  1. What's new in this club
  2. Also Oman has more mosques than it has people, it's amazing. Mosques everywhere. When they all start up the call to prayer thing simultaneously the immersive surround sound effect effect is quite psychedelic.
  3. That's umfortunate. During my stay I used a taxi driver as a local guide, I guess we went further into the wadi away from the crowded spots. I too want to see the green highlands. There is a part where they speak a South Arabian "language" known as Jabbali
  4. I went to wadi Bani khalid and it was far from serene and silent. There were hundreds of cars parked there, and hundreds of people in and around the pools picnicking and shouting and playing. I didn't hang around in case I got stuck in a traffic jam trying to get out! It was a nice location though. Oman is beautiful, I'd like to go back and see more of the mountains and go to Salalah.
  5. Wadi Bani Khalid was one of the most beautiful serene, tranquil places I have ever experienced. I remember relaxing in the natural pools and hearing the sound of silence, surrounded by palms and mountains.
  6. I'm going to Oman next week, I'm excited. No Iran this year unfortunately.
  7. European tourists murdering in Morocco : Men with alleged ISIS ties in custody Morocco backpackers buthchered by ‘ISIS’ Terrorists in horrific beheading
  8. two tourist woman from Norway (& Denmark (olanda marin)raped & beheaded by 3 agents of ISIS (Daesh) in Morocco https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2018/12/23/morocco-tourists-dead-arrests-sandoval-pkg-nr-vpx.cnn http://fa.abna24.com/news/اخبار-آفریقا/عناصر-داعش-دو-دختر-را-در-مراکش-سر-بریدند-عکس_745462.html (link contains picture of blurred image of heads) 13 People Arrested For Tourists' Beheadings In Morocco
  9. Middle East: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt Africa: South Africa Europe: UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovak Republic, and Norway. Norway and South Africa were my favorite countries to visit because of the beautiful nature.
  10. I have been to South Africa too and I think it was one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. We just were in Cape Town and south of there, but I have heard that there are many other beautiful spots in the country.
  11. I've been to a number of European and post-Soviet countries. One of the most interesting was Azerbaijan. Since there are probably many Iranians on this website, have any been to Azerbaijan?
  12. Most of Muslim Shia make Zairat for Karbala Iraq nowadays, why you do not try it?
  13. If you are walking, carry candy and chocolates to give to children along the way.
  14. Not sure who took the picture. We were discussing the pic and someone asked my brother what he thought of it. He said, "Sirat al mustaqeen".
  15. Well done to take a good plundge but donot worry about specific comments. And all Moakubs have women ams men seperate rest areas.
  16. Absolutely, sis! I'll add that InshaAllah and may you and your loved ones get innumerable blessings InshaAllah! And thank you for praying for me in your thread! ❤❤❤ I'll write a general letter for all momineen and muslimeen as well, but if anyone wants something in particular write it here and I'll InshaAllah write that for you too.
  17. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wallah you are such a sweet person. Plz Plz include in it that Allah restores my mother's health, giver her long life and that she be happy and do fun activities and vacations with her kids (me and my brother) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Mwah Mwah Mwah. JAzkAllah Khair sweet angel <3
  18. World! I divorce you thrice! Ever since I stepped foot in the holy lands of Iraq I quit everything else. Even when I plan trips to other destinations I just end up in Iraq anyway. There's nothing like the ziyara of Ahlul Bayt a.s.! You recharge your batteries and survive a little longer in Fasadland in the West.
  19. @Miss Wonderful Salam aleikom sis! I hope you are in good health. I asked my aunt to take me to that river where people through in letters with their wishes in Karbala (where Imam Mehdi a.A.f. appeared or disappeared). I have brought a bunch of letters from family and friends that I will throw there on their behalf. I know that you were very interested in this, so if you want I can throw a letter in on your behalf. It could say something like "May Allah swt not let you, Miss wonderful, leave this world unless he's happy with you and grant you all the other wishes you have in your heart or mind". Would you be interested in that? My aunt and I got incredible things after doing this, so it might be worth a try? Of course I'll throw one in for all momineen and muslimeen as well.
  20. Guess who's in Karbala right now? Thank you all for your helpful advice! I'm attending my first ever Arbaeen (but InshaAllah not last)!!! A dream come true!!! Can't believe it's happening. Pretty cool to see the pilgrims. I can't join any shiachatters though coz me and my cousins from England planned our trip and bought our tickets a couple of months ago. We will InshaAllah be walking from Najaf. Our main concern is the toilets. May Allah SWT have mercy on our souls and let us find those western toilets! Otherwise trauma is to be expected. I am a bit angry though. The driver, a family friend, who picked me up together with my aunt from the airport told me that I should not participate in the mashaya because nonmahrams can see me and that women should be staying in their homes. What exactly will they be seeing when you're wearing double abayas? When I bought the tickets and travelled all the way from Europe to attend Arbaeen I didn't sign up for imprisonment. "Welcome to Karbala - the city where nonmahrams will be trying to control and restrict your freedom." Imagine being married to a man like that - basically a life sentence of imprisonment. Anyway we will have a blast InshaAllah. Meanwhile he can go and lock up his own wife.
  21. Clockwise: Pray when time sets in. Be in a state of sadness, deprived, thirsty and hungry Be humble on your walk Recite abundant zikr Observe hijab in the most carefully way Remember our imam Sahib az zaman (afs) Refrain from joking and futile talk Help your fellow zair Pay attention to keeping the places clean
  22. Health benefits of walking: You carry your own body weight when you walk. This is known as weight-bearing exercise. Some of the benefits include: increased cardiovascular and pulmonary (heart and lung) fitness reduced risk of heart disease and stroke improved management of conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, joint and muscular pain or stiffness, and diabetes stronger bones and improved balance increased muscle strength and endurance reduced body fat.
  23. Thank you, but I need translation to this please.
  24. Make sure the footwear and the socks are worn in and not brand new. Worn in does not mean over worn too. And this year there is a whole list of western toilet facilities. The list is floating around.
