(bismillah) (salam) You can pray this namaz/salat like Salat al Fajr but when you say "I offer salat u ...... il qurbatan ila llaahi" at ...... you say shukur and recite after Surat Al-Fatiha, Surat Al-Ikhlaas (#112). I do like that :)

sidrizvi22 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 (salam) Thanks to all of you for your replies :) but when I was a good little boy back in Pakistan  , I used to say the Namaz-i-Shukrana and I remember reading in a book that in the second rakat u have to recite Surah Kafirun and also there is something else you read while in Sajdah. It has been about 10 years since I have said this prayer and heheh I've totally forgotten.but my mom just called yesterday and I asked her if she could find that book for me. Keeping my fingers crossed.Thanks.
