Turkey cooked in the traditional way (Thanksgiving time in the US), is baked with butter, salt and black pepper and it's very bland. Tandoori chicken has several spices, so it would be really tasty. Different families use different spices in their own personal tandoori spice mix. My spice mix would include turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, ginger and paprika. I might throw in a little curry powder, too. :)

how does turkey taste, differently from chicken of course? ever had duck?

Turkey is a little different from chicken, I'm not sure how to describe it. I've only had duck once. Didn't care for it. It was too oily.
