Before I started a Hawza life I used to do lot of research online How to get admission and stuff but I’ve never get enough information about it. So today I’ll tell you all the steps.

Ps:  It’s better to have some worldly education (At least High school or even Masters) not because they will not accept you.But If you have worldly education, you’ll have better understanding of Islamic Knowledge.

Al Mustafa International University Iran Is the head of all Hawza’s across the globe

Almost all Hawza’s are under Al Mustafa University

Admissions

There is no specific time to get admission you can take whenever you want. If you have any of following passport you might not get admission as quick (Pakistani, Indian) not because that they are racist but actually there are lot of Pakistani's Indians studying here and there space is almost full for these countries.

How to get Admission?

There are three ways to get admission

1: If there is a Jamatul Mustafa branch in your country you should contact them and fill the admission forum and wait till they accept you and send your student visa.

2: Apply Online on “rsampa.miu.ac.ir  . Fill the forum and wait till they contact you (Normally it will take around 3-9 months)

3: Visit Iran for Ziarah and visit Jamatul Mustafa in Qom and fill the online forum and wait till they do your work (it’ll take about a month) They might provide you temporary accommodation

After you get admission    

They will provide you temporary accommodation and after that they will send you to Farsi Learning School.

You’ll have 4 options

1: Qom

2: Mashhad

3:Esfahan

4: Ishtian               

You can choose from following!!!From where you want to learn Farsi and Tamhedia(Basic Islamic Laws)

Rooms are quite normal you’ll get your own bed with a small wardrobe. And you’ll have to live with other 7 students in one room

Timing

Breakfast: 7:15am

Class: Usually it’s from 8am to 1pm

Lunch: After 1pm

Dinner after Maghribain/ 8pm

Lights off 11pm

What will they provide?

Hostel

Pocket money 48 Dollars (per month)

3 time food (Thursday only 2 times and Friday no food)

Health Insurance

Ps: For married couple things are quite different

They have limited houses for couples (You might have to wait for your turn)

To Rent a house it may cost you around  45$ a month for 2 rooms but you’ll have to gave Rehen(Security) this depends on House/Area where you’re living it might be from 2000$ to 15000$ (You’ll get this money back when you’ll leave the house)

What will you do after finishing Persian & Tamhedia?

Then you’ll have to choose which Madrasa you want to go.

There is only Two options Farsi or Arabic Madrasa for advance Islamic Studies

For Example: Imam Khomenai University, Hujjatiya (They are Farsi Madrasas)

Ahlulbayt & Imam Sadiq (as) Madrassa are Arabic Madrasas

In these Madrasa they will teach you advance Islam.

Can I get a job after becoming a Scholar?

Well first of all remember that you're on Allah's way and sacrificing yourself for Allah you shouldn’t think that you won’t get a job.

There are options if you want to live in Iran as a student they’ll provide you money (Hardly enough).

Other than that there are few other options

For Example: You can be a writer, You can be a Translator, You can be a public speaker (most of the Hawza students becomes speaker)

You can go back to your country and serve your community.

Ps: If any sister wanted to start a Hawza life there are also Hawza's for sister ,,, Bint ul Huda in Qom etc

May Allah bless you, and I have been studying Arabic for some time. I am between vocabulary and tightening up loose ends with grammar, and so I would like to have a reference I can go to to ask questions without being asked if I am Shia or Sunni. That being said, I’ve been to discord servers to learn Arabic which always ended in that silly question. If I could find ashar ithnan believers I think I can actually learn without all the side track prejudice. Plus it is not good to sit with those who innovate anyways.

Would you consider to work in company where you can earn for living but then they are enemies of our faith e.g usa, au etc in medical insurance field as remote worker? 

Im trying to figure out which choices are off limits when it comes to internships/early career choices. I do not want to contribute to political organizations that contribute to the oppression and war in middle eastern countries or for example large tech companies that fund Israel, but at the same time I feel like I should experience their high level tech solutions and learn from within their organizations in order to make a difference one day. I do not want to contribute to evil goals, but at the same time I realize I cannot contribute much if Im still learning. 

A scholar once told me that the difference between us and the Jews is that we do not justify the means for the sake of the end. However, I struggle to see how we can learn from these evil companies without participating in them.

I want to be able to help and support Imam al Mahdi ajtf, in the right way. Please, help me. 

Has anyone learned Qur'anic Arabic at the Ijaada institute? If so, any thoughts on how it went, if it was effective and worth it?

Looking for an effective, price and time friendly course, as someone who's learned a bit beyond the basics over the years. Apps, casual translating with dictionaries and the internet, the odd book, flash cards, and few free videos and courses can only get you so far when you're already quite busy with your day-to-day life..the slow pace has been frustrating. Ijaada institute seemed promising and worth it's price..

Are there any successful Qur'anic Arabic courses for busy/full-time working people who want to understand Qur'an and Hadith, and eventually modern dialects?

This is for an adult learner who isn't at a basic level, or at least has picked up vocabulary and grammar over the years and can have some understanding already, so starting from scratch would be seriously difficult/ I wouldn't want to start a class that begins by teaching me how to read Arabic and basic words like "sun" or "day" etc.

I have yet to find a proper app, the Madinah Arabic online resources that most seem to stand by just hasn't worked with me, at least I didn't take it to it's end.

I wonder if there are good news channels that come with english subtitles/I hadn't found one on Youtube. Though, that wouldn't help for the classical style.

I'm seeking guidance on my daughter's educational future. She's interested in pursuing MBBS, and we're exploring options for the September 2025 intake.

We're torn between two options:

*Option 1:* Countries with a strong Shia Ithna Ashari community presence, but with higher fees (around $20,000 per year for 5 years). The upside is that the post-MBBS pay scale is relatively good in these countries.

*Option 2:* Countries with lower fees (around $10,000 per year), but without a significant Shia Ithna Ashari community presence. The downside is that the post-MBBS pay scale is relatively low in these countries.

In both cases, food and accommodation expenses are extra, estimated at around $500 per month.

I'd appreciate advice on:

1. Which option is more suitable for my daughter's educational and personal growth?

2. If Option 1 is recommended, are there any resources or organizations that can provide financial assistance or loans for education? I've already secured a potential loan of $10,000 per year for up to 4 years from my local Jamaat.

Is only giving Islamic education rewarded by Allah and considered as sadqah jahriya or are teaching other wordly educations like subjects like language, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, history, etc.. also rewarded by Allah and considered assadqah jahriya?

I am getting job in Music licence company in IT department. Company sells licence of other's music right to use and customer can use that music or song...company generate income from subscription of licence. I will be IT person of that company who will handle website and server work and get monthly salary.

Is this income is halal or haram?

1 more question....If I am earn money and give to someone else like that money is haram for me but if i give to someone else so it will not haram to other person (him/her)

which ones could you guys recommend for me to buy. I know that maybe all of them are important but I can’t buy them all so I could appreciate if someone could help.

I don't know if it's rooted in culture or biology, but my observation has been that women are better leaders, and are more likely to take charge in crisis situations, and also are less likely to be given credit for their leadership.

My husband and I have been offered a role in SA.

We are a British Shia family and were wondering if there are any expat shias living out there at present & if so, if they / you would be willing to share what it’s like to live there as a Shia family?

We have two young children and I am keen to for them to experience a different culture / way of living but am also aware that SA hasn’t exactly been open to Shias.

I’ll be super grateful for guidance / current experience.

I know that in Islam a man must be wealthy (or at least able to eventually become wealthy) to get married. I find myself disinterested in all careers. I try to force myself to study computer science but it does not interest me. I find this subject boring. Only studying because few majors pay enough to get married these days and this is one of them.

I am not very socially skilled so I don't think medical careers are a good match for me. I honestly have zero clue what I want to study. Because I rely on financial aid I have to decide almost immediately. I like the idea of studying architecture or urban planning but these fields are much harder to get into. I am good at math alhamdulillah but I struggle in every other subject. What should I study?

I am a revert 21 years old with ADHD and autism. My first full time term of college. I like some classes (math). I somewhat like others (computer science). I don't like others (public speaking). Math is good because it is challenging, I tend to hyperfocus, and fast paced.

Programming is interesting to me and I enjoy it so far but the first two classes are very introductory. The first was too slow. I skipped 60% of class time and got an A plus with good understanding. She didn't like this so now you can't skip class or you'll instantly fail. I feel like I'm wasting time attending class. It's far too slow. If I keep skipping at the rate I have been I will be failed though I currently have an A and a good grasp and her comments are all "Excellent code!"

Public speaking is must difficult because I don't like it and it is slow and boring. 

I am concerned because I can't stand 4 more years of this. It needs to be faster. It is impossible to pay attention. I am not allowed to take ADHD stimulants because they caused me irritability and hallucinations. 

I know I need to get an education (in STEM or medical) or I can never get married. I am wanting to study computer science but it's too difficult because the classes are too slow. What do you advise I do? Is it halal to smoke just enough weed to motivate me. Otherwise I can't physically sit in that dark room for 3 hours listening to people ask easy questions all class long. I hate education so much. I am stimming and hyperactive so much
