Founder of Islam?

Question

How can Mohammed be said to be the founder of Islam if it claims a line back to the first man Adam and encompasses Abraham, the father of the Jews. Surely if that’s true Mohammed is the latest incarnation of a much larger religious movement of which the Koran is the last interpretation, like the Old Testament and Jesus’s new Testamemt, surely it means Islam is at least 6000 years old.

The founder of Islam is not any Prophet, it is Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى.

Also, what you say is correct. All the Prophets and Messengers were preaching one religion, and that religion is Islam.

The only difference is the Laws and the Manahij were subject to abrogration from time to time.

who says muhammad saw is the founder of islam? what you said is pretty much correct. all of it. we believe islam was the first religion as adam was the first human and he was muslim and a messenger of the One God, Allah.

edit: but that doesnt represent the status of muhammad saw. he is the highest and best of all messengers and mankind, despite being the last one to be sent. there are narrations which suggest that Allah created this creation for muhammad saw.
