answering questions by the shia brothers

Salam all, i am new here. i am a muslim, a "sunni" so to speak, but have a few differences with the majority found nowadays. i recently made an account on a sunni forum but was banned soon and the reason told to me by the mods was that i am a closet shia and i should take my "propaganda" to a shia forum, while all i did was state facts and ask questions in a very respectful manner. i mention this only to make clear that i am not someone who follows the herd blindly, but rather am a student of knowledge and always look for the truth.

anyway, i am here to find some answers and to give some answers inshaAllah. but the former shall be done in a different post. for now, i welcome any questions or "Challenges" the shia brothers have about/for the "ahlussunnah" and i will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Salam, and welcome to shiachat.

Okay my question is: Do also hold the view that, every hadith enlisted in Sahih Burkhari  is Sahih?

What were the facts and questions you presented?

lol people were comparing hz muawiya to the saabiqoon al awwaloon like abu bakr and umar(yes, i do believe they were among them). and said that muawiya was a great sahabi. i simply said that statement is incorrect, even according to sunni authentic literature.

lol, in short, no.

let me explain. when we say sahih, we mean to say that the sanad of the hadith is sahih, satisfying five principles, usul e khamsa. i do believe that every continuous chain in bukhari is authentic. but that does not mean the matn of it is also correct. an overwhelming majority of continuous chain ahadith in bukhari also have their matn correct. but a few of them have incorrect matn. this is my current understanding which is based upon evidence and deduction.

    • Salaam Aleikum, Let say there is period of time where a born Muslim live in west and have no idea of anything about God, Islam, Prayer, Islamic laws and the person lives only according his desires and have ignorance about the matters of Islam. If the person realize God, and realize Islam and start to practice Islam, will the past sins be all forgiven?  Second, what happens to the Salaat and Fasting of that time, does it need to do Qada?

Peace!” (Quran 56:25-26) There will be no enmity between people nor ill-feelings: “And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world)…” (Quran 7:43)   “And whoever obeys God and the Messenger – those will be with the ones upon whom God has bestowed favor – of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous.  And excellent are those as companions!” (Quran 4:69) “Crystal-white, delicious to those who drink (thereof), free from intoxication, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom” (Quran 37:46-47)   “...rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes...” (Quran 47:15)   they shall have therein purified mates…” (Quran 2:25) “And when you look there (in Paradise) you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion.” (Quran 76:20)
