You are right. At the start i was interested in it but fast forwarding through all episodes, i found it to be nothing but with full of flaws & nonsense. The article you mentioned "Helound" by "Rasekhhon" website. I think its very correct in their interpretation of this series -

It is unlike what you said, Islam has given women right to get a divorce and a jurist cannot object to that if a woman is not willing to live with her husband let alone a bad husband. Jurist can only ask them to think about it before taking a serious step which is in accordance with the teachings of Islam. I have never seen a woman being put in chains or her husband in a well-educated Islamic society but I do have witnessed oppression with both man and woman in both liberal and superstitious quarters of society. -

I think if you lived in the west you could appreciate shariah more. The short comings you see in it is human failings. Female rights in the west lead to some of the greatest of tyranny where no one has true rights. -
A question i asked to my marja (Ayatollah Khamenei) in the past Is it permissible to eat fish ball that one doesnt know wether the fish inside is halal or not? Salamun `alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu If you know that the fish has been legally caught (that is, it was caught alive or died in a fishing net), but you doubt whether it has scale or not, there is no problem in eating it.
