Tehran, Feb 11, IRNA -- Large groups of people thronged into
streets joining million-strong rallies in Tehran and other cities
across the country to commemorate the the 25th anniversary of the
victory of the Islamic Revolution.
In Tehran, people walked toward Azadi square, where
the jubilation is held, in various groups and through seven routes.
The ralliers shouted slogans reiterating the need for resistance
to protect the ideals and achievements of the Islamic Revolution
and massive public turnout in the upcoming Majlis (parliamentary)
Women, men and children, the young and the elderly,
attended the rally to commemorate once more the epic measures taken
in 1978 and to make enemies realize that Iranian people from all
walks of life will do their best to protect the Islamic Revolution
and its values.
