would want to go there, because their own narrations don't exactly put the affair in a very flattering light (read http://www.shiachat....ost__p__2178526). From our side, most Shias will just deny the event ever took place, so they have no questions to answer, but for those of us that do accept it happened, we have hadiths from our Imams (as) that explain that Imam Ali (as) was forced into giving her in marriage (read http://www.revivinga...mm-kulthum.html ).1 point -
Imam Ali (a.s) Praying In The Imamat Of Abu Bakar!
Gypsy reacted to Waiting for HIM for a topic
So what if Imam Ali (as) prayed behind Abu Bakr? What does it prove? Only Imam Ali (as) would know if Imam was praying with the niyah of farada or with jamaa'. Praying behind anyone does not prove anything. Everybody prays behind Imam of Kaaba' during Hajj. Even Sunnis do not take the Imam of kaaba as their leader let alone Shias.1 point -
