This question is so unfair.  It was too difficult to choose.  The context of how the cheese is being applied matters too much :/

LOL. I just listed the Top10 as ranker.com has it.

I am a simple man - there is feta and then there are other cheeses.

I was going to say I never met a cheese I didn't like, but then I remembered those ones with the moldy blue veins in it. :tongueangry:

Me too. Blue cheese just tastes too moldy to be palatable. I don't know how people eat it.

Where's the American ?. l want to vote for American Cheese".

You mean the bland ripoff of the Leicester Red? I don't know but I don't trust people who like American cheese.

Easy, it is like eating feta. I like it, goes well with buffalo chicken.

I would find a different one, not that I trust doctors to begin with.

Lyechester Red?  That does not sound Amerikan.  Must be one of those yUcK brands.

Leh-stah red.

You are absolutely right, it doesn't sound Ameikkkan at all , it's a gloriously orange cheese from jolly old England.

Orange ?    Blahhhhhhh

Thanks

You have never tried 'Gorgonzola Dolce' ! Nobody has mentioned Normandy Camembert.

For the yummiest cheese pasta sauce: melt together knob of butter, spoonful sweet Gorgonzola, grated real Parmigiano, three spoonful single cream, four chopped leaves of fresh sage, your taste of pepper and salt; add to 'penne' pasta and die of pleasure..

Just don't do it too often. :)

Forget the shia v sunni divide, this may divide the Ummah even more.

Here are the Top100 as ranked by people:

http://m.ranker.com/crowdranked-list/the-very-best-cheese

I think cheese depends on the menu item. For me

By itself - feta

On burgers: Swiss or American although the American cheese tries to take over all the other flavors.

Philly Cheese Steak: provolone

Pizza: 4 cheese of course

Blue cheese dressing is good... Buffalo wings with blue cheese and celery.
