Ramadan 18 is the day before Imam Ali AS was struck down, injured. After breaking your fast tonight, after Maghrib and Isha prayers, worship Allah as much as you can, perform ahya (amal to get closer to Allah and to mourn the wounding of Imam Ali AS), to the best of your ability. A special Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Grandeur) or Shabe Qadr prayer, some duas and religious observances can be performed at a masjid or Islamic Center or at your own home:

Ramadan 19 is the day Imam Ali AS was struck and injured during Fajr prayer in the mosque of Kufa, a victim of the poisoned sword of Ibn Muljam al-Muradi, may God curse him. Some believe that Ramadan 19 could be one of the three days known as Laylatul Qadr. As often as possible today, remember Imam Ali AS.

Today is the 23rd day of fasting for those who live in the US and Canada. Ramadan 23 is one of three days that could be Laylatul Qadr. Pray, make duas for others and yourself. If possible, read these Holy Qur'an surahs: al-Qadr (97), al-Ankaboot (29) and al-Roum (30) and do tasbeeh. Worship Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) as much as you can. May Allah accept all our amal (religious observances) and solve all our problems.

Today is the 29th day of fasting for those who live in North America. Pray, make duas, read the Holy Qur'an and do tasbeeh (prayer beads). Worship Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) as much as you can. If the Holy Month of Ramadan is only 29 days this year, today might be the last opportunity to worship in this holy month of blessings. May Allah accept all your religious observances.

Salawat
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
O Allah! Introduce happiness to the people of the graves,
O Allah! Feed the hungry to their satisfaction,
O Allah! Clothe the naked,
O Allah! Defray the debt of every borrower,
O Allah! Change our grief to comfort,
O Allah! Return the way-farers to their homes,
O Allah! Release the Captive,
O Allah! Rectify the misdeeds of the Muslims,
O Allah! Cure every diseased person,
O Allah! Satisfy our wants with Your wealth,
O Allah! Alter our wretched condition to happy condition,
O Allah! Defray our debts and free us from our wants, Surely You are over every thing Powerful.
Salawat

We are waiting for the moonsighting reports. In the US and Canada, today might be Ramadan 30 or Shawwal 1; Eid al Fitr. Check with your local mosque or moonsighting committee to ascertain if today is the last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr.
