    • This is English I have come cross though not as detailed but is good. This link contains a commentary on surah suad. http://islamicmobility.com/book-details/An Enlightening Commentary Into The Light of The Holy Qur'an Vol. 15
    • I will share my experience. For all of us who can read Urdu I would recommend starting from a simple tafsir to relatively difficult one. So I will recommend you start off with Tafsir Nur by Mohsin Qirati or Tafsir Kauthar by Mohsin Najafi then go on to Tafsir Namoona by Ayatullah Naser Makrem Shirazi.Tafsir Noor has been translated up to surah yasin and will be completed within a year inshallah. The other two Tafsir are complete. Al Mezan is a excellent tafsir but it will benefit those are want to get to every fine detail one can imagine. For mere mortals such as myself getting Tafsir Namoona is hard considering one has to read 10 thousand pages if one decides to read all 15 volumes cover to cover.
    • source please brother. very true.  I would like to add: [Shakir 30:31] Turning to Him, and be careful of (your duty to) Him and keep up prayer and be not of the polytheists [Shakir 30:32] Of those who divided their religion and became sects, every sect rejoicing in what they had with them. of course we're born into this division of Islam into sects. how do we (Sunni/ Shia/ salafi/ etc) rationalize, through upholding this division, the above 2 verses are not applicable to us? [honest question]

    • The companions of the Imam ('ajal Allah ta'ala farajahu alshareef) will be free of shirk, which we aren't at all. No one I know of is, rather most fall into minor shirk, including me. Something as simple as giving all our thanks to a person for doing something good for us, which is polite, but we don't even think to thank Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) for allowing the person for doing something good for us, rather we prefer to believe that they gave themselves the power to do it, but all good and power comes from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى). Another common thing which used to eat me up is Riyaa, which is rather than to do something completely for the sake of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), we do it to show others (or at least partially do it to show others), and we don't even realize it. Imam Khomeini's 40 Hadith Expository has a chapter on this, and it will surprise you how much is be considered Riyaa. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) cleanse us from all forms of Shirk and Nifaq, before it's too late.

World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own. It’s also a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world. Assalam alikum brother,
do you know where the thread for Shias being killed is?  They used to have it pinned on the top of the poltics thread but with the fluid system, I can't find anything.  Today there was many Shias who were hanged or beheaded in Saudia and I want to post about it.  Unfortunately this won't be reported or heard by many Shias and I want to recognize the crimes that Ahul Saood committed.

Assalam Alikum brother.  I thought I would be looking at grapes in your page, and then I see a upside down praying mantis, haha so nice.  I hope you are well and in good health.  God bless you.

The nobleness of Hazrat Abalfazl al-Abbas is due to his endeavor, sacrifice, sincerity and his awareness of the Imam (عليه السلام) of his time. It is due to his patience and resistance. It is because he abstained from drinking water [he was extremely thirsty] when water was right in front of him; and during this time there was no religious or customary law that would've prevented him from quenching his thirst. The value of those martyred at Karbala is that they defended the sanctum of Truth in the most difficult conditions one can ever imagine.
