    • Can somebody help me find the opinion of Ibn al-Junayd al-Iskafi that the Imams were not infallible, rather they were like the mujtahid.
    • I also don't understand the claim that Rasulullah (s) made mistakes in practice of deen. If I am able to ask God to wake me up for Fajr, then so is Rasulullah (s). If someone goes their whole life without having mistakenly prayed 4 rakat instead of 2 rakat, then so could Rasulullah (s).
    • Note: His claim that Hisham ibn Hakam believed in the corporeality of God is misleading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hisham_ibn_Hakam#Books
    • Look I don't know anything, but... I have a few problems with the fourth theory of ijtihad that Sayed al-Haydari promotes (or at least his understanding of it). 1) It doesn't address scholarly takfir. It is bad enough as it is, and it creates tension among the laymen as it is, but with "intellectual freedom" it will only worsen. It's not appropriate for modernity. It is built on insulting other scholars, denouncing them, and causing fitnah. That itself is part of the loose "intellectual freedom" that has no boundaries or limits. This may have been fine in a less interconnected world, but it would only cause troubles nowadays. He is of the mistaken belief that we can somehow have this fourth ijtihad without the aformentioned takfir. 2) Laypeople are inclined to follow bad opinions, no matter how refuted, so that ought to be a concern with too much intellectual variety. Bringing scholars forth to destroy bad beliefs is unconvincing to laymen. 3) Our communities and mosques would devolve into competing theological subsets. We would lose all unity.   4) All our political advances thus far as Twelver Shias would seemingly vanish or halt if we become disunited 5) This would open the gates for even more crowd-pleasing majalis/khateeb/zakir reciters. We don't need more opportunistic people coming in and confusing the Twelver Ummah. 6) I'm not sure why we should return to  bad ideas. These bad ideas have already been dispelled. 7) As he mentioned, we have no need to be following the scholarly opinions of the past. Which is why recent Twelver scholars hold to an unlimited scope of ilm al-ghayb for the Imams.  I would only be okay with such a theory if the following methods were in place, which brings us back to a slightly toned down version of the third theory:  No issuing Fatwas against other Twelver scholars unless they:  a. Reject Ijtihad and Taqlid b. Reject Usul al-Din or Furuh al-Din c. Promote disunity in the mosques and community centres  d. Are of genuine Ghuluw or Khawarij or corporeal God beliefs If these limitations are not placed, then expect that due to our modern environment, Shiism would be destroyed from within.

*AJ or A.T.F.S. عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف is an English abbreviation used after the name of the 12th Imam AJ. It stands for the Arabic words 'Ajalallaho ta'ala farajahum' or 'Ajalallaho ta'ala farajahu sharif' which means May Allah the Exalted hasten His Relief, the Noble/Honourable.

Iran is commemorating the 31st anniversary of the downing of an Iranian Airbus A300B2 passenger plane by a US Navy guided-missile cruiser in the Persian Gulf waters in 1988.
Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran is commemorating the 31st anniversary of the downing of an Iranian Airbus A300B2 passenger plane by a US Navy guided-missile cruiser in the Persian Gulf waters in 1988.

The commemoration ceremony marking the downing of an Iranian Airbus A300B2 passenger plane by a US Navy guided-missile cruiser took place on Tuesday ahead of the incident's 31st anniversary at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran.

The ceremony was attended by Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammed Eslami, and CEO of Iran Air (HOMA), Touraj Dehghani-Zangeneh.

The Iran Air Flight 655 was an Airbus A300B2 civilian aircraft flying in Iranian airspace over the Strait of Hormuz from the port city of Bandar Abbas to Dubai, carrying 274 passengers and 16 crew members on July 3, 1988, when a US Navy guided-missile cruiser, USS Vincennes, fired missiles at it, killing all the 290 onboard.

US officials claimed the warship had mistaken the passenger plane for a warplane, even though the warship was equipped with highly advanced radar systems and electronic battle gear at the time of the attack.

US did not admit legal liability or formally apologize to Iran. In fact, a year later, the captain of the USS Vincennes, William C. Rogers, was cleared of any wrongdoing in the incident, and was even awarded America’s Legion of Merit medal by then President George Bush for his “outstanding service.”

The US behavior towards the Iranians and other nations shows the country has been committing inhumane acts to achieve its “ominous objectives” and using human rights as a pretext to pursue its “excessive demands and illegitimate interests,” Iranian Foreign Ministry had said in a statement on the 30th anniversary of the incident.

So, I have to wonder – Why did Quora treat my writing differently than Dr.. Najjar’s? Her answers were “collapsed,” or made unviewable by site moderators, more often than my own and was temporarily banned from editing several times. Even after we were both permanently banned, my answers remain on my profile in Quora; while her hundreds of well-researched answers have been completely erased.
Quora replied again today. Still no explanation of my alleged violations. Still accusing me of being unrespectful on their website and the reason for banning me. Something which is absolutely not true.

I asked them what was the last violation I made that caused you to ban me? I asked this multiple times, still no answer whatsoever. I will pursue juridical action, God-Willing. (Nevermind the many times they said I violated the same policy while the answers was perfectly respectful! It was just too true for example: Wahhabism and Al Saud, proof about crimes of the Zionist entity, evidence about US goverment evil actions. I rememeber a very nice answer I had written and they collapsed it and said it was in violation. I scanned the answer again and again, it did not contain anything which could have been seen unrespectful. American Quora is following orders.)

They not only banned and censored me unjustly, but they also deleted all my answers and did not place a " This account is banned " reference. Banned accounts always keep their written answers and get a clear sign that the account is banned. Why not my account? Are they trying to hide something? Why they deleted my answers completely, and put: "0 answers " written by this user? Are they trying to hide something?

Interesting note: They banned me (almost or directly) at the same that they changed their website and how it works for some part (, collapsed answers, which were also a lot of times collapsed for no good reason all over the website, seem no longer to be a part of the website).

My answers exposed lies of the Zionists / American government, including against the Islamic Republic of Iran, showed the truth about matters they do not want to be read. I also spread relevant useful links from resistance / Shia / independent sources in my answers.

Meanwhile, foul language is not a violation on the website. Also writing of various very evil and perverse things is not a violation but welcome on the website.

In the past, I have also been banned from Reddit, while countless of inappropriate and illegal actions were targeted against me from different users and " Subreddit " moderators. (Zionists / ... have made sure they got moderator roles in huge and relevantly important subreddits dedicated to news for example.
