Selam alaycom,

Short dua after isha or evening prayer:

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Allah, I beg to request You that I have no knowledge of the estuaries of my provisions and I no doubt seek it because of the uncertainties springing in my heart so I hustle about in the cities in seeking it. I be therein like a confounded seeker, not knowing either it is in plains or is it in mountains, either in the land or in the rivers, yonder anyone or before anyone, and I do know that You have its knowledge, its means at Your hands and You are the one awarding it by Your favor and executing it by Your favor. O Allah, peace be on Hazrat Mohammed (S.A.W.) and his sacred progeny, and favor me, O Lord, ever magnifying provisions, its seeking easier and its attainment nearer, and not strain me from tapping sources having no provisions therein for me. And You are over and above straining me, and I a beggar of Your favor, and peace be on Mohammed (S.A.W.) and his sacred progeny, and ameliorate me by Your favors. Verily You have abundant favors.

(salam) (bismillah) (as) qas (ra) pbuh

Yo recite this dua by Nabi Musa (as)

Ilahi be haqqe Muhammadin syyedil ambiya

saa'datul azkia asqeheem.

It's been stated that when Bani Israel demanded water Off Musa (as) in the desert, he recited the dua above. And no sooner this dua was recited by him, Allah (swt) directed Musa (as) to strike his stick on the stone, on complying, TWELVE fountains gushed for twelve tribes....

Basically, when in trouble, worry, when u need something accomplished or when u need to give 12 tribes of thirsty jews water....recite this dua !!! YA GET MEEEE..........

Selam alaycom,

The Tasbeeh of Sayeda Fatima (as)

Sayeda Fatima (as) used to work very hard in her house. Her father our Holy Prophet, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) could see how hard she worked.

One day he told her that he was going to give her something that would be better than a helper or anything else in the world.

He gave her Tasbeeh.

He told her that after every Salaat she should say:

Allahu Akbar - 34 times

Alhamdulillah - 33 times

Subhanallah - 33 times

This is what we call the Tasbeeh of Sayeda Fatima.

Prayer is like a beautiful flower and the Tasbeeh of Sayeda Fatima (as) gives that beautiful flower a beautiful smell.

So after every Salaat we should say the Tasbeeh of Sayeda Fatima (as) because we want our prayer to be like a beautiful flower with a beautiful smell.

A reliable narration from Imam Baqir (as) states: Whoever performed the tasbeeh of Fatima (as) then asked Allah for forgiveness, Allah forgave him 100 times, added 1,000 good deeds to his scales, repelled the shaytan and Allah was pleased with him.

Imam Sadiq (as) narrated: Whoever did the tasbeeh of Fatima (as) before he unfolded his legs (from the position of sitting in obligational prayer) Allah forgave him and made paradise obligatory upon him.

He also relates: The tasbeeh of Fatima (as) in every obligatory prayer is more loved than praying 1,000 rikats every day.

It is related from Imam Sadiq (as): that whoever did the tasbeeh of Fatima (as) after every prayer, and ended it with la illaha illa Allah, Allah forgave his sins.

It is preferred to use the beads that are made from the turba of Imam Hussein (as). A woman should carry prayer beads made of the turba of Imam Hussein (as) to protect her from adversity.

It is related that Fatima (as) used to make tasbeeh on her hands, or on a wollen string that was knotted. It was customary to use the hands or string, until Hamza (ra) was killed, upon when it became practice to use clay beads. When Imam Hussein (as) was killed, it was preferred to use the clay that was from nearby his grave.

Imam Mahdi (ajfrs) has related: That whoever forgot to make dhikr (remembrance) and in his hand is a rosary of beads made from the turba of Imam Hussein (as), reward is written for him.

Imam Sadiq (as): The beads from the grave of Imam Hussein (as) are counted as tasbeeh on the hand of a man, even if he didn't make the tasbeeh (he only held it).

Imam Sadiq (as) also related: Whoever did the tasbeeh with the turba of Hussein (as) once, Allah counted it for him 70 times, and when he touches the beads with his hand and doesn't do tasbeeh with it, for each bead he touches, the reward is 7 times.

Another narration says that for each bead is 40 hasanat.

A reliable tradition from Imam Musa (as) states: The true believer is not without five things: a miswak, a comb/brush, a prayer rug, tasbeeh beads and an aqiq ring.

It is related from Imam Sadiq (as): Whoever did tasbeeh on the clay beads from the grave of Imam Hussein (as) Allah wrote for him 400 good deeds, and erased from him 400 bad deeds, and met 400 of his needs and raised him 400 degrees/ levels.

The narrations recommend that the string the beads are threaded on be blue in color.

It is narrated from Al Burqy from Imam Sadiq (as): Whoever did the tasbeeh 10 times after his obligatory prayer and before he moved his legs from his place, Allah erased from him 400 thousand thousand bad deeds and wrote for him 400 thousand thousand good deeds, and it is if he read the Holy Quran 12 times. Then he said: I myself don't move my legs (from the sitting position after prayer) without saying it 100 times, but for you, say it (only) ten times.

Peace,

Um Ali

9. Our Lord! Behold we have heard a voice calling us unto faith: "Believe in your Lord" as we have believed. (3:193)

rabbanaaa innanaa sami’-naa munaadiyay yunaadee lil-eemaani an aaminoo birabbikum fa-aamanna rabbanaa faghfir lanaa d’unoobanaa wa kaffir a’nnaa sayyii-aatinaa wa tawaffanna ma-a’l abraar

To hear dua #9

Comments:

The wise men hear the message of Allah, and, as they have already understood the meaning of the nature of divine creation, readily accept the true faith, the belief in the one and only Allah, seeking His forgiveness for the sins they have committed in the days of ignorance; and not forgetting that Allah (alone0 can keep them on the right path till the last day of their lives in this world, invoke Him to make them die as true believers.

Make a habit of reciting this dua’a because there is nothing worth keeping with yourself except the true faith to the last breath of your life, in order to obtain permanent bliss in the next world. This world is a place of test and trial for you. Even after a whole life time of true faith if a person for a single insignificant moment, does not believe in the one and only almighty Allah in the last breath of his life, he is forever condemned to the fire of hell.

Peace,

Um Ali

Selam alaycom,

Most welcome. :) I have a program like that, with the duas, but it's only the Arabic text and English translation, it doesn't have audio.

qdua15.gif

15. Our Lord! Pour out on us patience and constancy, and make us die as those who have surrendered themselves unto You. (7:126)

rabbanaa afrigh a’laynaa s’abraw wa tawaffanaa muslimeen

To hear dua #15

If hardship, poverty and discomfort come into your life, you, as a faithful servant of Allah must recite this dua’a to have patience and self-control to remain firm on the right path and face misfortunes boldly, without ever showing any weakness, or taking any action that has been prohibited, so that you may leave this world as a true muslim, submitting to the will of Allah. A group of master magicians, on the invitation of Pharaoh, came to show their superiority over Musa because Pharaoh wrongly thought that Musa was also a magician. The magicians threw a few ropes on the floor and they took the shape of snakes. Moosa put the staff, he was holding in his hand on the ground. The staff changed into a python and swallowed up the snakes. Pharaoh got angry and threatened to kill them. When the magicians came to know that Musa was not a magician but a prophet of Allah, and what they saw was a miracle of Allah, they laughed at Pharaoh and recited this dua’a.

16. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the evildoing folk, and save as by Your mercy from people who deny the truth (10:85-86)

rabbanna laa taj-a’lnaa fitnatal lil-qawmi-dhaalimeen wa najjinaa birah’matika minal qawmil kaafireen

To hear dua #16

When Musa observed that none from among his people, save a few, trusted him, because they were in fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, he advised them to put trust in Allah if they had indeed surrendered unto Him, then they recited this dua’a.

We must also recite this dua’a daily to remain firm in our faith and to seek protection of Allah from the harm of our enemies.

Um Ali
