Salam

Shias follow Sunnah and Ahlulbayt tradition and follow the ways of the Quran. As a side note, Hanafi, Shafi, Hanbali, Maliki are all Sunni schools of thought that came 100-200 years after the life of The Prophet (SAWA). How can I trust those schools of thought when I can follow the ways of the Holy Prophet's family. :)

The contradiction that I experience personally is that if the Fuqaha base their rulings on Ijtihad then actually everybody is allowed to practice Ijtihad but that is not allowed in mainstream Sunni Islam.
