This is pretty lame from someone who is opposed to one-liners:
The best names are the 3ubida and 7umida i.e the best names are the names like Abdullah, Abdul Majid, Abdul Hameed and Abdul Qaadir etc. (abstain from naming Abdul Rahmaan for obvious reasons. Also names like Muhammad and Ahmad.
Boys names (other than the above mentioned)....
Abbas, Ali, Hasan, Jafar, Hamza, Muslim, Husayn, Mohsen, Ibrahim, Qaasim, Moussa, Zain, Baaqir, Sadiq, Kadhem, Ridha, Jawad, Hadi, Mahdi, Habeeb.
The best girls name is Fatimah, every household should have 1.
other than that:
Khadija, Zainab, Zahraa, Batoul, Layla, Rabaab, Narjis, Aasya, Maryam, Soukayna, Ruqayya, Joumana.

But hmm......surely when we name our kids we won't be like oh yeh lets call our kid abdul rahman after the killer of Imam Ali
BESIDES I THINK THIS DAY AN AGE YOU should call your kid jaffar an write Jeff on the birth certificate. all the shias will need to do taqiyyah soon. The end is nigh......

re. the abdul Rahman thingy come on <_<
Hussein is associated with saddam so must we stop calling our children Hussein?
However if there is a tyrant who has an uncommon name like 'Yazeed' then in that case one should not name their child yazeed because at that point it would be automatic in drawing a link between the child and the tyrant. but what if yazeeds name was muhammed...would we stop calling our children muhammed???? adbul rahman is a very common name so i dont see a problem with it. Infact I have never in the past associated anyone I know with that name to Ibn Muljim.
