peace,

Those who have divided their way and become shiyaAAan, you are not with them in anything. Their matter will be with God, then He will inform them of what they had done. (6:159)

or in other words

Those who have divided their way and become sects, you are not with them in anything. Their matter will be with God, then He will inform them of what they had done. (6:159)

Funny, nobody wants to post in this thread.

Interesting.

Wa Salaam,

Ya Muhamamd, instead of being antagonistic (I can't find the right word) then just post an ayat. If all you accept is Qur'an then just deal with that. I accept the fact that you don't accept hadith or any of the schools of thought. That is no problem. We do what we must and we "must" based upon our reason and understanding. If you wish to be inspirational just post whatever ayats move you. We are all Muslim and to be honest, we really do not have enough time on this planet to be argumentative. Take the bigger road and again, post whatever ayats move you. Here's one that has inspired me lately.

"Everyone which is thereon shall pass away, there shall remain but the Majestic and Glorious Image of your Lord." (Surah 55:26-27)

Wa Salaam,

Djibril

Salaamun to ALL

25:33. And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof).

This ayat is speaking about Al-Qur'an.

Wa Salaam,

How do you know that?

Wa Salaam,

Djibril

"Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with Him any (other) god-in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe" [23:91]

[surah 2 : Verse 286]

Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability

For it is (the benefit of) what it has earned, and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought

Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake

Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us

Our Lord! do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear

And pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us

Thou art our Patron, so help us againts the unbelieving people

[49.12] O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion, for surely suspicion in some cases is a sin, and do not spy nor let some of you backbite others. Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? But you abhor it; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful.

[16.125] Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and have disputations with them in the best manner; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way.

[33:21] Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.

There is a good example set for you by Abraham and those with him. They said to their people: "We disown you and the idols that you worship besides God. We reject you, and you will see nothing from us except animosity and hatred until you believe in God alone." Except for the saying of Abraham to his father: "I will pray for your forgiveness, even though I possess no power to protect you from God." "Our Lord, we trust in You, and we turn to You; to You is the final destiny." 60-4

The Elevated Places

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

[7.1] Alif Lam Mim Suad.

[7.2] A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers.

[7.3] Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind.

[7.4] And how many a town that We destroyed, so Our punishment came to it by night or while they slept at midday.

[7.5] Yet their cry, when Our punishment came to them, was nothing but that they said: Surely we were unjust.

[7.6] Most certainly then We will question those to whom (the apostles) were sent, and most certainly We will also question the apostles;

[7.7] Then most certainly We will relate to them with knowledge, and We were not absent.

    • Really anything? Applying such an constitution could easily mean that bloodshed could happen everywhere in Iraq because the concern is not any matter but rather a disputed lands.
    • You can ask that about anything. Plus that literally is supporting the idea the Iraqi central gov is being dictatorial and not following the constitution, which it agreed upon in 2003 with the Kurds.
    • The Quran words we have got came through the mouth of the prophet saww. we believe in Quran but some do not like to follow the prophet saww.  Is it not hypocrisy?

The late Allamah Tabataba’i considered self-examination and mystic
contemplation as important in the beginning of the spiritual journey, as
they are the first steps in self-purification:
Every morning when you get up, intend to take God’s
satisfaction into account no matter what happens. This
way, you will consider the hereafter in all that you do. This
state of mind should be kept until bedtime. At bedtime,
ponder on your daily actions, considering them one by one
for five minutes; thank God for whatever deed that
brought about His satisfaction, and ask for His forgiveness
for whatever deed that angered Him. Keep taking this
action every night. Although this method may be difficult
and bitter to you, it is the key to salvation. Every night, if
possible, recite the following Qur’anic chapters: Hadid,Hashr or jummah .
